Read ur edited part tia ...n its to d point and perfect ...
Exactly wen she said ye samajhne ke liye maa hona zaruri h...i was like its a direct insult ...coz being a mother i want to pamper my son protect him but den i know dis pampering n protection wont work in long run ...if i want my baby to learn walking i have to allow him to fall and then get up on his own ...
she said dev apni maa ko kabhi vanvaas nhi jaane dega ...but den agar itna trust hota to there shud not have been any issue ...d main issue is she doeant trust d love her son has for her .

Precisely. It's okay to call someone something else. But once you have become comfortable and changed the equation of that relationship, suddenly taking about turn is extremely insulting. I was surprised that it didn't register on Dev until he realised how his mother will feel. That means, if his mother was okay with it, he'd never feel from Asha's point of view. This weird fixation is not healthy.

Awesum post tia

Agree with u
I do feel it hardly matters whether u call ur mil maa or aunty ...i myself call my maa as rani or maa whatever i feel like ..and took almost 6 mnths to call my mil as maa but wen i said i dint go back to aunty business
Dev was not wrong in calling asha aunty but he was wrong in going back from maa to aunty ..i m happy dat he realised it ...

Exactly. It doesn't matter how you achieve your goal - Sam, dam, dand, bhed. What matters is you are determined and never give up until you achieve it. And that's what I wanted to see today from Sona. She didn't insult anyone, but got her job done. BRAVO!!!

Don't even get me started on Ishwari. If Sona's family wanted, they could have taught the whole Dixit family lessons on parenting. But they are too classy to do so. Money can give you status, but class comes from within.

I agree about the determination part and I am glad how Sona is determined to tackle this issue without just letting it go like other issues in the past.

She is handling it in a playful way but it is nice that she is JUST NOT LETTING IT GO.

This is a big deal and let just stick to it till it gets resolved in a fair manner.

I just cannot help but notice how superficially Ishwari tackled the whole MAA' issue in front of Sona.

She tried to convince her that it will take some time for Dev to adapt to this new change in his relationships.

How cleverly she kept it hidden from Sona that it was in fact her insecurities which prevented Dev to call Asha as Maa'

Her stone studded heart couldn't stand Dev-Asha bonding with so much of ease and fun.

It has never been Dev's reluctance to new bonding and relationship but Ishwari has indeed presented it like this. ISHWARI HAS MASTERED THE DECEPTION.

How I wish Ishwari would have expressed her real concern in front of Sona like she did in front of Dev.

Agree ..it was insulting and hurting when he went back to aunty fromaa
From what i saw i felt dev realised how much it wud have hurt sona coz if he cant even stand d fact dat sona ll call his maa aintu how she wud ve felt when he did it ...
It was when he went to thank and apologise to sona she pointed out to dev dat he dint even realised how much it wud ve hurt her mother ..

She is proud that she is the mother of Dev Dixit who will never let go of his mother's hand. The bond between them is unbreakable even when a third person has entered the equation. How much she trusts his love and her upbringing is another question. But her being his mother is her identity. That was the crux of her speech.
I wanted to laugh because this mother son bond segregated her daughters so much so that her own daughter who was a better mother than her doesn't even want to be a mother. Her son will not have that blessing. Karma is a bi**h

Same old, same old, Maa is always right crap.

This is the mother who just called her son her life, totally ignoring her daughters. But as society's mentality, the son is emotional to see his sister's don't register anywhere to his mother, the daughter-in-law accepts that her husband will always come before anyone to her mother-in-law and the sisters are so used to being ignored, that they actually thought for once being included in the exclusive circle was worth being ignored.

The only person who didn't step in was Neha. Because she didn't want to be ignored.

And the reaction of Bose family was proof enough of what they thought of this speech. Want to know my reaction? Look at their face.

She is a doctor and a wife. So I am pretty sure she'd know better how to deal with fever. But Ishwari thinks she knows how to run Dev's business better than him and how to fix his illness better than a doctor.

That's what Dev wanted her to be... Go for it... not because Dev wants it or Ishwari doesnt want it or because Sona wants to prove a point... but because she has the training and I am hoping she knows what she is doing
