** update here - http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4775926&TPN=3&#p139366118 **

The truth is out. To some. Mr Dixit's problems have actually now doubled. Earlier he had to stop outsiders from spilling the beans. Now some insiders know while others don't.

The story would have been very different had Sonakshi done a home test, had Dev not lied to Sonakshi and his family about the blood test, had Aayan spilled the beans, had Sonakshi asked to see her own reports. So on and so forth. I won't lie, I had expected Dev to tell Sonakshi and not for her to find out from an outsider and then for her to get a confirmation by herself sat in the car alone.

I will however choose to ignore that. Why? Because this isn't my story to tell and more importantly, as a 3rd umpire I can merrily comment on things but for reel and real Devakshis out there, such is life.

There is another problem - I am a hopeless romantic and I am always ready to overlook lovers' mistakes. And here is where I am aching. Aching for Dev. Aching for Sonakshi and scared for Devakshi.

That hug, that hug that happened in the front garden of Ishwari Niwas. That man who was running and chasing his wife outside his office. That man who got shouted at by his in laws in his front garden. That wife who was pushing her husband away. That husband who didn't take the numerous chances he had in the last 72 hours to speak up and led up to this. That mother who threw her adult son out of the house for him to wait near the watchman's cubbyhole. That daughter who asked her parents to leave her marital home and not create a scene - they all disappointed me - why - because they brought that moment on my television screen - Washing your dirty laundry in public. I am so disturbed by that. Who behaves like this?

Ishwari throws Dev out and expects that he will be sat outside waiting for his mother to call him in. Does she realise how many people know her son? He may be her ziddi, badtameez son. But he is also a public figure. And even if he is not, who does this in public for neighbours and street vendors and watchman to see?

Then Sonakshi storms in Dev's office - Man, the look on his face when he introduces his wife to the folks there. Sorry, back on topic. Now here, Dev you had the perfect opportunity to sort this fake pregnancy drama. You have Tina guarding the office. You finally said to yourself that morning that you will open up to mom and wifey. Were you waiting for the moment when they are both together before speaking the truth? Was that the reason you didn't sit Sonakshi down, calm her down and tell her the truth - the whole truth? -ve reports, fertility issues and the whole lot. That was perfect timing. She was angry, but you could have given her that awesome hug and sat her down there and then (in the privacy of your office where even mamiji cannot eavesdrop). Gosh, Dev... How much do you need to be pushed to the edge before you break your silence? What sort of a fear is this? What was the point of doing it all in your front garden? In your office, I think your wife would have eventually calmed down and listened to your side of the argument and worked out the next steps together. You really deserve the (rude) 'bhatija' treatment sometimes. I love you... I am such a big fan of the man you are and then you get so scared of hurting your loved ones, that you make stupid mistakes that not only hurt your loved ones, they even leave scars - like the one you and sonakshi carry from your breakup (Admit it, you haven't recovered from that one - you are forever scared of losing her).

PS: I absolutely loved the kakima angle. It's not how I had imagined this news to break. However, I like what the makers did there. Dev controlled all the known knowns. He himself then took Sonakshi to the person whose presence he hadn't factored into his (stupid) plan. Dear Dev, such are the ways of God/the supreme. This sub-track is interesting.

PPS: Someone give Sonakshi a makeover as well. Erica ke fans ne kisee ka kya bigada hai. Use bhi tambu se nikal ke regular kurte pehena do. and non greasy hair serum also please

PPS: The drama seeker in me is absolutely loving the scenes by Shaheer and Erica

Loved your write-up👏👏. Enjoyed it every bit.
It's the first time in my life that I can't hate someone who has done a grave mistake...I love Mr Dev Dixit... for me he is the awesomeness and perfection personified version of HUSBAND, SON, BROTHER,SIL,BIL and how can I forget LOVER...he is one of unique and rare creation of God...I am a no-nonsense kind of person but I am damn sure had it been me, I would have forgiven Dev for his mistakes as I know his hidden intentions and undisputed love and he has no qualms in showing it off...If I am sonakshi I wouldn't have allowed my father to react in the manner in which Bijoy retorted to Dev... it's highly unacceptable... He crossed all the boundaries though many may think it's a genuine reaction of a father who is hurt...inspite of his taunts Dev has always maintained good harmony in his relation with Bijoy and treated him with lots of reverence...This is exclusively my POV...I still believe sonakshi is the luckiest woman on earth to get Dev

It is such a gr8 chance for makers just concentrating on devakshi. .keeping eshwari part away. I just love to watchi ng sharica/devakshi. But for makers main lead is goddess eshwari. .so everything revolves around her. I feel so annoyed.
Yes..pls someone give sonakshi good costume and better wig..her dupatta is more irritating

Cleaning ur laundry in public or to disclose ur personal problems in front of outsiders is something that becomes beyond our control in real life where the truth comes out suddenly without any back up plan. Sane is happening to dev but yeah it's a serial hence for more nerve wrecking drama

I was quite curious to see how Bijoy will react when he finds out about the infertility treatment without Sona's consent. Reason being I see shades of my dad in Bijoy. Well, thankfully the treatment never started without consent, in fact it hasn't started at all (much to my exasperation! I think that is the solution forward but who am I to decide the story and ofcourse what another couple decides to do). Anyways, so when the truth came out at the Boses (again, I liked this subtle touch too - The truth came out at the Boses. Not in a doctor's office or at the Dixits - at the Boses. The place where Sonakshi gets most love and care), I was excited to see how Bijoy will react. Now this is screen drama so some of it was exaggerated but even then, I was quite disappointed for many reasons.

Firstly, Asha and Bijoy let Sonakshi go alone. Odd, very odd.
Secondly, they didnt follow her to Dev's office. Instead, Bijoy rushed to take Ishwari & co to task and Asha followed him to do damage control. Dont you guys find that so weird? Most parents would be worried about the mental well being of their daughter at this point - no?

While Sonakshi's choice of words (dont create a scene - which is infact exactly what Bijoy had created) wasnt great, I liked it that she sent them back and asked them to let Dev and her handle this among themselves.

Hate Dev - nah.. I cannot hate anyone on this show (vicky perhaps is an exception!) simply because hate is a strong word and humans make mistakes. Dev needs a hand to hold him ALL HIS LIFE. Sona just needs to realise that Dev cannot be trusted with emotionally charged circumstances and she needs to follow up on everything just like she did in Aayan's case

If there a a lesson in all this (and was the same in case of break-up), the lesson is for Sonakshi - she has married a very nice guy who is however very emotionally vulnerable. Sadly, only when she knows the issue can she help him (like she did in case of honeymoon cancellation)

"Mr. Dixit, Tumi ekdom impossible"- This dialogue seems most apt coz Dev makes it impossible for us to hate him even after he repeatedly blunders and makes mistakes that are impossible to forgive.
Dev couldn't have been or gone more wrong yet my heart went out to him despite it crying for Sona at the other end. How is that even possible...right? If Sonakshi's heartbreak was palpable, so was Dev's love and desperation. If she was crying her heart out...so was he and the way he clung to her when she was trying to push him away...it was gut wrenching. I personally will never ever forget today's episode...simply brilliant acting by Shaheer and erica was no less today. ⭐️

Thank you for making this beautiful post!!! I so wish to see Dev standing up for Sonakshi.

And yes, its too much dirty linen in public. Be it Ash throwing her son out and expecting him to hang around the street, be it Dev chasing Sona, Dev begging Sona, Bijoy insulting Dev and the following scene with the Boses and clearly the dirty linen continues to get washed in public...coz we see Sona and Dev begging and pleading with Ishwari in public at the temple going forward. Wonder why the CVs have decided to do this...They have decided to do away with the reality wherein people like wash their dirty laudry within the four walls of their home/room.

You echo my thoughts Sandy.

These public scenes seem to a response to the fans' demand for outdoor shoots. Sorry, bad joke

We said we don't like flashbacks and guess what we get flash forwards. 😃
