Thank you so much for the beautiful analysis!😊

So true, the makers very skillfully conflict the idea of love for the protagonist with the reality of the situation.
Sona needs to learn, just like you said, that she won't fit in by trying to become the ideal bahu but by being herself.

And totally agree with the part that Asha coaxed Sona to go ahaead with the relationship because her expectations of every issue between them resolved was unrealistic. Now that they are married, those problems haven't gone anywhere but will crop up, right on their faces.

I am happy that you liked it! 😊

Yes, exactly, she is already the missing piece to the Dixit puzzle, and doesn't have to change her shape in any way! I hope she does realise that.

But now that they are married, Sona is actually in a better position to deal with some of these issues, and other issues are just going to be there for life, having to be dealt with each time they come up. Ishwari's insecurity is never going to disappear completely, but as a member of the household, Sona has more scope to manage them. Similarly, with characters like Mamiji, her official position as Dev's wife gives her more ground to stand on against them than she had as his girlfriend. Asha, as a woman who went through this process herself, probably knows that there is no such thing as a perfect marriage and happily ever after!

Perfect vision,Sensible thought and superb presentation skills...Loved it .Wish to read more.

Ishwari is hands down one of the best characterisations I have seen any where! I just cannot stop marvelling at how carefully they have crafted the image of this incredibly strong, conflicted, and complex woman. While she would have been happy to remain meekly within the old system, circumstances forced her to think for herself and support her family; that inevitably changed her outlook in so many ways. Unfortunately she doesn't know how to feel good about her own achievements except through the success of her children, especially Dev. That puts a lot of pressure on Dev in turn to be the mirror of her sacrifices and achievements.

As for Dev, I am so happy he has found Sona and she has found him! I loved that after everything that happened yesterday, Sona was still not alone, because she could come back to the room and vent all her anger on Dev. There was something so valuable about the fact that she didn't have to pretend to be happy for him, nor did he push her once she said she needed some time. And Dev is also learning the correct ways to handle Sona's anger, just as she is learning to make him communicate better. I love watching that process unfold.

I loved your analysis, agree to it to a very large extent. But the issue majority have is the CV's dramatic aspect of showing what your analysis says. The CV's used to be subtle and mature approach about their plot but now its very difficult to watch the show - with so much negativity in each episode.
Yes its a journey of Sonakshi, Dev and Ishwari agreed 👍🏼 The dramatic approach (Dadi Bua, RR, not required) of showing that journey 👎🏼 - Ishwari's insecurity is more than enough to be dramatic.

In turn, for Sona (especially with regards to the new promo) the journey will be to find out that she is better for this family, being herself, rather than trying to be their "ideal bahu." Much more than someone to take on domestic duties, which Ishwari already presides over, the Dixits are in need of someone who can facilitate communication, and bring reason to situations overridden by emotions. In short, they need a Bose, not just another Dixit. It is here that I think Sona's own identity will shine, and bring that new happiness to her new household!

If this happens then nothing like it 👏... I would really hate this girl trying to blend in with them to suit their convenience... I will cheer up for her to be the Sonakshi Bose amidst the Dixits 🥳... 👏

This is such a brilliant post. Agree to all of it. Specially Ishwari's part. She has been always a very conflicted character but not entirely evil. And the show takes up on that quite excellently. Also credit for a huge chunk goes to Supriya . Her acting is what keeps Ishwari slipping into a villain. Too brilliant she is. Thanks for this post. It was a great read.

What a brilliant Post👏 I always look forward to yours especially whenever my morale is down regarding the show. Agree to everything you have stated.

Your lines about Sona better be a Bose than becoming Dixit is spot on !! Yes this family needs a person like Sona to understand each other and their feelings and stop living like individual islands inside a family.

I have no complaints about Dev whatsoever because when he tries his best to give the best of both world he is ought to be sandwiched 😆

Now I so agree about Ishwari, infact hers and Neha's are the two characters which strongly pulled into this series apart from leads magical chemistry. I have understood, marveled , astonished at the intrinsic layers of shades the makers have given her till yesterday except for that prenup signature.
Thats one incident I couldn't fathom. It was like a deliberate attempt by the CVs to make her look black completely. I did understand her insecurities and need to protect her Son's hard earned livelihood but my only grudge is "Why by deception?" I could have taken anything other than this route ..but why this way? Would love to read your input on this when time permits because you are one of the few in the forum having a clear perspective about the show for its real essence 😊

Please keep posting more to maintain the sanity of us all 😆 Thanks again for this post..much appreciated 🤗
