Well I am actually wondering how is Dev going to patch up and do everything in the next couple of episodes(based on the spoilers).. looking at the way things have progressed this week- almost zero introspection and not being able to understand the "in your face" fact - would be interesting how its going to shape up.

what concerns me is his body language- probably reading too much here..but when Sona came to his office, he seemed to be pretty relaxed in his approach like the worries that were daunting him a couple of days back with her engagement etc. is vanished and that he is okay with the current state of affairs. the desperation or want of not having her was not visible..the expressions were more of "what are you saying? Ma has approved, whats the issue"🥱

PS: I don't want the ishwari convincing drama..puhleeez! I want to see Dev in Action.. its a story of a man and woman after all ..don't want anyone else to influence their decisions

Sona to Ishwari - My parents have taught me right or wrong. I can take my own decisions (unlike your son). The decision to not marry Dev, is mine and they will support me on this.

Ishwari to Sona - Where's your parents?

Me: Women, not everyone is as spineless as your son. Some people, mostly adults, actually make their own decision.

Sona to Dev - Where am I between you, your mother and your happiness?

Dev to Sona - Why can't you consider me when even mummy said yes?

Me: Are you serious? Do you need hearing aid? She is asking where is your consideration for her and you are saying she should consider you because your mother said yes? So if tomorrow mummy said no, should she have her bag packed ready to be dumped? Have you learned nothing from this separation? You are a hopeless case, Dev.

And you are also back with a bang Tia😆Glad to know your surgery went well.
I loved your entire post but I quoted the above part because for me it was the best way Sonakshi conveyed the issue to Ishwari. She very subtly tells her that I, (unlike your son) can take my own decisions which my parents will always support( unlike you )cos they know how important it is to take hold of your life and take your own decisions( unlike you) and that is what growing up is all about(but you are here for your son, so obviously its beyond you to understand(ok ok I might have felt the last part more than Sona😆)

Second part of the quoted portion: That was heights of dumbness. How dense could someone be?Sona come back cos mom said so?Wow*slow claps* such a reasonable and understandable request. How can you not obey God's wishes Sonakshi? After all you will be marrying her more than me.And see she is even more determined than me to get you back. Oh oops, he couldn't have thought that, he doesn't know the meaning of the word determination.

Ishwari considers her dysfunctional family as perfect(her definitions vary from the world's definition a bit) and Dev merrily goes along with it. Sisters are afraid to approach me or mom? They are always being sidelined?Who cares? My mom is perfect and her way of running the house the best. Now why would Sona say no? As for her family, oh do they matter? But me and my mommy wants you, where do they come into picture😕

As you can see, I am pretty frustrated with the kid refusing to grow up😆Do you think we could mail your posts to him? May be then the bulb lights up.

More than anything it's Dev's body language that is irritating me. He looked too relaxed.
After all he has got the approval from his MOTHER . Sona ka kya hai. Thoda drama karke maan jaayegi. 🤢

The worst part was that his total disbelief at Sona actually saying no to his mummy. Really?
