Exactly. He has a boo boo. So we should forget what he did. 🤢

i said this earlier.. dev is seriously trying to move on and is not suffering in sonakshi's memories like some claim he is.. but yes sonakshi appearing in front of him definitely disturbs him but he is not feeling any remorse for what he could have done to save the relationship.
Cvs do this again .. they show contrast .. they show both how to put a kid on wrong path and also show how parenting should actually be done .. 👏

Hi Five... Yes, that was an eye opener for sure. 👏

Ps: everyone pls take it easy on the kid . Not all kids are the same. But they are kids and all kids are beautiful and lovable. I would not compare any two kids..by looks or their voice .. i love soha

Yes, I agree. Let's all stick to the characters and not the actors. Most specifically the children.

If you look at any literature on bullying, the suggestion is to always avoid getting physical. Stand up to a bully but never retaliate with violence. What that does is create a greater atmosphere for violence and there is risk of serious injury to both parties.

Firstly, I don't think we can really compare Dev and Golu vs Sona and Soha. Dev is not Golu's primary caregiver and nor is he expected to be.

Dev's advice to Golu was very general to stand up for himself against a bossy girl. He's just giving a bit of confidence and love to a love starved child. Dev never said to hit someone if someone is bothering him.

I so agree, the director needs to polish Soha's dialogue delivery. Golu seems to be a born actor.

What if Sonakshi after being treated like trash by Dev committed suicide, tab?
What if the stress from pre-nup, debt and her own heartbreak caused her to have a miscarriage, tab?

What if the advice Dev gave Golu that "Girls should not exist", "Boys ka naam mat katana" and "Teach her a lesson" made Golu push Soha in front of a bus, tab?

Sonakshi said, "AGAR school mein koi bhi boy pareshan kare, to usse zor se push karna." Which is reactive. First the boy has to trouble her. Then she will retaliate. Not just walk up to any boy and push him.

When Radha tells Vicky, "Teach Elena a lesson.", we called her an evil person.

When Dev tells a 6 year old Golu to teach a 6 year old girl a lesson otherwise "Boys ki naak kat jayegi", tab?

Yep. Golu could have been like Soha, independent, respectful, smart - if Elena handed him over to Sonakshi away from Dixit madness.

Oh great. So season 1 they showed Dev bullying Sonakshi. Season 2 they are showing Golu bullying Soha. Upbringing talks louder than blood. It shows.

Disgusting 🤢

Yep. Because then we'd have all wished Ishwari to be the first to go and then no MCP to tolerate. 😆

Doc, don't bother. Don't you know when Dev gives the same advice Radha gave Vicky, that advice becomes valid? Do you recall Radha telling Vicky to teach Elena a lesson and "naak mat katana"? But then she is not a hot, rich dude.

But the context of the conversation matters.

Radha telling Vicky is clearly with an intent of harming Elena in the long run.

Golu started a conversation with Dev about a bossy girl. As far as Dev knows Golu may be the one being bullied. So he's telling her to stand up against a bossy girl.

Sorry to budge in between but the same can be applied to Sona as well right? Coz she clearly said that IF Soha is being bullied, that's when she should push! As Tia said, a reactive response! More like standing up. She didn't tell Soha to go hit every guy in her class just because he is a guy. Her clear sentence was, if you are being bullied, then react (stand up for yourself)!

Of course if you are being bullied stand up for yourself. That part of what Sona's intentions were was perfectly fine. But I don't think you can say telling Soha to outright push a boy if he is bothering her was the right thing to say. If you look up any article on bullying. They all say avoid getting physical. Not only is it dangerous for both parties it doesn't deescalate the situation.

Both Dev and Sona had similar responses which I was fine with. I am not saying Sona's a bad parent because of that or anything. But if I were trying to show Sona as significantly different or better than Dev than that line wouldn't have been included.

The show that I'm watching is that Dev and Sona are actually being shown very similarly. The writers are making a point of putting them in very similar situations and showing them react very similarly. I don't think they are trying to make one person significantly worse than the other. They are both good people but aren't perfect.
