A real life couple around the same ages as DevAkshi would not be satisfied by hugs and mushy conversations. I wish the writers would bring the ~realistic~ factor to the romance, by just increasing the intimacy. Not full blown makeout scenes, but just what a boyfriend would do with his girlfriend if they were alone in a room. ( 😳 )

Hayeee! I can only dream! 😳

This is the thing we don't want gross type scenes. I am not for that. I just like the filmy tv serial intimacy. Countless Heros have moved that strand of hair and tucked behind heroine's ear! It's a classic yet just thinking about Dev doing that to Sona makes my heart skip a beat!!! I am happy with these small gestures and the thing is we all know that for Shaheer and Erica even such small physical romance will give an atom bomb impact! We all will be dead and gone to devakshi heaven!! That's all we want in this agony track!

My guess is Shaheer's contract must state that "no kissing scenes".. that is why writer's are refraining from showing too much closeness.
But last night's episode when they were parting needed the hug so much... It would have been a complete scene..sigh!!!!!!!

Love is definitely pure. And physical love is part and parcel of that pure love. Closeness is not unnecessary. It is required. It is a need. I am not talking about sex, although even that comes under a form of expression of love.

If our partner is in pain, we hug him / her. We try to share that pain through that hug. We try to tell him / her that he / she is not alone.

When a man and a woman fall in love, wanting to touch, hug and kiss is natural. Hell, it is required. To express that pure love. Not everything can be conveyed through words and looks.

So yes, in last night's episode, one last tight hug - them crying in each other's arms would have made the wonderful scene even more perfect. It was not needed for the viewers. It was needed for DevAkshi.

Yes!! Completely agree with you. I understand some people are uncomfortable with seeing the physical attributes of relationships on tv, but it's part of love. I'm not saying to show them having sex, but at least a kiss or a hug-something!! It makes their relationship less convincing since their's no intimacy between them other than their words (which are very sweet and all but still..)

Indian serials for the most part refuse to show kiss scenes anyway- it's deemed inappropriate for their audience. But cheek, forehead, neck, hand kisses are definitely not banned. We got two cute kiss scenes already, why can't we get passionate ones too? 😭

Well may be I'm totally wrong. .but I have a different guess..
After patch up , Devakshi will work together to clear maataji 's insecurities according to the story.. At that time they r together (as a married couple or as lovers) but couldn't get intimate coz of situations. . In that track they planned to give us surprising stolen kisses, hugs etc... and dev pissed of as he couldn't get time and privacy with sona that triggers him to act in his mother's possessiveness. .may be ..don't know these r high hopes..

So may be the cvs concentrate abt intimacy , passion in future tracks when their relationship reached the next level..just a wild guess.

Then I completely against the statement that Shaheer -Erica are not comfortable in these scenes. .guys we r seeing how much dedicated and pure professionals they r..pls don't doubt their professionalism. . In one radio -interview Erica too answered to one fan's question abt the lack of intimacy. ."we could (shaheer&me )never decide abt this.what we r asked to do that we r doing.
Shaheer and Erica's previous works has scenes like that..

So conclusion is we have to wait..
P.s ..purely my pov

I just love the pure romance close to reality, which u dont get to see on indian tv nowaday. Even the rain sequence was full of purity. I m sure CVs ll def show some more romance after marriage and all that and that would be worth to watch at that point. This serial is getting so close to my heart just because there is no longgg eyelocksss, dupatta clinging to the watch and all that filmi things. Sorry dear just my POV. Love ur post though.

Omg yes I agree- I hate eyelocks. They're so unnatural and lengthy for no reason.

I think their pure romance is cute, but wouldn't it be so hot if Dev pinned her to a wall to try to kiss her... 😳 Seems like we'll get scenes like that after their marriage.
