For a story to be a beautiful one they can show flawed characters , gray characters..but dont need to put down one to exalt the other..what is the purpose of it then?

Yes Sona is stronger now emotionally and maybe financially ..this is so great we all wanted it...but at the same time why cant they show that Dev though was emotionally weak strengthened..changed from being the naive trusting person to not a vindictive person but a person though bitter has grown too

Why show him being insensitive to the point of not caring whether she lives or dies in a locked office?

How can they justify a Business Tycoon making a mistake of this proportion? and Sona shown to just shut his office up when she knows how much it means to him?

Why does there have be an EYE FOR AN EYE?

For one to be shown strong the other need not be showed weak..Why isnt this story about equals ?

Are they planning to turn Dev to a Villain a real one because the actor maybe wanted a variation?

I am sorry for all these questions but trying to think the thought process here

Just a question

Sonakshi 's statement " kiski galti ki sazaa kisse milti hai "

we will see who gets punished for whose crime

did she mean that she knows it cannot be Dev or did she mean will he again put blame on her

In precap she tells him that because he has a small problem at office he runs to his mother so does she think he is innocent and this was done by someone else

Good discussions everyone !

I too thought that golu will emotionally blackmail bigcha bcoz he was being asked to say so by his dada, our mamaji. Emotional blackmailing is taught @ a very young age in dixit family ...it's a riwaaz for them, i suppose 😆 Anyway wat v all thought didn happen but dev ate saltless food without even recognising it or he didn bother much. It's like eating for jst to live. Dev's life is also saltless but usse koi farq nahi padtaa. Halwa toh re entry maari but it didn had that impact it used to hav b4. Saare mehnath bekaar !! Koi farq nahi pada.

Dev is still the same as he still finds temporary solution for a problem. Office is locked..fine ..thaala thodte hain..yeahh v'll also do the same thing . But hre the situation is a lil different. Keys r with sonakshi, that's irking him . Y & how the keys landed with sonakshi, nobody bothers. Dev expected sona to call for help ...that too begging for help ? No wayyy.. She's fiery bengali tigress ! Don u dare under estimate u'r ex wife ever again, dev. Btw, sona shouted dev , nt Mr. Dixit wen she saw him trying to break the lock.

Illegal sale of the mobile phones..yes since vicky is the so called CEO, expect this or even worse but dev seems oblivious to vicky's motives. Instead he's blaming sonakshi for informing income tax dept.as it'll spoil his company's reputation ." Yeh tumne acha nahi kiya, Ms Bose ". How i wish to hear dev saying "pehle ki tarah , har samay tum sahi dhe, Ms Bose' ..But waqt ne kiya, kya haseen sitam !! Vicky will sink u'r company, dev . Get rid of that mother-son duo from u'r life asap.

P.S.I think it's high time that ishwari shud realise that she too is nt perfect. She said while givng food to dev that jaise mein bana sakti hu, vaisa aur koi nahi bana sakta but wat hapnd actually ? She forgot to add salt. So galtiya sabhi se hota hai but v need to accept it & face the reality . Btw, wen dev said that he luvs his work & nobody else can do wat he's doing for his office, vicky's face was worth watching .

I didn get the co-existence idea of dev sona offices esp both r supposed to b nt in good terms, with no separate locks @ least for dev's cabin or he didn lock it as he's this much careless ?? 😕 Tashan is nt gonna end anytime soon, it seems .

Not going to get into whether Sonakshi was right or not today to tip off the IT dept.

But what I realized is that, both Vicky and Mamiji made a huge error 7 years earlier in thinking that there problems would be gone if Sona was out of the picture. This definitely was an oversight. Things were fine for the mother-son duo as long as Dev-Sona remained together. Why? Because despite whatever disagreements they had, they were willing to agree to disagree for most part, let everyone else walk over them and just stay happy in their own world. Obviously, no one else realized this. The last 7 years that the mother-son duo enjoyed were nothing as there was never any secure foundation to hold their castle. Just a lot of illusions. Karma truly does wonders! 😆

I have my share of issues n frustrations with the show , but today was just bizzare, because 1) why did sona go to authorities instead of speaking with her lawyer? 2) leads to my biggest Q why is sona putting up with Dev, since she had claimed to be over her marriage and now hasSoha? Her look on previous epi suggests she wants to keep her a secret from Dev, so why stay in that office beyond what's best for her daughter/family? Ofc, now I know it's a show, but I think we are long overdue a monologue from sona about her thoughts, showing audience some light to her actions

Someone here beautifully pointed out sona 2.0 isDev 1.0, and rightfully hit the nail on the head. She too has started to lie "for the benefit of her family" aka kit disclose fight, being locked up in office, etc... maybe they are leading to the fact that makers want to show via sona how Dev felt shouldering his mom, her thoughts, her demands expectations ?
