The way Sona manages her daughter and the interior designer was again a layered scene for me. Suhana asks jam and Sona says butter and in the end both agrees for both. ( Will support each other needs without sacrificing their owns 👏 ) Or am thinking too much and its just a scene a show how fluently Sona manages as a working Single mother 😆

Me think it was to show Sona's multitasking skills. Because frankly, I don't think the writers and CVs think as much as WE think, dissect and analyse about these characters and scenes. They direct, edit and go through everything before telecasting, yet we manage to find bloopers.. yun chutki mein. 😆

Dev at his house (I won't call it home because I don't think he sees it as one) was very well shot and executed. The difference in his behaviour and attitude was subtle, yet obvious. He wasn't openly disrespectful or rude to anyone. But that cynical indifference... not sure if it is penetrating the thick hides of RR and Vicky but it sure is hitting Ishwari big time.

This is what I felt last night after watching Dev - Ishwari scene

With a whole new twist... which I see happening.. Dev will be his own boss! All decisions will be his and Sonakshi's-this is going to be such a roller coaster ride!

Ps: Ofcourse you can call me Deepu 🤗

I am guessing its going that way Deepu 😃

This story is no longer about a insecure Maa becoming a good MIL. Looks like its going to be about a estranged couple becoming responsible parents .

Ishwari is in an empty dark space , we could see that , but Dev seems to be at peace , atleast with everyone else , when he said evenif everyone think he's aimless , he is happy , somehow I do believe him , I think he is over trying to put everyone's happiness over his . I was waiting for his interaction with Ishwari and Sona . Because these two are the ones whom he cared the most , and he thought hurt him the most . Yet he was so indifferent and aloof with one and and I'm curious for Sona-Dev meeting now !!! I had put my thoughts on here https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/kuch-rang-pyar-ke-aise-bhi/4788688/rising-from-the-ashes !!!!

Never do that mistake again😆 This is just a fiction fired for entertainment. With the speed the episodes are flowing , am sure we will get our answers pretty soon to clear all confusion about Dev babu😆 Running right away..how did I miss your post?😲
"Responded "😛 Beautiful write up btw 👏

@deepsel : Nice post. Reproducing what I wrote in the weekly thread.

------
I was all set to write a weekly analysis from next week, but couldn't resist. Smile The highlight of the episode was the Dev-Ishwari conversation. As posted by few writers here, there was complete indifference on the part of Dev. He came to see his mother not as a ritual, but as a formality. Gone is the Dev who discussed everything with his 'Maa', touched her feet before leaving her and smiled and talked to her, kept his head on her lap - I felt sad seeing Ishwari's face. She was waiting anxiously for 'her Dev'. She knows he is lost somewhere and that's why Sonakshi's name was brought into the conversation. She wanted to see him react. She wanted to see her old Dev who smiled and showed feelings. This Dev was playing a robot. Come and Go. A mere formality. That's all. Forgiveness is divine. Dev was always aware of his mothers possessiveness and expected Sonakshi to understand it too. She did. But not for long! Dev lied to see the two most important people in his life loving each other and living in harmony. It was an illusion. He should have told her the truth about everything, confided in her and they could have managed Ishwari so well. But, that's the past.

The second highlight was the meeting of Dev-Sonakshi. Sonakshi won an award but the moment Dev walked in, all the reporters with their cameras rushed to him for a byte. She was well dressed and he wore smart casuals drinking merrily. But, the pull of media towards him said it all. He was still famous. He still ruled - even after 7 years. The arresting look on his face as he faced Sonakshi, did it say, 'hey look at me.' I played the song "Against all odds" by Phil Collins in my head. The actors were brilliant here.

Dev appeared to know about Sonakshi coming to collect the award. He knows to stalk, audience has seen it before, is he still keeping tabs on her? Why? What for? Does he know about Suhani and gave her up w/out a fight? Does he want Sonakshi to come to him and confess about their child? Is he still confident that Sonakshi can love on one else? I don't know what is the Creatives story. Big smile

Sonakshi has got the house back and plans to renovate it. It's evident that she hasn't let go of her past. Why? Is it only because her childhood memories still exits there or Bijoy had bought the house with a lot of Love and effort? Or is it because the house is located very close to the Dixit Mansion?

So, while some forumites are still indulging in painting the leads differently, I want to watch with a clean slate. Bijoy's anger in the previous episode triggered a thought that probably he would regret the outburst on Ishwari. He went down on his knees and apologised to Suhani. Well, I leave it there.

Interesting episodes ahead, I must say.

Edits : Actually, Elena behaviour is still a mystery to me. Vicky is not having all the shots at Ishwari Enterprises. Dev is still the boss. So, does Dev know what Vicky did that night? Has Dev chosen to ignore it and forgive Vicky? A lot is to revealed.
The smirk on Dev's face during the pre-cap is also a mystery. Sonakshi and Saurabh (presumably) builds a 400 crore empire in 7 years!! This was after taking a 5 crore loan mortgaging all their assets! I was waiting for this to be played out. The interest on a 5 crore loan assuming it to be for 15 years would be huge EMIs. And Sonsakshi only has a job as a nutritionist to pay the interest. Since she hasn't lost her home, I have to assume that she got investors to invest in her start up. Did Dev play the goodwill ambassador here and did she manage to get funds as Dev-Sonakshi marriage was well publicised. Not to undermine her hard work and intelligence, but in today's market, when all your assets are mortgaged and you only have a salary to hang on to, the logic of a 400 crore empire is very hard to digest- esp after retaining her assets, all in 7 years time! Well, makes me realise its a soap after all and did Dev contribute to her success by pledging his company!!!

Hehe I know am lost case then😆 Mysteries and layered scenes just intrigue me to core. After watching this episode I felt every scene had some hidden meaning..Poor CVs they got a really intellect group of fandom to please then😆

Definitely well shot !! The BGM and Shaheer's acting just added that eerie cryptic feel to those scenes ! I am just very glad GKB and Vicky getting back because I detested these two characters to core and when their crookedness won in the end, I was furious. Ab thodi thandak mili😆 Waiting for Ishu Maa's meltdown soon😉

Read and responded 😉

@Danseuse- There are many rags to riches story. Dev himself is one. I am assuming the family toiled hard together and pulled each other out.

Sonakshi's success does not surprise me. She was initially introduced as an intelligent girl who excelled in studies. If she puts her heart in business, she can do it too. Plus she had educated supportive parents , a fiery will to succeed, and most importantly having no funds ...is a need . The last she heard from Dev was she is a gold digger, if that would not have stemmed a desire to succeed in her, she is not heroine enough to be written stories about...

Deepa- Nice post.
Don't mind but I am waiting for Dev to create a nuisance so I can pounce on him...he he...

BTW, I could not make head or tails of Dev-Ish conversation. also tad bit disappointed ki breakup nai hua.

The list of things that Dev should have and could have done is pretty long Rekha. 😆

I don't think he can stay away from his daughter. Unless the makers decide to completely deviate from his character, I don't see that happening. But we already know what CVs are capable of so I won't take any bets against anything

Is it only because her childhood memories still exits there or Bijoy had bought the house with a lot of Love and effort? Or is it because the house is located very close to the Dixit Mansion?

I think it's more than the house holding childhood memories. And I don't think it's because it's close to Dixit Mansion. They were kicked out of that house. HER house. This is her way of getting it back and proving something to herself and to one Mr Devrath Dixit. This is her reply to his - how will you earn so much money? By selling soup? (I don't remember his exact dialogue but it was some mocking comment to that effect) Agreed that it was probably his concern prompting him to say all those things but they were still uncalled for and hurt her big time.
