At least Sonakshi didn't create a scene and thrown him in jail thinking of Soha and Golu. One child who was excited for this trip, another who will have to return home if his guardian is sent away. However, had she created a fuss including calling police, the whole forum will be preparing her funeral for the same reason that she didn't think about Soha and Golu.

He doesn't even have the honest courage to admit to his daughter what he did. If he is so innocent, then why not let Soha know what he did? Why did he stop her?

Is this a new thing Tia? He constantly told Sonakshi that he was okay being childless as long as she was there with him and the next moment he'd go to his mother and declare that Sonakshi was ready for the fertility treatment. How tough was it to get this simple point across and tell the truth to his mother? But did he do so? No! He was, is and will always be suffering with the "mahaan complex" where you're a loser but act like the greates creature on earth.

If Soha asks Sonakshi about every single action of hers, Sonakshi won't hesitate to answer. But can Dev say the same? Could he stand by his actions? Take accountability for them and still hold his head up in front of his daughter? That just proves how unsuitable he is to take anyone's responsibility.

When Soha grows up and asks about her parent's separation, would Dev have the courage and honesty to reveal the truth to his daughter? Would he be able to tell her that he was so spineless that he couldn't take a stand for his wife? Would he ever tell her that he claimed to love Soha's mother but never really did anything to prove it? If not then he can never be suitable to take her responsibility.

Sorry, anyone can be a father. But to be a dad someone can count on and look up to, one has to be a decent person first.

If I am not wrong doctor, doesn't it reek of entitlement and narcissistic tendencies?

Just sliding in. One scene from 13.03 episode really hit me. Ishwari says that "oh parents grow up with the kids and become good at their jobs". It's hypocritical since she has major problems with the fact that Sonakshi has made Soha very self sufficient and independent. "She stole her childhood away".

I don't understand where they are going with it. The whole I want Sohana to call me dad track is stupid, insane and makes me believe Dev is deranged. I know ultimately things will be okay and Sonakshi and Dev will be back. But I don't want that to happen. I'd rather have her be with Jatin, who is somewhat sensible and understands the child. He doesn't take him to be property or an obsession.
