I would most probably leave the house and ask for divorce. This is just me! I have problem talking to my dad's relatives because they insult him and doesnt respect him. My heart will never be clean for them again. I know its a bad habit but I forgive but I cant forget it when someone insults me or parents. It will always be there at the back of my head.

I am not going to justify the slap. Dev committed a blunder.
1.for parents like bijoy out there I would just say one thing. If u ever have doubts abt the welfare if ur daughter, NEVER let ur princess marry such a man.
2. You may be worried to death but never intervene between the spouses. What bijoy speaks may be the truth but what asha asked is also relevant. In what way does bijoys preaching lessen the turmoil of sona?
3. If ishwari is creating scene where time and again dev is being made to chose between her and sona Bijoy too is no less. He is pushing sona to chose between him and dev. EK OBSESSIVE hai to dusra over protective hai. Both are injurious.

All in all I feel insab mein devakshi ka pyaar kuchal raha hai. The couple are so engrossed in fighting out daily battles and putting out the bush fires that they have no time and energy left for themselves.

I would slap Dev too and leave the house demanding full rights with a divorce. There is no need for physical violence or slapping. I am a big believer in "there is always another way" and in this situation also Dev had no right to slap Bijoy.

I understand that Bijoy just walks in all the time and throws insults at his family but at the end of the day he is doing it all for his daughter. He is the only one in the Bose family atm that is talking sense whether we like him or not.

Well since I am no Sona, none of this would have ever happened but keeping that fact aside, it sure as hell won't be standing shell shocked like Sona or running away as it appears in the video. One instant tight slap served with a good dose of verbal slap that will sure cause burning pain followed by informing him about the divorce papers he'll be getting soon.

I don't why cvs pulled down Devs charachter so low for Sona to take some obvious action ( which from past actions doesn't look likely).
I don't know where the cvs are going with this show but it's depressing to watch. Even the romance looks so fake. Feel so bad in invested so much time on this show.

Coming to your question if my husband slapped my dad I really think that would be the end of the relationship. What would stop him from slapping me tomorrow.

But seeing recent events every action of Dev & ish is brushed aside quickly by Sona & I don't empathize with her anymore. Everyone's self respect is in their hands & if she chooses to sacrifice at the altar of a selfish love I don't think anybody can help her.

By the way I have seen strong women behave this way so I am not surprised. They are ready to do anything for their man so I am not surprised by Sona.

I hope (been hoping for a long time for some growth in the characters but there has been only regression & as a viewer it is depressing!
