Every ML in desi show is flawed. Every single one of them. They all have their mommy, daddy and other issues which is used to justify their abusive ( yes Dev is emotionally abusing Sona) and other antics.

If you have to go back to his initial episodes to draw a parallel then that is sad for the show. They have changed, atleast the equation. While he may have toyed with Sona in the capacity of an employer and as a power broker , he is now in love what has changed in his behaviour from episode no 10 to now? Is this character stagnant and there is no variation at all.

Has love made him another Ishweri where they both are dictating the lives of people they claim to love by force, control and power? How are they any different.

A 28 year old guy who has seen his sister struggle with rhistas and broke engagement fears , doing the same to another girl. Nice.

100 odd episodes down, Dev Dixit should have grown a pair , a spine and learnt to not dictate the lives of another..such a waste.

Even I love Dev nd devakshi but writers completely lost it by showing dev as a obsessive stalker nd a control freak!!

He bloody broke up with her nd is behaving as if she left him for someone else..😆

Can people plz stop justifying his acts in d form of love nd his past..

This show is sending a very Wrong message period!!

I think the makers are themselves confused about the plot and this maniac behavior of Dev is just a TRP gimmick I hope it has improved otherwise it's a shame

Dear TM, keeping tabs on a a girl without her consent is not stalking. Making decisions and controlling her life is not obsessive and crazy.. Who cares if the girl is right or wrong yaa.. The boy loves her and that's what matters na😳
"How can you move on", "how can you love someone else when I'm still in love with you", "I will not let you make this mistake", " You can only love me and will not be happy marrying some one else"...how romantic😳

It does not matter if Dev does not have an ounce of courage to talk to his mother, Sona still needs to wait for him without Dev's assurance that some day he is going to convince his mother. Sona is expected to have the same wifi connection with Dev that he shares with his mother.

Dev knows that he cannot continue his relationship with Sona...so why pull all this crap? people justifying his actions is way over my head.

I promised myself that I will stop ranting... Meri Kuch nahi ho sakta😆

If this show is realistic as they claim.. They should address Dev- Ishwari's psychological issues and show that they are getting some help. Because in reality, people like Dev are labeled as crazy.

There is nothing wrong in getting help. It will be disappointing if Dev gets a free pass for all the crazy stuff he has been doing post breakup.

If Dev was spineless he would be sat in a corner crying and doing absolutely nothing. And I think right now he has an issue with her moving on with someone so quickly because he knows that she still loves him so by marrying someone else at this point in life, she will be unhappy.

I don't think he intention is that she should never marry.

He can't help but want to protect her and make sure she is ok end of the day, u can't move on in a day. He can't just stop caring and loving for her. If CVs showed that, you would be the first to complain that Dev is heartless.

His family is his responsibility first and his affections towards them come next., but Sona is his love and from the time she has entered his life there was life in his life. Previously he was portrayed having a mechanical life with more responsibility in it than emotions. And when the heart is hurt badly , brain stops thinking. It has happens to all of us in small instances of our life too. And here this is such a blow to Dev, so this behaviour is expected. Dev dikshit has been showed as a flawed character since the beginning.

U mean, spineless is for someone sitting in the corner and crying, and not for someone who lacks courage to face the consequence of his decision ?

Why are people blind to notice that Dev is doing everything for HIMSELF. . and why are people trying to justify him dping everything for sona ? He is doing every single thing for HIMSELF.

He cant marry her.. Cant go against his mother, what does he expects then ? Girl should wait till he or his mother have a miracle psychic treatment and they both come back to her ?

If hee family is thinking of arrange marriage, they are absolutely right.. And if sonakshi is giving a chance to it, its her choice, no one forced her and Ritwik is a great guy ! Tell me what is wrong here ? Nothing !

Dev cant have best of both worlds.. He need to stand up and more importantly realize what exactly neurotic things he is doing. I cant argue anymore on this, especially its disheartening to see so many girls trying to support Dev. If it happens in real life, just imagine the impact it will create in your life and how distraught you are going to be.. Someone you loved, cannot even let you live in peace. Pathetic.

I agree with your post Dev has not changed one bit, I thought love and some sense will rub on him when he fell in love with Sonakshi.

No he has become worse and falling more low each episode. I just can not believe some are justifying Dev's crazy, maniacal antics in the name of love.

What Dev is doing is not love, his selfishness is shown so clearly. What ever he is doing is only for himself, this is never about Sona's happiness but HIS.

All of this is about HIMSELF, if he really cared or loved Sonakshi, would have respected her wishes and not do what he is doing.

Sona is an adult has a loving family and is her right to make any decisions regarding her life.

Who the hell is Dev to interfere with her life decisions, when he can not even give her any guarantee himself of having any sort of future with her.

That means whatever he is doing is WRONG, whether seen from one eye or both. That is all i said in the post, how difficult is this to accept ?
