Dev knows for sure that what he has done is wrong, else he wouldn't tell Golu,"Mujhe bhi koi daat padne wala hain!" He is thinking this is all a game for him, as he doesn't know about his little one waiting for Sonakshi at home!! When Suhana unfolds and the father-daughter meeting happens, all these incidents would be in FB mode for Dev to regret.

No Rekha, the tone and the leering look Dev used clearly said that he was talking about her character.
But The point here is that when you are willing to hit below the best, be ready to take a hit below the belt yourself also.
If a woman is entitled to call a guy spineless in public, she shouldn't complain on being called characterless in private.
Just because you are a woman, whatever you say was justified and you had sufficient provocation and whatever a man says after that showcases his mcpgiri is pseudo feminism at its best.
Why can't a man repay a woman in the same coin?
The best part is the CVS showed Sona behaving very appropriately and giving the answer to Dev's comments in a very appropriate manner.
It's only the viewers which are getting hyper. But then when has this not been the case? Sonakshi fires a guy for one mistake- she is professional and strong. Dev fires the watchman - he is heartless.
Why can't we use the same yardstick for comparison? Why are there always ifs and buts for the female lead and hang him for the male lead?
Is this equality of gender?
When will we categorise wrongs and rights basis the deed and not the gender?
Let me explain where I am coming from. The dialogue said by Sonakshi before this comment by Dev. She said something to the tune of "Tum hum sabko chor keh rahe ho?" And he replies that "Aajkal kisi par bhi bharosa nahin kiya jaa sakhta!" Then the seemingly controversial dialogue was made - Hinting that she can also steal the important papers from his office and snatch his deals. She gave back in similar fashion with the same connotations. So was she also hinting at Dev's character? Not at all. I don't think its right to dissect a dialogue in isolation. Regarding his brooding looks, he has been that way since the Leap. He has only a one-point agenda - to ensure that Sonakshi returns this office to him.
For me as a viewer these things don't matter. Dev and Sonakshi are not my relatives or neighbours or friends. As you have rightly said, viewers are just wasting their time getting hyper!!!! Tomorrow, if the Creatives decide to change the script, both of them could be in each others arms or one of them could get killed!!!!!! Nobody knows. Enjoi the show. That's all.
