That is precisely why mamiji is so hell bent on eliminating her as a threat.

I had assumed that by now she made peace with Sona's presence because technically sona had left Dev and Ishwari to their own devices as far as money matters were concerned. However, this new revelation around 5 crores has mamiji-sona battle back on the front burner.

Since Dev has always thrown money at problems, he doesn't consider mamiji and her needs an issue at all. They go away as soon as he gives them money.

It's mamiji like you said who in her own insecurity does these vicious things

It's funny though, like you said, nobody seems to be bothered that Dev, the income source they are all fighting over, has to be alive and well for the cash to keep flowing in. Everyone except Sona seems to be intent on pulverising him and extracting all the juice. His dialogue to Bijoy about how Sona was not just the former's daughter but also his wife really summed it up. Everyone else can take sides pretty easily, but not Dev, and that reality is just about killing him.
Bingo. Only Asha realises this. And perhaps Sourabh and mamaji.

This is where Bijoy went so wrong yesterday. Ishwari didnt say anything to him till he started bad mouthing Dev. He went from Dev babu to Dev. Again that's fine. However, when he started blaming Dev for trying to trick them into getting them under his thumb is when Ishwari lost it. Mamiji is clever that way.
Everyone is speculating about how he will pacify Bijoy and Sona, but I am more immediately curious about what will go down in Ishwari Nivas once the Boses leave. Will Dev come back with the same desperation to pacify Ishwari, or now that his blissful equilibruim with Sona is smashed, will he be more preoccupied with that? Will he collapse under the weight of all of this or will he lash outi? Will Elena reveal that it was her dear MIL who revealed both the pregnancy truth, and the news about the money to Ishwari?
Exactly... I have so many questions in my mind now. Because unlike last time where he didn't know what it's like to be without Sona, this time he knows what it feels like and he doesn't like that feeling. It kills him. Which is why last time he was able to break that relation in jiffy and repent later.
This time, unless Ishwari again presents him with a medical emergency (in which case his choice will be obvious like the mandir scenario), he has to choose between placating Ishwari and snapping her our of the downward spiral vs rushing off to the Boses.

Elena needs to play a role. It's confusing how she stood like a statue while she was so vocal in ishwari's bedroom

I have been thinking on the slap. Have some thoughts but want to share after watching a few more episodes
So many questions! 😆

Apropos shirtless Dev, am I the only one who found it hilarious that he was wrapped in a bedsheet right upto his chest??😆 I mean if you're going to go bold, then go bold. Never seen a bedroom scene with a man clutching a sheet to his chest to protect his modesty!!

bechare ki izzat ka sawal hai.. Yes I found it very jananiya too.. 😆 Mind you he had worn a ladies shawl before while his mother ironed his shirt.

Perhaps *they* were trying to keep the content modest for TV... I cant make up my mind on the whole sequence. Have stopped thinking about it.

I am more worried about Friday the 13th now

@bold: Even in the mandir scenario, Dev had the assurance that Sona wasn't going anywhere. The two had already had their moment of reconciliation in the room the previous night, when we had Dev agreed to inform Ishwari in the morning and they commiserated silently over their mutual loss. By the time morning came, and Ishwari was missing, Sona was no longer a flight risk so he had the luxury of focusing entirely on Ishwari with her support. That is not the case here since for the first time, both Sona and Ishwari are equally upset at exactly the same time. His behaviour is the root cause in both cases, and both scenarios demand urgent attention.

The slap seems to have brought us back to the precipice of the break-up, only this time, with Dev well aware of just how much Sona means to him. I can't wait to see how he reacts differently or not this time.

Was on the phone so typed a rushed response.. The Mandir scenario I was referring to was the condition that Ishwari put to him. I dont think he had any choice but agree and first bring her home and then have a sit-down and think. But sit-down and think Dev doesnt do

The slap - well, I think contrary to the forum's thoughts, the slap was needed. It needed to be something that takes Sonakshi to the point of no return and jolts Asha and Saurabh. It needed to be something that when she is fair, even Ishwari would condone. mamiji herself was shocked yesterday. It remains to be seen how the next few days pan out because like you even I am curious to see Dev's reaction. For some reason, everyone else's response will be pretty much as expected

To be honest this is turning point in the story... very eager to see how Dev is going to balance this now!

2 points keep coming to my mind...
1. When Dev tells Bijoy that Sonakshi is not only your daughter but his wife now ..and I know my responsibilities towards her!

2. In the car he says we should work together as a team... and makes a promise once again!

I want see how Dev handle this now... he needs to earn back the forgiveness... and prove it!

So guys I'm very curious as to how this is all going to shape up.. everything is up to to him!!!

After watching today's episode... I feel communication is very key!

Both are going through turmoil... Dev calling Sonakshi many times to ask if anything he can do from his side... BR]
As I think a couple's understanding gets stronger when they handle problems together and are on the same page...but this is as Dev said... when we're alone, we're together... they are not on the same page...

but in this case .. its justified she's doing this for her father and their respect! I would too.. the first thing to do is give the money back ... so Sonakshi you are amazing!! ...

How is going to get resolved... ego now is coming into play !

That's it. Communication especially post patch up has been their biggest weak point. Not only among themselves but also with their families. And mis communication is what has led to slapgate.

Sonakshi, elena and saurabh as son and daughters really disappointed me. Dev is a far better son than all of them put together. Why can't they pull the money out of the business and return the money to Ishwari communications.

And like you said, it's about ego now. But I also noticed something today. It was important for dev to slap Bijoy for this story to move forward. Sonakshi even tolerated insults from mamiji and Ishwari to Bijoy. But when Dev did it she couldn't take it anymore. And because Bijoy was slapped, Asha and saurabh couldn't help but start a war. A yuddh like mamiji predicted.

My focus was on Sona's dress in this more...She was in Dev's shirt...That was very hot instead Dev was shirtless. And finger bite was icing on the cake.
