I have huge huge issues with this whole infertility track. Doctor tells a would-be husband that his would-be wife is infertile From where did they get such faltu useless doctor with zero practical sense ? Doctors treat each patient and their cases differently, they are in a public-service profession.. I can take bullshit of Dev being oblivious to the whole world's real issues and making a lost-puppy face in all practical situations, not understanding human psychology, not reading expressions from Mommy-the-God (much like the looks of PK from the movie PK when he initially arrived from the spaceship 😆), but teachers, doctors etc don't behave so impractically. Major blunder there.

Second thing Dev's sangeet dance expressions. I really couldn't decode it whether he is in grief or is still in the shock. Can I expect a little LESS OTT expressions from Shaheer because it's really coming across as a confusion from his side whether to go with this marriage or not, instead of conveying his sadness. 🤔 He looks more like unsure than sad. Boy, you're getting married to the love of your life. Just be in the moment man. I agree this is a huge blow to any person wanting to have kids and regular life, but when it's a love marriage, this shouldn't really be a confusion 😔. It reminds me of the HIMYM scene where Robin tells Kevin that she never wants to have a kid, and Kevin, despite having hugely upset, just decides to keep her in his life (It's another story that Robin herself broke up with him). Only few lucky people get to marry their love. Why ruining your most precious ceremonies of your life over something which can be discussed and shared to reduce the pain ? Rather you're confused and shocked for 5 long days ? 🤔

Another weird thing was Sona's expressions. I mean it was QUITE obvious that Dev was having a sulking face, how can you royally ignore that and keep grinning like that 🤣 It was really odd. The show is slowly losing its realistic touch 😳

Dev and Sona, specially Sona looked GORGEOUS Only if Dev had an OK face (I think somewhere in between he lowered it down and it looks good).

Sorry for my rant, now things on your topic 😆 - Being a boy of 8/11 yr old, he loves remote control devices 😃 While he has given his own remote control to Ishwari's hands, he wants to keep the remote of Sona-device to his own hands. 😃 For Dixits, it's all about hiding stuffs from each other, going at each other's back, trying to feel better that 'I am great because I bear so much of pain for others' and the false pride of superior feelings than the rest of the world. Oh, one more - 'I am always right' syndrome too 😃.

Raed all the replies. Everybody who's talking about taking second opinion, amazing doctors revealing reports to anybody and everybody, diagnosing immediately etc are sensible people and hence they have no right to question the show and CVs because it's a TV show, it's not supposed to make sense, okay? Dekhna hai toh dekho! Hmph.

@Payal- I hope you're okay now. Glad that you got through it.

@Kambhakth- If you're on Instagram then just search #Kuchrangpyarkeaisebhi and 137383739 videos will pop up. Dev has the same expression in all of them 😆

Some of us missed that and went by the promo, dissected it and felt the disconnect.😉
Look at their names
Easwari Goddess
Dev is it Devas
Sona gold just a metal! Which adorns Easwari and Dev but no purpose on its own

Since worship is the central theme
The makers are going to this end result
Dev worships Easwari but only on Sunday's..he has to have some character growth
Sona worships Dev or love however you want to see it and by default loves Easwari the rest of the days

And Here lies the balance the makers were alluding to!

Now that I have realized this I feel so much at peace😉

Absolutely. Regardless of love, no one has a right to take decisions on someone else's behalf unless they are mentally disabled. Here's what I wrote in my other post the most obvious way to handle this (at least most obvious to me).

So here I think what Dev should do.

1. Take Sona's report and get a second opinion. There may be no need to be alarmed at all.

2. If the results are same, then talk to a Fertility specialist what should be the way around? I mean all he knows that Sona has a weak uteras and there's 7% chance of conceiving naturally. But that does not say much. Does it mean Sona can't conceive naturally, but can carry a baby to term (in which case just an IVF procedure is sufficient) or does it mean Sona can't carry a baby to term in which case a surrogate is required.

Either way many solutions are available unless he finds out that he can't father children either. But even in that scenario, there's adoption. Any one who wants to be parents these days can be a parent.

3. Tell Sona about her medical conditions along with his findings they can use when they are ready for a baby. She will not only take it better but will also appreciate his hard work researching the options. Who knows, in a few years there might even be option to create a new womb with stem cell. They are creating heart and kidney with regular cells these days.

4. Once you have the solution ready, together approach Ishwari and Bose family and share the news. At that point they will need family support.

See, it's not the end of the world unless Dev could not afford the options or thinks that the only baby worth loving is the one born in natural process.

Sona doesn't have a terminal disease like God forbid, cancer that will prevent her from having a happy and healthy life. Then why make it such a huge issue unless there's a need? Enjoy your time with your lady love. He hardly wanted children right away.

You are right . It is case of broken trust. Love means supporting someone in need. Not taking their decisions on their behalf. I would have respected Dev much more if he had told Sonakshi look this is the problem we are facing but together we will find a solution be it surrogacy, further treatment or adoption.

But let's not inform our families right now as first it is our personal problem and second I am not sure they will take it well.

Also has this guy heard about second opinion.?

I also want to give a collective hug to everyone who is suffering from some kind of infertility problems..these are real problems and sensitive one as such and I wish that this was dealt with the sensitivity it deserved. 🤗

It seems like it is not the case here and in all of the shows..my only gripe here is if you are going to show a topic like this in the media please have the responsibility to show it with compassion and also to educate and not make a mockery out of it

I think he feels that if he tells truth to Sona , she will not marry him, esp knowing how much Dev love kids. Dev doesn't want to loose Sona again, so he may tell this bitter truth after marriage, I think it's ok.

dev may think,if he tell abt that to sona. sina won't agree for marriage.. again she plan to move on. dev don't want to create these things again that's y he didn't inform her now. after marriage he will discuss with sona. after marriage dev will more concern with sona
