P.S.- Nothing. Just awww! 😆

The disappointment on his face the night of diwali was very evident. I am hoping he will start seeing his mother's true colours eventually and sona won't have to show him.

Dev told Sona to stay out of his family's business and then after reading his letter he said, "You are not outsider. You are my wife, a part of this family." Awww... cho chweet.

So basically translating Dev's statement here's what I get.

"Sona, my darling, you are my wife, a part of this family. I love you so much that I miss you every moment. BUT, please read the disclaimer below.

1. Just don't open your mouth and express any opinion (We don't need it. Family matter, you see)

2. Just do as you are told and you will continue to be the love of my life (Isn't that wonderful?)

3. If you are feeling like an outsider it's because you are stepping over your boundary and actually thinking that you have any say in anything (Really, how can I make you understand. May be an example will help)

It's like when we consider our helps and our pets as part of our family.

They are there, they are treated decently, they are fed and taken care off.

But do they interfere in family matters? No.

Do we share or discuss anything with them? No.

Can you name any other family member who is treated like you and asked to stay out of family business? No.

So what did we learn today? Yes, your comparison should not be with Maa, Neha, Mama, Mami or even Vicky, Riya or Nikki. Your status is to be compared with Kichu bhaiya.

Mimic him and you will continue to be my wife, part of my family and a true life partner in YOUR IMAGINATION!!! (There I said it)"

Awww...😆

It's now more like Awww Dev the master, awww Sona the slave... Awww Dev the man with dirty legs, awww Sona his doormat 😛 ..

Now I wonder if he wanted a slave, why did he crave for Sona an intelligent, free-thinking independent woman ? If Dadi Bua/Ishwari were given the task to choose a bahu for him, they would have gotten Dev the exact kind of life-partner he is looking for, a punching bag or flower pot 😛 But no, marry an awesome woman with her own individuality and then destroy it painfully with slow poisoning 🤔

Sorry i dont know if dev is dumb or he just chooses to ignore and pretend all is ok and his mom loves sona... But that is his character... He behaved exactly like his character is expected to behave..
He accepted nehas word becuase for him neha is responsibility and sona is his own family..

Isnt this what happens all the time in a family ,we easily accept requests from others but dont give in easily when the spouse asks for the same.. It is because you expect your spouse to understand your pov and support it.. You dont have the same kind of expectation from any other relationship.
So when neha came and asked to give rvs job back as bhaifhooj gift.. He just said ok as he doesnt expect neha to understand his pov

I personally do this a lot and i am suremany of us do it too.even though you strongly believe somethibg is not rightyou still do it when you in laws or parentsask you to do it...and you wouldmake a big deal of it and will not yield if your husband asks you to do the same thing
