Informing tax authorities on coming upon evasion of this magnitude is not wrong. It indicates prolonged and planned fraud and There is something known as ethics. So now Dev has to pay 300% of the original tax plus interest and penalty. He deserves it for leaving his company and its employees futures in the hands of someone as incompetent and dishonest as vicky. I am sure after this excise authorities will also come knocking.

Dev needed to learn this lesson. But I wouldn't worry about him getting penniless. This is an Indian show and they will keep the hero rich and powerful.

Also, shouldn't the onus of all this fraud come on the CEO? It would be remarkably stupid of Dev to let vicky off again. But then when has this not been the case? No human being worth his salt would be so impractical.. It is as if Dev is moving around with a poster on his back - stab me!

Or is he waiting for Ishwari to take a stand against her family for him? Is he waiting for her to take an action?

The look he gave her when vicky sold his office spoke a thousand words.

PS - even I love this thread because one can say here whatever one wants without fear of being ridiculed or browbeaten into submission. It's everyone's way here not my way or the highway. Thanks Sam and DQ for that😊

I haven't read many posts but I have to mention that the post "Dev and happiness" by @samsnalyse was worth reading. So many good analysis and perceptions here, the Creatives need to visit this thread to take away some ideas. 👏

Last nights episode was a nail in the coffin for Ishwari and Vicky. For Ishwari it re-emphasised that Dev is not the old Dev. He is caring, loving towards his family but not a 'Mama's boy' anymore. He didn't feel guilty about the pizza order neither was he thrilled about 'besan ka halwa'. 😃 No salt in the food wasn't given any importance either. It's as though he was completing an obligation, though the concern about Ishwari's health did reflect in his persona. I don't think Dev is going to take any nonsense from Ishwari if she again interferes with Dev-Sonakshi. She better leave Sonakshi alone!!

Vicky has taken his corrupt mind too far. His fraudulent activities are likely to fall out one by one. Either he has to brace himself for going to jail or pay a huge penalty or Dev could bail himself out. I want the former for XGKB to come to her senses. If Ishwari gets involved here, Dev should say a straight 'NO'. But, the Creatives may also choose to use this plot differently.

Sonakshi stood her ground today and taught Dev some good lessons on why it's important not to be so pig-headed. 😃 Dev can retaliate again!! 😲 But, Sonakshi should not interfere in Dev's business. Can Dev punish her for trespassing!! Sonakshi is losing focus and it looks like she is hell bent on making life difficult for Dev. Why? She had every reason to complain about being locked in? Why did she choose not to do that? Dev is concerned about his business reputation? Valid point. But wouldn't Sonakshi's name also appear alongside that? Wouldn't the media speculate on their lives and sharing office space? What has she achieved by calling in the IT guys? Was it only business ethics that made her do this? When Bijoy-Asha find out what happened, how would they react? Lots of questions. Interesting episodes ahead.

The pace of the show has slowed down. Are they still writing down the script for next week?

Hi everyone.

After reading all the posts now I would like to put my points related to last two episodes.

First of all I was hoping they dev will be varried about sona when she will not call but I think as I have mention in my previous post there first poison need to come out and that is exactly happening but as a devaskhi fan we want the things should move fast. but one thing is sure that he is not having any wrong felling for sona's character this get proved in dev and vikki's conversation.

Once again I like the way he handle Ishu and her halwa blackmail and now Ishu is coming in to her original form where she is not going to to do any thing to understand any point and just interpret the situation according to her wish. Some how I am having a strong belief that confrontation is remaining or it is incomplete and those who feel pity for her then let me tell you her punishment is incomplete. Her punishment will be complete when she is standing on the streets once again due to her own behavior.She is still going to trust Mamai and vikki I am sure about it. The distance between the dev and Ishu is going to get increased. previously when dev was not giving her the status of godless she was ok because sona was not in the picture.Now but when sona is in the picture she is going to insecure once again.

Sona is seeing the new Dev as the dev whose outer appearance is changed but his inner self is the same of dev 1.0. It will take time to understand that this dev is Dev 2.0 and for that she required to understand what has changed in Ishu niwas and there is only one person will will tell this difference is Elena.

If you ask me there is not much difference in Sona1.0 and Sona 2.0 only difference is she is now Soan Bijoy Bose not the sona but there is not much change in the in the Bose house and there culture only one change is I get the Ishu's Vibes in Bijoy . But that flavor will come into picture afterword not now. This will come into the picture when soha actually want to meet her father and she will demand it openly.

I can see the change is coming. Now coming to yesterday's sona's complain and the dev's relay. Actually I am seeing the role reversal. the Old Dev is now soan . I am able to remember the starting of the season 1 where dev want that sona should work for her and she forced her to work by removing her from her job. At that point dev has taken the decision with in the few minutes. For It departments complaint also she want to give a relay to dev and by chance she get the tool. Now dev will be angry on vikki and mami and he will not going to leave him and vikki can set the fire in the office and to save the sona may be dev will disobey the order of IT dept to not come in to the office an may be get arrested. and soan will be get surprised this could be interpretation of the spoiler pic and may be he will get arrested and soan will bail him. I am remembering a shot in the first season when I think on the first day of work when dev says why you are angry on the dev as dev has given her the better salary and better job and soan says that for this he has played with his reputation so she is angry. At this moment same has happened . with the IT dept. complain the dev will be get saved from the future loose and vikki and mami but In this way dev wasn't expecting it.

Still I want to pen down my some of my thoughts but I will put it in another post.

Woah, this thread is just running through pages, and I love it! 😃 Thanks everyone for sharing your views, and welcome to all the people posting for the first time. We're very happy to see you!

For me, the most significant part of the episode were the continued echoes of S1. Back then, Sona had promised Vicky that she wouldn't allow him to steal from Dev. Inadvertently, she fulfilled that promise yesterday. Vicky thought that he he had won already, when he managed to tip Dev and Sona's marriage over the edge and into divorce, but time is showing that this is the long-game, and it ain't over till it's over!

I think Sona's decision to report Dev was absolutely right from the perspective of an ethical citizen. As we have seen time and again, that is how Sona perceives herself now, first and foremost and she has amply illustrated this by her liberal use of public services. Plus, Dev literally being a criminal and her being the no-nonsense civilian who exposes his injustice fits nicely into the narrative that forms the foundation of her new life, most importantly, justifying the concealment of Soha.

Right now, Sona doesn't care if Dev goes to jail because she only sees Dev the perpetrator. This was true back in the day as well, when he forced her to work for him. Sona only started to fall for Dev when she saw the ways in which Dev was also a victim, when she began to understand that his bravado and use of force didn't come from the entitlement of being rich, but from cynicism toward a society that had failed his family when they needed support the most. When she learned that, her heart went out to him in spite of everything.

Sona 2.0 is sure that she has grown immune to that connection with Dev. But what remains to be seen, is how much of that immunity comes from the narrative she has built, of him as the spineless, mumma's-robot, who only ever cared about money. Will the immunity hold when she sees the parts of Dev she has blocked out, and is therefore unprepared to encounter? Right now, Dev doesn't really hate Sona; he just wants her out of his space, and is enjoying the games he has to play to make that happen, but Sona definitely hates Dev.

This is the equation I see reversing in the near future. Because she wears it on her sleeve, Sona is purging a lot of her pent up bitterness, and this IT thing especially, will give her great peace of mind that she has shown Dev his place, and exacted revenge for what he did to them and their house. Her hate will ebb and be replaced by indifference. Dev, on the other hand, has just woken up from seven years of emotional detachment. Suddenly his office matters to him, his family matters to him, and the integrity of his company matters to him, and Sona is taking it all away (in the most immediate sense).

All this would have been copacetic if it weren't for one thing: Soha. Now, instead of revealing this sensitive fact to an emotionally detached Dev, it will be revealed to an angry, bitter Dev who already sees Sona as someone out to deliberately sabotage his interests. And is Soha really going to be held to a decision she took in 5 minutes at age 6 for the rest of her life? Sona might come to regret this 5-minute-wala decision, when instead of a calm, detached Dev, she finds herself up against a whole lot of bitterness, which she has awakened. Returning to the refrain I seem to have after every episode, more bitterness ahead.

Disclaimer: Again, not saying Sona was wrong to do it in this moment, with the information she has. BUT hindsight is 20/20 and she might wish she had done things differently when Soha's truth comes out and she finds herself up against Franeknstein's monster in a custody battle.

Sonakshi 's Ethics and morals? To create fire in the office building intentionally just to show herself as the winner ,is distasteful. What would have happened if the fire went out of control and the whole office and herself fall in danger? Did she think for a moment before doing so?

If she is so upright why did she search for wastage in Dev's office ? She could have used her own without checking into other's premises when no one is around.If Dev steps into her portion it is a crime. But Sona can jump into his part and detect his private files just like that.

If locking her up is Dev's blunder creating fire indoor is more revengeful,egoistic,insensitive and thoughtless. She could have easily called up anyone of her employees say Paromita and get herself out. But she is over smart . She is Sonakshi Bose after all.

Now I am putting another part of the post.

Now coming to the soha some how I feel she is truly dev's daugther and she will give the, preference to her mom and family's happyness some how, I am having a feel that she, is, still doing this. I am having one more question why bijoy ask soha about her father. You know the child is very smart like dev . in the dev's childhood when he lost his father he knows how to make, happy his mother and, sister soha is following the same path. She knows, if she ask anything about her father how bijoy's reaction get changed. Or may be I could be wrong but may be after metting dev and knowing he is his father may be she want to meet him.

Lets see how the stroy get proceed. Now according to the tot spoliter this is going to happened

Aasha and ishu will meet in the market and ishu will ask asha to asksona to leave the office. And then sona will come to ishu niwas and meet mami and ishu and then dev. Afterworeds may be vikki to save himself will try to set the fire to remove the evidence and then as I have mentain in my pervious post dev will save sona and this will awake the monster in ishu . then when she will come to know about soha she will try to get hold on dev by the mean of soha and ask for the custody but I am still confident custody battle will not reach to the court. This, is only to give the glims dev and sona how bose and dixit clan is once again start fighting over there daugther to prove there point and right on soha. This will be wake up call for dev and sona

If they are wise they will act as a team but this is possible if dev will support her daughter's wish by going against his family. At that momvent she may see the dev 2. 0. And dev and ishu's relation in true sence. Then the actual journey may start. I seriously want dev should take her share of the property and leave ishu niwas and I think this wii l happen if ishu trust the vikki and mami after it froud and put the blame on sona. And soha's custody will add he fuel. This is one posiblity because she still doesnot trust dev.

Ishwari still has no clue her son has changed seven years back , though he confronted her told her that she was also at blame for his broken marriage but she hasn't truly realized his words

Dev ordering pizza in the past his mother hated the fact if food was even ordered from restaurants but now he is in his own comfort zone so getting take outs is no longer an issue for him but the moment he learns his mother cooked food he respects that fact and tells everyone to join and have dinner however he is not very enthusiastic but has his dinner as a duty so to say

the fact that he ate not considering taste in food its more like his life his taste for everything good is not there .

Sonakshi I felt was not wrong , we all know she always stood for the truth and seeing scams in Dev's company is shocking whether she believes its him or not calling on the raid is much needed Dev needs to know what is going on in his office he would have known had he not occupied his mind and eyes with Sonakshi

but for some reason I felt she too still cares

As for Vicky its time he sits in jail and Dev did warn if he does anything else wrong he would forget he is a brother but do the right thing

so lets see what Dev will do considering Vicky and his scams

Shaavi ur thoughts on role reversal nd repetition of S1 scenes is really coming true.. i was thinking whether we might be getting one more accident scene with Dev as the victim this time nd Sona taking care of him.. AND BHAM... just now saw the segment tht Dev is attacked by goons nd Sona is rescuing him saying similar lines like Dev ... 'open ur god damn eyes' something like tht..

You are turning out to be the Nostradamus of this forum😉😆

There is a saying in Telugu - "Vinasakale viparithabhudhi" which means when one's end reach their acts becomes pathetic. Looks like finally vikky's time has come. And also good to see them away from office. In my yesterday's post I have mentioned that what makers are trying to show, whether they want to expose vikky's evilness or they want to bring Dev on road. May be they want to expose vikky's evilness by bringing(beating) Dev on road.😆

Ishwari believed herself to be an exceptional mother who would go to any length to secure her kids happiness. She firmly believes in keeping relationships once formed. So it will be immensely difficult for her to accept herself at fault for destroying her son's life. Just like during the break up she doesn't accept her responsibility in all this since it was Sona and Dev who had the responsibility to hold onto their relationships and marriage vows. She used the prenup for her family's security and believed that her son would understand her since it is his family too and they had always been a team. She thought he will be his old self with her once he cools down and when it didn't happen immediately linked it to Sonakshi leaving them. It will take a broken Dev whose hands will be tied because of the prenup clause to open her eyes. And I don't know if she will be strong enough to understand and accept what she had become.

When the family saw a jubilant Dev who was bonding with them, Ishwari willingly accepted Dev's words that he was happy on his own and Sonakshi s presence doesn't matter. She tried to connect with him emotionally but Dev didn't even mince his words when he said nothing will be the same as before. Ishwari would have licked her wounds privately if that was all. But Dev's nonchalant attitude even with the lack of salt in the food cooked by her left her shattered. She understood what made Dev happy. It was an insult to the mother in her when she had been there with him all through this and he was never the same. But Sonakshi who left him for good and never glanced back at him could bring him back with her mere presence. This has brought her shackles back up and she is going to fight Sona tooth and nail for her son's happiness which will also include his mother.

Even though I didn't like Sona searching Dev's files that were not even kept openly, I was with her when she used the things she came across. IT sealing the office though seemingly harsh it was much needed for Dev to realize Vicki's hand behind the fraudulent business. It was poetic justice that the same Vicki who had used Dev as a pawn to throw Sonakshi and family from their own home was left at the mercy of Dev for his illegal works, by Sonakshi. This reminded me of their first meet when they accidently collided with each other and Dev's wallet was left with Sonakshi. Though Dev and Ishwari thought that it was lost for good it came back to him. Sonakshi is Dev's wealth and as long as she is there his wealth will be safe from the likes of GKB and Vicki.

P.S: My Grandmother used to tell me that Devil will offer you food without salt and to ward off the evil you have to ask for salt. 😆
