Separation seriously?????????????????

I am flabbergasted at the response for yesterday's episode in the forum...Seriously...I don't understand what crime Dev has committed that he is been bashed outrageously...common guys...already a few have written why his response to Bijoy is correct so I don't want to reiterate what they have said. Just would like to add one point there. I find Dev very rational and any sane human being would have behaved in the same manner with Bijoy. Let me share my personal experience here. I have always made it very clear to my in-laws as well as my husband that they can love me, hate me, squawk with me but when it comes to my family a big NO...I will be a tigress then...anything disrespectful towards my family I can't stand it...pl go back and watch what Dev said...he has been very careful with his words... Let Bijoy also understand how it feels when you are at the receiving end.

I love sonakshi's character though I can't relate to her. I wouldn't have done many things which she has done for Dev's family when she was his employee, lover and now wife. It's all beyond my comprehension. As an employee she shouldn't have listened to the taunts of GKB and Ishwari to some extent. As a lover also the same..she was brutally insulted by GKB and she just succumbed all of it without uttering a single word. If you all think she is independent why she needs Dev's support. She should stand for herself. It's our prerogative that how we wants to be treated by others. If others are treating us like dirt and we don't protest then we are accepting that we are dirt. Except in Riya's case, whatever sonakshi did in the Dixit family was with a hidden agenda...she wants to be accepted by one and all. Why? If you are sooo good as time passes people see your virtues and they will keep you at the high pedestal that you deserve. You can't forcefully fit into that position which is exactly what sonakshi was doing. She should have silenced GKB from the beginning.. When she passed a snide comment on GKB in front of all guest Dev didn't say anything she should have taken it as cue and put GKB in her place...why we expect Dev to support/defend his educated independent wife from an illieterate irrational GKB whom for him is non-existent?????

I am amazed at the request for separation and divorce...seriously...I feel if Sona divorces Dev for whatever has happened so far, then she will be spending rest of her life in agony and will be on a guilt trip for not utilizing rationally a wonderful life which she wasted without fighting. Just like what she did after initial separation... more than Dev she did injustice to Ritwik and his family...More than Dev it's sonakshi who is responsible for her current plight...she has allowed someone to write her destiny...being an educated independent strong woman she shouldn't have allowed herself to be the puppet in the hands of many in the Dixit mansion...she should have been more assertive and vociferous and stood for her rights...if Dev objects that and accuses her then only Dev is wrong...you should fight for your rights shouldn't expect your husband to defend you if you proclaim to be independent

I like how you safeguard your family members against any abuses from your in-laws... how about the other way round?
Would you also safeguard your husband/ in-laws when your family does the same?
Dev screamed at Bijoy for his mother, why didn't he scream at GKB for hurling abuses at his wife? Why hasn't he ever told Vicky/mamaji to take away GKB like he told Asha to take away Bijoy?

You have admitted yourself that Sonakshi has outdone herself when it came to GKB, Ishwari's atrocities. Even Dev's unfairness so many times. Nothing has worked, so what is wrong with separation/divorce then? She tried a lot, and now if she would wants to pull out, why should she be in guilt?

Not everyone wants to fight out a battle at home, there is no guarantee that it would have worked. Sonakshi took the sacrificing route to please everyone - doesnt mean it was wrong because they failed to value her. There is no right or wrong way of doing things.

Sonakshi failed because people she trusted (Dev and Ishwari) failed her! Period. So please stop blaming her for her actions. She has been nice, but doesn't mean you screw her happiness time and again. It is easy to advocate how(s) and why(s), be a tigress etc. just because it worked for you, but that may backfire for someone else. There is no guarantee that it will work.

This is what Forum members are bashing Dev about - Be fair. Give same treatment to all. Stop being blind and think. And you don't need a prenup agreement to tell you about your mother's honesty, for God's sake!

you are elder doesn't give you the right to talk insane...this is what exactly happening to Bijoy...he has lost it cool..behaves immaturely in all situations...if you have observed that scene carefully when GKB said Bengali baba, dev's stern look silenced her...he has royally ignored GKB and her taunts..but for Bijoy no he resepcts Bijoy...he doesn't want Bijoy to droop to the level of GKB

In all of the above mentioned incidents she was desperately wanted to be accepted by all.. she doesn't beleive in vruths she adhered to many of Dixit's custom to be part of the family...it was totally unwarranted...she failed becuase her actions were not genuine..she always wanted to impress Ishwari...what was the need? in Dev's words why she need to win the Best bahu Pageant?

I disagree with you...you can be assertive without raising your voice...its your actions that will speak not the words...I feel sonalkshi has lost her importance in the family because she was interfering in everyone's life which was not called for...be yourself..give advise or help if it is asked for...in the Neha fiasco she has invited it... she doesn't know what transpired between NEha and Ranveer how can she be so sure that they are missing each other and its her universal responsibility to unite the lovers...she has lost her place in the family by overdoing and in quest for being accepted...I wouldn't have done it..but Sonakshi does it I am not against it...but then she has to suffer the consequences alone..why she should be supported by her husband who is a mute spectator in many of the happenings?

Because of fairness only I said I like Sonakshi but can't relate to her. I don't sympathise with Ishwari..can't say Dev is wrong in considering his mom as Bhagwan. When you love someone you become blindfolded...what's wrong if someone has blind love to his mother not his lover/wife? Dev loves his wife aslo but for him he and his mother are a team..how can 6 months love out-win 28 yrs...for that sonakshi has to win him which she has...if she leaves him now then I will consider she has left herself down by leaving the task unfinished...the world statistics show that out of 100 divorce cases 90% are initiated by woman...I am not surprised with the statistics reactions in the forum reiterate the statistics

Dear Drcs, just because I gave you a glimpse of Sonakshi attitude, doesnt mean you can pull off a GKB at me! Hahaha
You should fear for characters like Ishwari and GKB - they are more in need of lawyers for prenup to hound their sons for money and power getting insecure over sonakshi's of the world!
