SONAKSHI's POV

I sat there waiting for the impending doom i hated shopping with dev... he would take me to some designer store and make me try at least 20 outfits and then make me select one out of them.. choosing an outfit out of them was the world's most difficult task for me!! We stopped at a red light and my hand shifted to the plush music system of the car and i switched it on.. the song irresistible started playing in the background...

FLASHBACK

"Dev hum long drive pe ja rahe hai stop changing songs like that and waise bhi yeh meri playlist hai!!" i said irritated We were going to Lansdowne it was supposed to be a romantic-weekend-getaway i was still wondering how dev managed to pacify ma to agree for this getaway but still at the end of the day we were headed to the much awaited destination.

"han toh mai tumhare yeh gane nahi sun sakta" he replied equally irritated.

" agar aapko itni hi problem thi toh mujhe apne sath lekar kyu aae??" i asked

"correction miss bose mujhe aapse nahi aapki playlist se problem hai" he replied indifferent..

"its mrs dixit for you but still na agar apne meri playlist chalne nahi di toh gadi rokiye n mujhe neeche uthariye" i said folding my arms at my chest with a look of determination.

He stared at me for a moment befor bursting out laughing " seriously sona!!" i just sat there unmoving

" aacha fine aap apni playlist laga sakti hai mai kuch nahi kahunga!!" hearing this i jumped on him laughing and he screeched" sona!!" and we both laughed effortless was the sound!!

End of flashback

I sat there frozen... he looked at me and there it was a smile that broke my heart into a million pieces... no words were exchanged for the rest of the ride as we both knew we would not be able to stop the tears that would follow...

DEV's POV

Yes it was sonakshi's playlist in my car, yes i heard those songs again and again, yes i hated them a few months back but today i cherished them... looking at sonakshi i could clearly see those unshed tears.. she was the stongest and the most beautiful women i had ever met and i had the fortune of falling in love with her in that moment i realised i loved her more each passing day and i could never stop loving her even if i tried i would never be able to fall out of love with this impossibly wonderful woman!!

I was grateful for the silent treatment for once i was not eager to face those questioning eyes... we reached the destination. She got out of the car and gave me a exasperated expression and smiling i took her hand and lead the way.

First stop was a designer boutique it specialised in exactly the kind of sarees i needed. after an hour or so we finally selected a master peice and it looked absolutely breathtaking on my love...

The next stop was a brand store after a long argument one that i won we bought a beautiful red colored dress it was a full sleeved dress that emphasised on her curves and reached below her thighs the neck was a bit deep and the back was a complete intricate net work i loved it on her and asked her to change into it...

As soon as we were done here i got a call from Tina " Sir jo flat mujhe apne ready krne ke liye kaha tha woh ready hai"

"thank you tina" i disconnected the call to face a puzzled sonakshi staring at me...
