I would have never stood by watching RR insult and my MIL quiet and hubby oblivious😡 She needed to shuttup RR as she has done in the past. But, I am glad she stood up for her dad and reminded maatrbhakt Dev that Bijoy was her father👏
same goes for "suddenly dumb" elena who stood by and watched her MIL, the same one she has shuttup many times, bark like a dog at her family. and even watched when Ishwari supported RR against Bijoy, prior to Devakshi walking in.

Thanks for bumping it Tinkerfairy. I had promised a response after I watch the scene.
I would have walked out with my parents. Sent a cheque back to Ishwari communications. Informed my husband he should not come to see my parents and leave us alone for a few days. But, I wouldn't have let it happen. Let alone fix the problem. I wouldn't let me dad yell like that. Bijoy is an old man with his own set of illnesses. I would have asked him and RR to calm down. I would have asked vicky and elena to take mamiji away while my husband and I deal with it

Dev's arm swing was intentional. The slap wasn't. Doesn't matter. The anger itself is hurtful let alone the action

Unless my husband and his mother both don't apologise to my dad for their behaviour I wouldn't have returned to that house.

Her biggest mistake is she let RR and MIL and husband insult his family .i would have stopped them right there."thappad" tak baat hi nahi aati🤢

you are right .Both sona and dev are equally responsible for it.But I don't blame bijoy for yelling so much.i guess its totally justified from his side ,they were calling his family theives. But raising hand no matter what issue is are unjustified.

I am not blaming him for yelling. I wouldn't let an elderly person yell like that for their health reasons.

Also, after watching the scene, dev and sona didn't act sensibly. and i think that's where there romance angle comes. They were in a different zone and it took them time to switch context.

Overall I am happy the showdown happened. How long can they pretend to like each other. Also waiting to see Elena's response. More than Ishwari, vicky's mother insulted her maisho today

I am not supporting anyone ...just trying to put across my point...
Imagine it happens the other way...your father slapped your husband...would you react the same way that you will separate from your father and won't see your father again in your lifetime ?

People talk of separation with husband because there is a way called divorce...But do we think the same way with mother & father? I don't think so , anyone can think of separating himself / herself from parents...

For me , Husband also holds the same position as a mother / father in one's life and sometimes may be more...

So, If you ask me , I will surely be hurt and angry if any of such thing happens and will demand a sincere apology from my husband till my father is convinced and ready to forgive him for his mistake. Until then, Of course I will not be happy with my husband too...but Divorce , hmmm surely No.
