Hello folks,
And I am back again with today's episode analysis of mine. And I will keep it short this time unlike my last analysis.
So, lets shoot.
Bose's
Well, it was predicted in the forum that Soha might be playing a prank by someone yesterday. And it was the same. Reminded of few of those scenes where Dev & Sona used to do the same with each other & end it like "Sochiye agar me aisi/aisa biwi/pati hoti/hota to". Sona repeated the same replacing beti with the biwi/pati words here. And that reminded Sona of Dev.
Sona had been deeply hurt but as they say wounds don't heal with time but we learn to live with them as a part of ourselves & stop getting affected by them deeply. We all have a past & that past haunts us most of the times. Memories remain but we learn to sustain ourselves with them in our lives. So here Sona saying that Dixits won't affect her now shows that she will not let her life be controlled or affected by them anymore though a part of her will never forget what they have done to her.
Now Asha reminding Bijoy of Sona's childhood incidence. This show how a parent must do the upbringing of their children. Children must be prepared to fight in this world from the right age & with right guidance rather than pampering them always & being over-protective. Over pampering & over-protectiveness does nothing but makes the child under-confident & dependent for everything on others. And Sona wants Soha to fight her battles by leading them herself while Sona will provide the much needed support & back her whenever needed.
And here most of the people here were complaining about Soha's dialog delivery. But I think the child is naturally herself. My 8-years old brother can speak with that much clarity & I have to put force on to understand what he wants to say sometimes & same goes with the older kids too. Some have clear accent while some of their age do not. And I won't compare them with other kids on the TV as they are shown to be out way very highly trained. She might however need sometime to get along. Even Sona's dialog used to be inaudible sometimes in Season 1, so I think Soha has got Sona's trait here.
Soha mentioned Mamu today, so I hope I get to see Sourav dada in near future. I like Sona-Dada bonding.
Now coming to the most awaited scenes of what Dev has become post leap?
So, well he has turned into a flirt & uses the looks charm to get things done in his own way. Like a true businessman he still has got this making Public relations thing.
He provides the needed love to Golu which the child should get from his parents & also the positivity to him. While typical Dixits can give him negativity esp GKB as that's her work.
Dev is a pampering Guardian to Golu here.
Now coming to Golu coming home, well Dixit house has got all things the same. GKB is filling the child with negativity about Sona & I wonder how did Elena take that right in front of her. I am disappointed with how her character turned. Ishwari is mum as usual & doesn't wish to shut GKB up whenever it comes to Sona & Dev together.
Now Dev in office,
How badly I wanted to see that. CVs have kept a minute detail of everything here. Dev still is a businessman but has shed off his formal attire & formal ways of handling business and I loved how he gave a piece of mind to Vicki by stating "Dev Dixit jesa suit phnne se koi Dev Dixit jesa businessman nhi ban jata". Vicki is still intimidated by Dev which is the highlight of the episode. I hope GKB has the same fear in her mind. Dev is still the boss & has everything under his sole control. This Dev doesn't allow anyone to poke their nose in his work not even his family & gives a clear damn to those who try to do it intentionally.
Now coming to Dev getting to know of Sonakshi being the award winner & deciding to attend the ceremony. So, Dev is completely aware of Sona's whereabouts for all these years. They both not have seen or contacted each other but they are aware of each other's existence & presence. And unlike other shows where the names are changed, the name still comes as Dr. Sonakshi Bose striking Dev's mind. The two have decided to stay away from each other maintaining the dignity of their choices made years back.
Dev & Sona have decided to put aside their personnel differences & come up face to face on professional grounds. I think they will meet actually in the award ceremony where Dev will go onto congratulate Sona & the Dixits will be watching that ceremony on TV. Even here all of them might come to know of Soha as Sona might mention her as credit to her success in her winning speech. And she might not be in any mood to hide the existence of her daughter now from the whole world. I want to see this thing badly.
And the precap shows the first hit-miss of Devakshi.
The judgement time-
Overall the episode was good. Yesterday was Sona's episode while today was Dev's episode.
After watching Dev today, I can say that he is still the Devrath Dixit, but a man without the emotional & fake family ties. He has come to know of everyone's real face at the end of Season 1, his mother, GKB, Vicki & everyone & one thing he is doing is to live only for himself now. He keeps everyone intimdated with his decisions & his cool attitude is actually a danger sign to the residents of the Dixit family.
My father tells me that "A Person who can mask his/her anger & insult with a smile or cool attitude on the face is the most dangerous person in the world & must always be feared of his unpredictable actions."
Dev is the same here. He has masked all his anger & hurt with a casanovic attitude on his face. And this mask will only be unveiled when Sonakshi enters this new frame or his own daughter & even Golu does that.
Dev can be labelled as the "Nicest devil in disguise" with no ill-intentions for anyone, but dare you play with him & he will show you your real place.
CVs have done a great job in not trying to make the story dramatic in any sense & keep it real in every sense.
And the rant is over. Again a long post but once I start typing I cant stop until my mind has finished up throwing any more thoughts.
