😆 see i did not see Ritvik standing up for Sona!! ! When Sona said I told him everything... Its then that he pitched in.. .. . And what did his dad say... . I will have to rethink about the decision... . And Ritvik was stumped too and followed his dad out.. Did he oppose when his Dad silenced him.. .. NO. . .. OK not bringing in Dev here but I dont see that Ritvik did anythibg different!! ! Kahan hai different.. .. dikhao.. . Id like to see. Ritvik too did what Dev has been doing.. .. If it was that simple... This visibility that he is aware of Sona 's past should have been explained by him to his dad... no??? Why..? Coz he has been shown to be a frank and practical person... I expect him now to have taken care of this situation in the way he has been shown to handle Sona' s relationship issues.. . ... the crux of the matter is.. .. Neither did Dev speak for Sona in front of his mom.. . Nor has Ritvik spoken in front of his dad as such.. .. I see no difference in approach... Show me please if there is.

And to add.. I absolutely abhor the Boses pleading to them in order to save the marriage. Mr Bose who threw the jewellery box back on Ishwari saying Sona is his pride could not say a word on this... OK I agree its embarassing but its not like Sona did a mistake in falling in love... she did fall in love is a fact that cannot be changed and were we not told that Ritvik had a past too... Then why this reaction!? ?? OK may be because his love affair was not out in the open or assuming the kind of sane up bringing he has had.. . He may have or may nit have told his dad... I dont know!! It was a hidden past or an open one does not change the fact that he did do it! once again same situation has been created ..the girl is being judged like Ishwari judged Sona and now Ritvik's father is judging her, his Son has a past too !! ! its becoming more like the rectification of some action gone wrong! Is this the only way to move on... Do it... . Just do it at any cost... . Is this not the same kind of pressure on sona to attempt to make this work anyhow... Somehow.. Just like it is on Dev to leave Sona.. .. Aren't both set of parents coaxing their children to follow what they want... all this is just so complicated.

I agree. Since ritvik knows everything ... I was expecting the father son to come to bose house to tell them not to worry... Looks like ritvik and his dad did not even discuss anything at their home or while coming to Bose family. Not sure how understanding they are .. Thanks and this is all I am saying... . We have not even seen a fraction of what Ritvik is and here I am discussing him as a standalone character and not comparing to Dev at all... I dont have objection on anyone's opinion of Dev but as of now I have not seen much of Ritvik to make me believe he is perfect.. .. I dont know how he behaves when he is angry.. . I dont know what he does when he is stressed out... I saw that he too could be silenced by his dad in front of Sona's family and once said... He followed his dad out. The point im making is I need to see him in different situations rather than all the goody stuff he has been involved in and I dont think im anywhere wrong in wanting to see him in an unfavorable situation. .. Saw one today and he was not much different from Dev. Sigh

Rithwik didn't discuss it with his dad coz as per sona and him, the relationship is done and dusted. He as a mature adult didn't need to discuss it as it was no longer part of the present as per his understanding.

I quit shipping Devakshi the moment Dev started his stalkerish behavior, sadly knowing that to no doubt 'redeem' Dev's character in their nonsensical way, they'll likely assassinate Ritvik's character, whom I have come to respect. The final clincher I'd say, for when I decided to quit the show altogether, was when Dev and his mother were having a lengthy conversation on the phone about how sorry and in anguish he is that he forgot to chhu her pavitra feet before leaving for work for the day.

as far as I know the engagement is still on which means he convinced his dad and family and that is something Dev hasn't done and I doubt will ever do.

Sure.. But why did henot discuss it with dad and explain how her ex has been causing issues since a few days when his dad got all angry when he saw the news paper. He disnt even open his mouth until sona told mr . Sen that sh already told rithik everything.. Why did rithik not try to explain to his dad at home ??
When did dad asked him to shut up .. He just did that..

I am totally ok with rithik yelling at dev anyone would have done that ..

Alsoi am so glad cvs showed that rithik is a normal human and he too gets angry.. Otherwise i was starting to think he is saint rithik or reincarnation of mother teresa..
