Dev , even now I feel is still the same ...nothing much has changed , so during a situation where in Sona is facing issues...I doubt if he will support...and infertility related topic is very sensitive and need husbands support for wife...so if Dev doesnt stand up for her , then I would feel his love for her is more of a joke!!

Anyways let us see the CV team has got up the sleeves!!

So many average husbands (arranged marriage) stand by their wives during this difficult time. If dev cannot stand by sona then i dontsee any reason to continue watching the show (there are 100 other shows where logic has no place).and sona should just divorce his ass off and let them rot in their selfish hell...But again i dont think cvs will do anything nearly as such.they are very sensible and actually understand th differnce betwen right and wrong / self respect and ego. Trust me it is very easy to get carried away .. I have seen a show ruined as cvs dont know the differnce... But krpkab has proved me wrong several times and only raised the expectaions..

Havig said that i am sure dev will say no but Ishwri and gkb will go ahead and find a girl and may even send her to trap dev but dev wont yield .. That is still far fetched.. Dont think cvs will make it so dramatic but it is possible

It is not just about conception but sustaining the pregnancy.. So it is understandable that they will show that sona is the one having issues..

Again think about it why should sona be the perfect one and she is the saviour and understanding person to deal with all the problems in the family .. For a change sona csn be shown as the vulnerable one and dev can be their to support her no matter what..

I am all for this track as long as they dont show Sona as a bechari abala naari with filmy style problems..as long as they show dev supporting her .. Going against his mom and family.. If they dont show all these scenarios how do u think they can redeem Dev..

@bold I am not a medical professional but have read a lot of articles and research on this topic and it is a misconception that women are more likely to be infertile. It's almost an even split but men's infertility is not openly discussed in most cases and such cases go unnoticed. They both have their own set of causes.Personally,I would be more interested in watching if Dev is the cause than Sona. That is something unexplored on Indian TV and as much a reality as a woman being infertile. Sona could be the supportive one and make Ishwari realise her value as Ishwari constantly questions her love.Dev could admit to the problem and not let it fall on Sona if she is blamed or criticised or questioned.

I feel this is very unnecessary to show that a kid himself is ready to father another kid Sona is just 26.. Is not expected to take care of both a manchild and an actual child 🤔
Or are we going to see that Dev is learning to respect Sona and value her feelings and importance through his child ? That their kid is pointing out things to Dev and Dev is learning all these ?

Great going 👍🏼👏😳

Like i said why the rates ar worse for women-- it is beacuse womans body has to do 90% of the baby conception and growth.. So the chances of having problem at one stage or the other is more likely .. For men it is just if the counts and morphology is good then they are given clean chit.. But for women there are so many things that can go wrong - i cant even list them all here .. I am not medical professional but i have gone through all this process and yes inmy case and my 10 other friends case it was always the woman for one reason or the other...i know few cases of male infertility too but the % is less when compared to women in my circle..

Having said that i am fine if they show that dev is the one having problems - but again my only concern is why should they make sona mahan all the time.. She is already doing a sort of charity by marrying dixits... Just to balance it off they can show sona vulnerable and dev to support..

I am not sure if even female infertility was shown and handled in a realistic approch on indian tv till now.. I think it will raise awareness as majority are female viewers.. Lets hope they handle this tracki well if at all there is such track.. Cant trust spoilers

@ BOLD ...very interesting thought...not sure if he will understand value of Sona thru his child...but he will start respecting his mom more because he will understand the value of being a parent...

As far as his behaviour is concerned...I feel that every individual is the product of his/her habits and behaviour that was developed in the childhood. So Dev's character might not change much I feel until and unless there is some huge incident which makes him change drastically .

You have described each n every thing so nicely 👏
N I completely agree with you
It has always been Sona handling Dev whenever he cries, whenever he has some problem or anything
But other than the accident thing, well that happened very long ago anyway and neither they were together so keeping that aside I don't remember a scene where Sona cries her heart out and Dev consoles her
It has always been the other way round
Nd if the infertility track focuses on Dev, what purpose would it serve to the story anyway?
Here if there is a difficulty with Sona, then atleast we can expect Dev being supportive towards Sona even if his mother says something or what, and isn't it what we want? Dev to stand by his lady? So I guess this whole track if properly shown would bring alot of changes in Dev(positive hopefully) between Dev and Sona's relationship. And that'll be the Dev Dixit that we want
And no, CVs aren't this stupid to show Dev not standing by Sona this time, they know that his galtiyo ki potli is already full. And no audience would acknowledge Dev not being supportive towards Sona in such a time
