my first post in this forum... i have been a silent reader and watcher since devakshi's marriage
why i watch this stupid saas bahu serial is because it is closest to reality/..

first the reality of falling in love (which i didnt watch)
reality of wanting to get married to your love
then having married that love, adjustment issues

finally the challange of staying together when families oppose the relationship...

i hope no one in the world gets a mother in law like ishwari..she does not fight or taunt but she is the real villain... i can't believe i am being made to hate one of my favorite actresses supriya pathak just becauses of this one psycho character..

devkashi break up was a very sad event..showing us that the world prevails in fight against two lovers who only think from the heart..

try marring someone your family does not like in real life..the same things will happen

i too feel bad for dev that his cousin cheated him and his own family was after him to break his home...yaaar aisi family ho toh dushman ki kya zaroorat...

and even his own wife failed to be patient and understanding with him...

honestly for me this is where kuch rang should end because in reality... love stories end here

Hi di, I am Aishu! I also agree with your thoughts. From the beginning of the show, I loved Dev's character, because in all honesty I want to be like Sona but I am a Dev. Every action of his spoke volumes to me and my flaws. Through this show and my college major counselling I realized that people like me want to find solutions to problems not even present explicitly. We fail to see the underlying issue, if the superficial problem is solved kaam kahtam! Not only that people of my character tend to forget the appreciation of others work or emotions. (If I could I would attach the whole analysis of people of this character and what jobs they should take). But long story short we are: introverted, intuitive, thinking, judging, have competence and is independent and expects perfection. The problem with Dev and me is the fact we seem to have a hard shell but are really vulnerable in the inside, this point is what people use to manipulate us. The fact is even if he wanted to talk back to his mother, he could not have. Vikky told GKB to not trash talk Elina as even GKB doesn't do emotional attiyachar. In many aspects of my own life, my mother dictated, when I went back to think my decision all I remember is that dictation and I slowly adapt that as my passion. More than Sona, Dev lives in a fairy tale, he believed that through marriage and a kid they will be one happy family. But if he had stopped and thought about the emotional mixtures of this marriage, things would not have gotten this bad.

Sona and family gave him much less for his conduct. Divorce can happen in that one slap accidental or intentional. Common slapping an elderly man that too ur FIL, speaks about his respect for wife and in laws.

Please point me times when he actually had become Sona husband not mama boy cause I do not remember a single incident. If shouting at Ranveer and Vicky is what ur talking about , Ranveer he already was mad for dumping his sister and wanted an excuse to should at him.vicky he is just tolerating for his mama.

Ish kept quiet & let Dev believe Sona pushed her actually. She could have said its a mistake and for sure Dev would have calmed down and not asked Sona to get out. Before leaving Sona did ask Dev if he really wanted her to leave and he again told her the same thing. She left; neither Dev nor Sona stopped her.

Why is Dev so weak; why does he always need alcohol?? Ok agree Vicky made him drink..

Ishwari knew Dev was drunk & not in his senses yet she found this as an opportunity to put conditions infront of him and ask him to get Sona sign on pre nup.. Ishwari could have waited for next morning to meet Dev or inform Sona about his whereabout. She desperately wanted them to separate.

Dev decided to stay with Sona; he did confessed it but at time it was too late. Sona was angry, she was told Dev sealed her house, Dev prepared & sign pre nup; Dev doesn't want to talk to her.

Vicky & Ishwari had set a web for Devakshi & they got entangled in it.

I am saying ll the time that why do ppl only blameing dev fr all this chaos.we know his charachter .and so r sona's as well..what ever hppened was a trap fr devakshi.and sona dev both fell in it withouut understanding each other.My point is dev is not always wrong.neither he is the only one who is at fault.if dev didnt stop sona or tell her leave thn sona also dint trust him or listen to his explanation.in all this they both made mistakes.above all vikky and ish played out the evil game .but all are just blaming Only one person that is dev..who is actully betryed by his god.by his family.and i can't stand that.dev did mistakes and i never deny that.but he did so many things fr sona as well and that has been always ignored.
