Great analysis Deepa ...

Today I wanted to share what I felt about todays episode ...I am actually surprised that the entire focus is shifted to Dev snatching Ranveer's job but not on the fact that Ranveer misused law and filled a mental harassment case aganist his wife .Divorce and mental harassment case are two different things ...one has every right to intiate divorce proceedings but one doesn't have the right to falsely accuse someone of harassment . From what they have shown Neha hasn't tortured Ranveer or his family ..she walked out when she could no longer take it .I am not saying Neha is right but at least the girl did not ill treat her in laws and for me Ranveer is not a victim .if we think from Dev's PoV ...he got Ranveer a job so that he can lead a better life and can provide some comforts to his sister but instead he saw how Ranveer misused the money he earned from his high paying job to file false case against his sister so he wants to snatch the source which he used to falsely accuse his sister ...

If Dev had taken this step after Ranveer insulted his family then I would hold Dev responsible but it was Ranveer who started this dirty game and Dev answered him back ...it's like tit for tat situation...and I also agree that this is not the way to solve issue but this was more like a implusive act rather ..he did not do this to show his powers

As a wife Sona she has every right to point out his mistakes but she has to understand where Dev is coming from ... I would be disappointed if she fails to acknowledge Ranveer''s mistake and makes it middle class vs high class issue

wonderful write up👏👏
I agree that this week was amazing.
Took me back to old KRPKAB with subtle and cute Devakshi sequences, soothing back ground music, sequences that were perfectly paced- neither too rushed nor too slow and most importantly all characters were given some screen space
During Break up and Patch up,it was all Ishwari, DevSona and GKB.
Nikki,Riya,Vicky,Neha and Ranveer were not shown much after Break up- Patch up drama.😃
Glad we got to see all of them this week.

We dint have any major fight between DevSona this week and they seem to be sleeping together every night from their resort nighout onwards.
No wonder, Resort SR did its magic.😉😳

Coming to Neha-Ranveer-- My heart goes out to Ranveer. He is seriously not treated well by Dixits.😭😭
Time and again he was insulted as he is a poor person.

I am 100 % on his side as I always put myself into his shoes and then imagine what would I have done differently being at his place. There are several questions and answers that comes into my mind if I had been at Ranveer's place

Q- Can I leave my family to get settle down in my new life along with my wife?

A- No ,My family might suffer due to poverty and hunger.
My mother is old and she might need me after going through an operation. My SIL stays away from her husband due to some situations. My family might need presence of only male member left . Both financially and emotionally.
If we stay together then I can cater to my wife's need as well as to my family needs.
Both are equally important and you really cannot prioritize one over another.
But you can balance it for sure with the help of understanding and sensitivity of people involved

Q- Can I give in to Neha's demands to take an apartment and continue taking financial support from her brother? As Neha wants me to become rich

A- As a strong ,independent person.I would never do that.
Even if Ranveer takes help from Dev..Neha will keep reminding him of that.
We have seen how Ishwari made Dev obliged(for the rest of his life) to Mama ji for the help Mama ji did to them in their past.
Do we really want Ranveer to become obliged to Dev like this?
There are many -many -many ways to be rich only if you are determined to build the foundation of your future based on your own endeavor ,sacrifices and struggles.
Neha can do something to be a financially independent person.you don't have to be educated to earn money for yourself and for your family.
Ishwari is one of the examples that Neha can look up to.
Ishwari managed to bring her children and family out of poverty.
I am surprised that Neha dint learn hardwork, determination and tolerance from Ishwari's past.

Ranveer was a plain, simple person who was living his life happily.
A person of utmost self esteem and dignity
He was poor but content as he believed in himself and his family.
One fine day he got married and his whole dynamics of love, money and happiness gets changed..
I pity him😭

A very well analysed post. 👏 KRPKAB is setting its own standards higher and i am loving each and every episode nowdays. All the characters are growing without leaving their roots or essence.

Wow..back with a bang. Thank you so much for the reply and most importantly for coming back and writing your analysis.
You write beautifully..your criticism is always constructive. The most pleasure I get in reading your posts is I feel like you are writing my heart out, its exactly like I think of these characters and their perspectives. The emojis when inserting through mobile are giving me an error else I would have filled the post of jumping smilies and hugs. "Pramadam". Its like kamal hassan saying in that song "kanmani anbodu.." " athe thaan athe thaan..".
Kudos to the CVs really absolutely beautiful episodes, magical. The romance is subtle yet passionate. Its so so different from other serials i have seen in the past. This so so real life. Wish we had this serial when I got married, it would have helped me to look at different relationships in different perspectives instead of taking longer to learn them on my own with experience.

Anyways thanks again for coming back. Please do come more frequently than once a week, like many other forums members have already said you are a ray of positivity. I think when sona says "nishaan nahi nishaani hai" and dev says "tum ismein bhi positivity dhoond leti ho.." its an apt dialogue for you.

Cheers

Thank you for such an amazing post... Your analysis just made me fall in love with these amazing characters even more...
Each of them is flawed but while we criticize their negativity but at the same time, we forget to see the optimistic growth that has happened in the characters since the honeymoon drama...

Last week (and the week before) episodes reminded me of the old KRPKAB magic...

Hoping that the magic continues in the coming weeks...

Till next time,

Nice Analysis. I too am liking the recent episodes. Devakshi relationship has gone to an altogether different level after resort date/honeymoon cancellation.

Also I was really fed up with the amount of negativity they had shown during & right after the wedding. It was unbearable to watch 18 minutes of negativity and only 2 min positive scenes.

But now the show seems to be getting slowly back on track where they are showing 17 min positive scenes and 2-3 min of negativity. Even in the first 100 episodes they would show new issues every now and then but they would resolve it within 1 or 2 episodes.

Also good that the CV's have started handling negative issues one at a time instead of showing everything all at once like they showed after the wedding.

Ishwari also seems to be getting better except her occasional taunts directed toward Dev 😡

Good to see Dev opening up about his past slowly with Sona. And the way she heals him by her love and care is amazing. Soon Dev will stop feeling guilty and IShwari will no longer be able to use her past to manipulate Dev.

The old charm of the show seems to be slowly coming back 😊

Wow. What an amazing analysis Deepa. 👏
Dev-Sona are truly magic. The moment these 2 appear on my screen, i forget about every flaw of this show & watch their every antic with a wide smile on my face. The best thing is the way these 2 characters balance each other all the time.

For Dev, his family is his weakness and his love(Sona) is his strength. He is a provider/giver when it comes to his family & does everything with out any complaints & expectations in return. He draws his strength & finds solace from his love(Sona) in tough times.

For Sona, her family is her strength and her love(Dev) is her weakness. Her love for Dev is selfless & unconditional with out any expectations from him in return. She draws her strength & finds solace from her family in tough times.

Both are such a beautiful yet flawed characters just like U & Me.😊
