that thought came across my mind while watching that hug scene.. but I know it can't be a dream :(
Hope they will makeup for yesterday's episode..they have to do that..I never thought cv's will disappoint anyone with patch up or proposal..what just happened..some are happy and some are not..their ultimum aim was to show devakshi together anyhow...Why they let down our expectation...:(
I'm saying I will not expect anything...but
..but still I'm hoping we will get old krpkab back..
I wanted old krpkab magic back...I'm not seeing this show to just see DevAkshi together ,I wanted to watch beautiful story of them..not rushing in any track..

The episode totally drained me. And here I thought I've braced and conditioned myself to take up all the B n S in the show for the sake of Sharica and continue watching it for only entertainment factor. N yet , the episode managed to crush my remaining hopes to the ground and nearly left me wondering why on Earth should I continue wtching this show ??

The patch up and the proposal was BADLY done ! There can't be any two ways about it. Majority of the fans are extremely depressed, annoyed and disappointed. Many were left confused as to where and how n why so many things went wrong.

Even the chemistry that's so magical and keeps the viewers glued to the show , was off in yesterday's episode. A bad sign indeed. THe actors looked like they're not convinced of the scene , execution and dialogs.

Shaheer looked bedraggled , tired and disinterested.

There were absolutely no passion. Kid's romance indeed. Ishwari would've been proud of them ! 👏

At this point , why even worry about infertility ?? We all know there are actions needed for making babies. And are Devakshi capable or even willing for that ??
Lovers who were kept apart for such a long time , didn't share a heart to heart talk or some intense passionate moments !! It beats me, because it's so so unrealistic.

Shaheer should be kidnapped with love and taken to a hair dresser and returned to his hot hunk business tycoon look. Even a road side Romeo cleans up better.

Asha , why and how are you sure that Sona is going to get her love Dev by her side like a rock through thick and thin ?? Just tell me what has he done till now to make you believe so ?? Do you know some thing that we don't know ??

Many are hailing her for her maturity. I'd say it's her stupidity and she's pushing Sona , who's already reduced to a confused naive fool in love , a starry eyed girl unable to see what dire future awaits her , into taking a hasty and wrong decision.

And by the way Sona and dev needn't have married by eloping against Ishwari's wish , they just needed to be together convincing Ishwari as a team and face her insecurity issue in a mature way. They're adults after all... or , are they ??

Dev dumped your daughter brutally, crushed her heart , her job , her self respect and never did any thing to gain her back, to restore her faith , trust , respect in her eyes or apologize to her family instead he harassed her by stalking , not letting her move on , made a joke of your entire family in front of the society by his drunken drama at her engagement.

No mother in reality will forgive or forget such things. No, not even for the happiness of her daughter. Because where is even the guarantee to it ??

So many posts have raised so many valid points as to how many things went wrong , including yours. Don't wanna repeat them.

Episode was super fast and it looked crappy n choppy, as if they just wanna get them over with , before they jump to the next crap fest that's this totally unnecessary-at-this-point infertility track. Yayy to us !

"The guy will come around, change for the better after marriage" "things will get better, this is just a phase." " we have to fulfill our childs' every demand" how many times have we heard parents saying this. And then heard about women getting abused in the marriage or things just falling apart. I am not saying Dev or his mother are abusers but only putting forth a general thought in the light of which I found Asha's support for Dev and his mother weird. How easily she changed her mind and even changed Sona's mind. I was disappointed in Asha. Changing a mothers mind after she witnessed Dev's antics shouldn't have been shown to be so easy. Mothers fears for her daughter's safety should have been portrayed.

Interesting Discussions

For me it was the attraction of Ishwari and Dev then came DevAKshi the simplicity of this couple all the promos that was shown in my country just drew me to KRPKAB as I realized this is the first time ever a show that is closest to reality will be aired .

I always enjoyed every episode even when Dev broke his relationship, however his pain was truly unbearable for me and I was looking forward to DevAKshi reunion

This past weekend I just mentioned it to my friends and brothers saying I really hope the patch up should be simple the makers need to make it real as all the episodes were and to be honest I loved DevAKshi patch up it was real it was wholesome.

I know many are complaining about the patch up , but for me the most important fact was done both were happy both deeply in Love .

For me it was a perfect reunion words exchanged forgiveness granted and accepted what more is truly needed .

Thank you for such a wonderful post. I agree with you totally and every word that you wrote. In fact I am so disappointed by the way makers are treating this show...I had also written something similar...so will just copy paste it here

After seeing the segments regarding the patch up hugs, wedding menu, and her not being able to conceive issues, that too before marriage...I thought he would propose after knowing the health issue . That would make sure that her father has confidence in him as an ideal husband for his daughter...And also this would give an uplift to Dev's character

...but todays episode made me think that I should stop predicting ...

I knew patch up was going to happen this week ...but what I didn't predict and scenes that gave me a surprise was

1) His proposal - was the proposal out of the world one ...I would say NO ...but yeah close to reality...I felt proposal lacked emotions...something was missing or probably was expecting too much because he kept saying his proposal will be the best one in the world..

2) Conversation betwn mom and daughter was spot on...it gave clarity on why she likes him even after him hurting her so much...in future also, if he listens to his mom blindly ...she is going to forgive...her mother indirectly told her what to expect ..and that she is no different from him ,in many ways when it comes to their love towards family.

3) Saurab's call to Dev ..I definitely did not expect that.

4) Ishwari giving the bangles and calling it "bandhan" betwn her and Dev was good to see...but would this relationship bring more pain than happiness is something that we will have to wait and watch

5) I still feel Sona agreed too soon to marry him

6) Bijoy's fear - When he gave a go ahead to Sona , I thought he was ok for marriage...the precap surprised me ...when he said," why rush for marriage let your family get to know her "...which means he is not convinced abt Dev. Forget abt Dev's family , Bijoy still feels this guy could hurt his daughter again.

I was very happy to see the patch up scene. ...that first hug and their expression said it all...and how much they missed each other and how much they wanted to be with each other...it was sheer joy to watch them together after a long time...but I felt there was some disconnect ..that passion is so very missing ...I don't know if its just me ...probably I am wrong ...anyways its just my POV.

In spite of all this , I am somehow not convinced with Dev's loyalty to Sona . Even now I doubt if he would stand by her during a difficult situation. I agree with Bijoy and I understand his fear . There needs to be an act from Dev which proves that he will stand by her no matter what and who comes against them. I am not saying he doesn't love her ...but is his love for her that strong that it will withstand any tempest ...There has never been a scene to prove this...not even one !! Even convincing Sona and her family was Ishwari's effort not his.. All we know is his love for her ... words and promises which he has broken many times...

So yes I am happy they patched up , there were lot of surprises in todays episode...but like Bijoy I am not convinced with the strength of love that Dev has for Sona...and I sincerely doubt if he would support her during the infertility track..My heart wants him to supports her because a man's support is the most needed one for his lady during such phase of life...well...

Will wait for the day when Dev ( CV team ) is able to surprise me by proving in action that he will stand by Sona ...till then I will have doubts on his love for her...eagerly waiting to see a scene that will show the strength of Dev's love for Sona.

PS : For me todays best scene was the mother daughter talk. I really loved it more than Dev's proposal.

TRUE. In the Epi where Ishwari comes to Bose house for the 2nd time and was begging and emotionally blackmailing Sona to say Yes to marry Dev...I loved the fact that Asha interrupted the convo and reminded Ishwari that Sona has gone thru a lot in the break up phase and it would not be right for either of them to pressurize Sona to take any kind of decision.

But in the very next Epi (which is continuation of same day in the show), while Sona is having a talk with Elena and is rightfully upset with Dev's behaviour and actions...Asha makes Sona realize Dev's importance in Sona's life. As per what I understood, Sona had 2 concerns - 1. Dev being a man and accepting that how he handled the whole break up situation was wrong and that he did not include Sona in the decision making process. 2. Sona's parents approval. Well Sona got the approval but wat abt the convo with Dev? That was a big CHUNK of the continuation that was skipped. The ONLY apt time for that to happen was before patch up...it cannot be added anywhere else in the storyline. So ideally that should have taken place in yday's epi. Whereas Proposal could have waited...and been done in a better and realistic way.

Very well-written post, agree with your concerns whole-heartedly. The breakup was the key point of the whole story, as shown in the promos. I would've liked DevAkshi to have spent time on their own, worrying about one another, sad etc after the breakup. And got together on their own, without any stalking or Ritwik on the scene. I never liked the fact that they use Natasha or Ritwik to push key story points forward.

I would've liked DevAkshi to realise they can't be without over another and joined hands to help Ishwari understand their love. The whole scenario after breakup has been badly handled in my opinion.

1. Why why why NO PASSION between DevAkshi??? Is it so difficult? What is driving that lack of passion - Storyline, Screenplay, Direction? Have freaking NO clue. Cannot be acting bcoz we all knw how good the Shaheer and Erica are and I am sure their offscreen chemistry can only help with online portrayal. So guys (CVs/Makers) plz get your act together.

2. Any happy news related to DevAkshi is always rushed - God damn it why? Be it when Dev finally told Ishwari abt Sona where we all expected some light and good moments between Dixit sisters and Dev or be it now when DevAkshi are united. Give them some time to process what is happening in their lives. Like Epi 76 & Epi 77 - both epi so beautifully show the love confession and DevAkshi's reactions to this big change in their lives. Not just these 2 episodes. They had almost 2 weeks which was a beautiful process. Even during those 2 weeks, the storyline did proceed at a good pace with Neha's marriage and disagreements bewteen DevAkshi and that was beautifully shown. Has the whole team of CVs changed bcoz they dont seem to be in sync with their own style of story presentation which I thought was 1 of the USPs of this show.

3. Loved Asha and Sona's convo. CVs/Makers very cleverly using Asha (as a mother's POV) as the spokesperson & Ishwari's begging for forgiveness (for gaining viewers' sympathy) to convey and convince viewers to forgive Dev. Well, CVs went all out with their creativity for showing Ishwari's unacceptance of DevAkshi and DevAkshi Breakup which did leave a big impact on our minds towards Ishwari & Dev. TBH, after both those dramatic events, nothing that Dev could do to meet viewers' expectations. UNLESS the CVs took it a notch down and showed it with a lil less Dramatic and more Mature approach (something we thought we saw in the promos).

4. After Sona's baba agreed for the proposal, what was the rush to show Saurav calling Dev. It looked like Saurav is Dev's best buddy and all thru the break up was updating Dev on every move. It was so unrealistic. Would have loved to see Asha maa informing Ishwari abt Sona and her baba approving the proposal. And then probably Dev and Sona have a phone convo or meeting with a little bit of awkwardness initially. But then their emotions, feelings and passion for each other which was building up all through the break up phase would break that awkwardness into a passionate hug. May be a nice adult convo between the two after that hug would be so welcomed.
But again breaking all KRPKAB rules, Dev reaches Sona's house within a minute of Saurav calling him. And then follows it with a proposal at a total different location. The makers have always expected and have been successful in getting a clever audience to watching this show. But were they expecting us to keep our BRAIN aside today? I mean SERIOUSLY!!!

5. What was the significance of the Proposal in today'e episode or the storyline? --> NONE
Yes it was TACKY (never ever thought or used this word for KRPKAB and hopefully wouldnt need to in future). I thought KRPKAB is so above all this. Could not see any Passion or Romance bwteen the 2. Like a big piece of the Puzzle missing. Felt like a big DISCONNECT. Like as if, even the Main Leads had no clue why was the Proposal happening. May be Proposal could have been saved for after Dev's redemption Assuming the so called infertility track is to show Dev's redemption by standing up for Sona and supporting her in all situations. But then why all this on Sona...she is always at the recieving end in all these tracks or so called twists. But anyways lets not go there.

6. Shaheer... I love you to the moon and back... but sweetheart its high time you do something abt your look/appearance. This is something we ALL have been talking abt since more than 2 months. Why arent Makers seeing this? Initially we all kinda let it go assuming it was a deliberate attempt for the Break Up phase. But now they really need to start working on his appearance. Past few episodes many of us noticed that he looks and sounds unwell. Ofcourse Appreciate and Respect that Shaheer doesnt make it obvious but we are so CRazy for the show that we pick it up. Another reason for Makers to have not clubbed the proposal in today's epi.

And dont even want to start on the so called Infertility track. Bad and sad timing that Makers give out such spoilers even before or rather on the eve of DevAkshi patch up. Why cant we just enjoy a few romantic DevAkshi episodes without such news looming on our heads? I mean dont we deserve it especially after patiently watching Crazy Posessive Iswari for weeks and then followed by the heart wrenching Break Up???

But being a die hard romantic at heart, I am hoping that its still not late for KRPKAB to get back its Style and stick to its originally promised close-to-reality and unique style of story telling and presentation. Please CVs / Makers...this is a humble request. I just hoipe you stumble upon this post and consider it.

This is just my whole point! Could not have said it better my self! and specially the part of rushing in to patch up without an mature talk and the lack of dev convincing sona. I truely hope cv's will give us back the old magic and realiticness of the show! Wich was the very reason i start watching this show and it is the only indian drama i am following because of its realistic approach and the chemistry between the leads. Both where missing today :(

Wow! Very good post! Each and every point that mention in this post were discussed among my friends yesterday.
Yes we all thought it was so disconnected emotionless episode. Don't know why cb's screwed it up big time when it is going high pace.
Same thing everyone thought why savrov have to call Dev so urgently n he ended up there in a min it was so so unnatural.
I mean scene was so boring n disconnected expect Asha's dialogues.
WAKEUP CV's!!!!! It's time now otherwise will have to pay big price!!!
