Thank you everyone for the amazing response. It was so good to see people sharing their views with an open mind rather than bashing. Some of the replies were so nicely put that they made me think.

Male love is different which very few girls understand though they pretend to understand (No offence intended). Psychologically most of the guys are just dumb about love - their understanding of love is just liking and attraction. Male love lacks empathy. Just to draw a fact - most of the guys get furious over their wives and GFs and many a times show cruelty - revenge (as DEv is doing here too).

How one can be so cruel to someone he loves. ????

A man generally understands the real love when they actually mature and its an irony that its normally the middle age. This is one of the main reasons for younger girls falling for married man in extra marital affair.

this is what the CV's should have shown... ideally i would have loved to see this because some men are stuck between mother and GF in reality 😆 but in this show before dev could get to that point he cut off all relationship with GF at the first sign of trouble... he didnt attempt to form a plan with her about finding a way to work with his mother... he felt the need to pick and choose a side.. he ended the relationship with gf... she is no longer his GF for him to be torn between mother and her, but somewhere he still looks at her in that manner and still does absolutely nothing to find a way to sort out the problems his mother has with the girl...

And from the latest segments it's pretty clear that this behavior of his will continue in an even enhanced degree for quite some more time 😕

I mean , I thought once Sonakshi gets the vows from him , gets him to promise her that he won't try to meet her , talk to her , see her or even think about her and Dev gave his word ( I'm saying it based on the segments and trusted site articles , I'm aware that it has not been shown in the show as of yet , in case any body wants to point it out to me 😉 ) , he'd not face her ever again with out some thing concrete in hand , like dealing with mother , having with her the much needed "talk", or more unlikely , decide to altogether to hell with his mother's disapproval n just go get Sonakshi and get her back in his life .

But no , from today's segments it looks like he'll go to Sona n R's engagement and do big tamasha 🤪 .

How far are they gonna drag this character down ?? 🤬Kudos to the writer because I thought that's not even possible any further , but I guess I underestimated them. 👏

Dev is behaving like that bratty spoilt kid who first failed in the exam , and instead of studying hard for the re-exam, is gheraoing the principle and going hunger strike movement for " justice."

Why the writers think they need not give the male lead any agency any sense of decorum or even sanity ??

He's behaving insane this days . To quote Shaheer , " Nowadays Dev has reached that emotional state where he doesn't know any more what's right n what's wrong . He can literally do any thing. "

It's only Sona's love for him that's acting as his protection or the stunts he's pulling nowadays , any clear headed girl ( whose eyes are not blind folded by loveria ) would've sent him straight to jail for harassment n stalking.

Some times wonder , if she actually enjoys being stalked n harassed by her ex, who emotionally abused her during break up ( come on , we've seen the break up , it's my previous love and respect for the character Dev that's preventing me from writing a harsher word that's in my mind to describe what he did to her on that day n from onwards continuing ) . stockholm syndrome or masochism ??

The way this story is porgressing I would suggest lets keep this thread on until it reaches 150 pages 😆

Who knows we might have to discuss the behavioral changes in some more characters

I don't know about other characters but the way CVs are progressing - lot of opportunities will come to discuss MLs Psychiatric issues😆

Nope. I don't get this whole , "I will turn into this or that thing". Regression in character and story. Dev Dixit got what he wanted by hook or crook, remember hiring Sona.

Honestly, desi tv needs to learn that if you want to show a love story then , make it healthy, it's not too difficult. Never kill that basic respect or progression in a character.

Nothing here makes sense whatsoever. Will he ever talk to his mother about Sona at all.

I thought I was the only one who thought that the story was going nowhere. Everybody on the forum was so happy and I was like 'he's still stalking Sona, what's new?'
