Today Sonakshi deserves a standing ovation. Girl, you are no doormat. You are Royal Bengal Tigress. This is what I call a woman of substance!!!

Sonakshi put into words everything I was saying in my post and my comments in other people's post, "A WOMAN IS NOT A TOY FOR A MAN TO PLAY WITH"...

Dev, did you get the lesson? Did you think that you will do hero entry and like fangirls Sona will drape all over you and agree to join your group of devotees?

Nope... This ain't the kind of animal you put a muzzle on, this is the kind of animal who will tear you into little pieces if you annoy her.

You worshipped your mother like God, let me introduce you to the mother of all Gods, DURGA!!! And no one knows Goddess Durga like a Bong chick...

Whether Sona was showing Dev the mirror or sharing her pain and disrespect in front of her Dada and Elena, she was impeccable.

The mistakes she made by inviting Dev to her engagement, in my opinion, she redeemed it when she didn't jump into Dev's arms after her father's massive humiliation and insult. Today she was an ideal daughter, an ideal lover and an ideal woman...

Dev was his typical simplistic self.

Ishwari: Go get my daughter in law... Rainbow, sunshine, unicorn...

Dev: Mummy, it's impossible.

Ishwari: Popsicle, Stars, Lemonade...

Dev: Really? You have made the happiest person in the world. Even on my honeymoon I will think about you.

Ishwari: Sure. Remember who makes you happy.

Dev goes to Sonakshi to get all the flowery nonsense kicked out of him...

But today I was intrigued by Ishwari. I have a very bad feeling about her in spite of her recital of Motherhood 101 textbook.

She with her brother: Brother, I am responsible for Dev and you are responsible for me.

Me: Facepalm. It's called adulthood, Ishwari. Adults take responsibility for themselves. Look up the definition of adulthood.

Ishwari with her son: *Flowers*, *Unicorns* *Motherhood* etc etc. (Sorry I had to tune out there because I thought I'd gag)...

Ishwari with her daughters: When you find someone bring him straight to me.

Me: Because you don't give a damn about them. The sooner they get lost, the better. Phir Tum aur Tumhara beta aksar yeh baatein karte hai...

Ishwari Continues: May be I will never get the pleasure of choosing my children's life partner.

Me: Ishwari please note, it's your children's life partner, not YOUR life partner. You are the prop, not the performer here. Find your pleasure elsewhere.

Ishwari: Mother wants children to be happy. But when they get stubborn, sometimes mother has to give in. But that's not wrong. I lost but I also won.

Me: Of course you did. If Sone agrees, then they will forever be grateful to you for your permission hence will be under your thumb and if she denies, then you got your Goddess status back in your son's eyes and Sona got the "vampy" role of ungrateful ex.

I feel Sona is not going to have a smooth ride with Ishwari goddess even if she agrees to marry Dev...

P.S. What is this third person talk nonsense!!!

Dev: God, Goddess!!!

Ishwari: Maa, Mother, Mummy!!!

What over-inflated sense of self like the Royal "We"!!! So annoying to hear...

She deserves the praise.. She was a girl with dignity, self respect and pride and not a blind teen lover. On the other hand DEv again was in his own mata world thinking that Sona will accept him bcoz his mata has approved her - so dumb- still has no idea of the hurt he inflicted on sona..

Dev feels bad about Sona's broken engagement and again Eeshwari makes it about herself! Bring Sona as my bahu for my happiness as my happiness is in your happiness. Really! As if the hurt Sona and her family suffered didn't matter at all.
And this Dev still didn't get it. Hope now that Sona worded it clearly, he finally gets it.

🤣🤣👏You are a ⭐️Tia.

She with her brother: Brother, I am responsible for Dev and you are responsible for me.
Me: Facepalm. It's called adulthood, Ishwari. Adults take responsibility for themselves. Look up the definition of adulthood.

Me: Oh God, seriously. So aptly said. She needs somebody to read her the meaning of adulthood.

Ishwari with her son: *Flowers*, *Unicorns* *Motherhood* etc etc. (Sorry I had to tune out there because I thought I'd gag)...

Nope. Dev needs to get over the need to get his mother's acceptance and treat Sona with respect. Sona shouldn't need or have to do anything. A woman wants to marry a man, not a man and his mother.

Her first and only priority is her husband. So she should be the first and only priority to her husband as well.

Her relationship with her family should not be any different than his relationship with his family.

If she comes last to her husband's priority list, then her husband should come last on her priority list as well.

It's 21st century and about time women gets their equal place.
