The sincerity in which a person shows the remorse he has in him for being rude n over demanding unintentionally taking the other person for granted is perfectly conveyed in these dialogues.
He was always taught by his mother - "You have no time and you are in a race, where you have no 2 options but be successful and at the earliest." At this moment, am reminded of a flashback Ishwari thinks during the halwa time, how when she said I will make it for you and your friends. His reply was of an adamant boy who is unwilling to share and strange to see, the one who
needs to teach him the quality to share has not corrected him there, but took that as love. He has understood it this way...
I have heard from a lot many mature people that one's behaviour is shaped from their childhood. Jr Dev was to be corrected there only, but did it.. So who gets blamed for?
This go without any say that Dev is definitely more complicated than we all know him, and more of a mystery man which Sona found more exciting to unveil and in the process fell in love with the child-at-heart Dev, who is soft and nice unlike the person who built a wall around him n made himself shelved in so that others do not see his tensions and that makes him more cautious about being pretentious esp to his loved ones.

All he is aware is, he see himself so plain, so nice when she's around him, a different and better person who is more calm n relaxed, hency happy. Unlike those days, where he was never happy but a person who was constantly & subconsciously reminding himself his past horse line "No time, in a race, so need to be first n success is counted so". Just doing his responsibilities, which he thought is his mission of his life. The only reason for his survival, was to keep all around those who depend on him happy, which he failed time n again. The more he tried, the more he failed. So he chose to keep aloof and all to himself, sheltering to the pills for relaxation, and Tina for all the help he need even on the personal front. Tina, a very understanding and beautiful mind lady. She ensures her boss' life is all clear and sorted. The least she can do is, and in her one statement she did say... "Sir we are happy we could be of some help to an amazing employer n boss."
He once told his life story... he did not know what is the importance of colour in a life. He has not stopped by to see a rainbow yet or its beauty, but know everything technically. Imagine a life so bleak, robotic n meaningless, but yes that's our CEO Mr Dev Dixit. Hot and dashing, young, handsome n successful entrepreneur its always amazing to see a very highly known persona but how many of us know him still well?
His indifference to Sonakshi while he is breaking up... [still with haq he tells her, see Ma is suffering due to us, u should leave me - he was trying to put it all well - by removing her from trying more than her best for him, and going through disrespect when his mother is also trying n suffering] WRONG STEP --> he should have consulted her, asked her if she is still willing to go through all of this. He assumed that she doesn't deserve all this, and took decision on her behalf as well. That is his mistake - am glad mamaji will open his mind towards this, and he will take the necessary step.
His interference in Sonakshi's life post break up... [coz of him, she has lost her job not once but twice - this guilt is making him do the 3rd mistake - unable to accept the fact that they are strangers like how Sona had told] WRONG STEP -->He should have let her deal with the problems on her own, coz thats what he also told - leave him to deal the problems on his own.. the same apply to her too
His anger n frustration of spoiling a great relation and a wonderful soul... [coz of him, sona is so hurt n so is him..he knew only he could destroy n hurt Sona as she had placed him so important in her life] WRONG STEP --> no point trying to get angry n frustrated - act on what went wrong, and damage the repair soon, before it gets too late than simply keeping quiet to the reason of hurting Sona - take steps to redeem her
His taking for granted on Tina...[they share a friendly relationship at work, pretty close - and in the process he has taken her for granted - Tina understands him so well, and she has never refuted to his emotional outbursts - that is very rare of him, to show himself vulnerable at work, but she finds him a man of a kind] WRONG STEP --> Learn to respect the person who try to support you. Say sorry, which you always do.. and mean it too. Try n not to remove your frustration on anyone else. People MU you...
His style of talking to Health n Nutrition Owner... [he himself is an employer, and respect and make new employees also comfortable, he doesnt even treat his rivals professionally - he is emotionally supportive with his employees, ignores their mistakes n gives them another chance and he expects the same with the one he make deals with.. Oh yea, in the other guys case, Sona is his new employee - he wants to ensure a stress free environment for her, as he has messed her life balance n she is emotionally low at the moment - which will take time for healing and he doesnt want her to feel inferior at her performance review by a horrible employer] WRONG STEP --> he was making the deal employer was coz he wanted to ensure Sona is fine, and doesnt know to let go of Sona apne haal pe
His worshipping his mother so devotedly... [he has seen his mother sacrifice and live like a servant all for surviving life and all for them. Who played role of dad n mom for him this level of sacrifice can be done by God only. And we have no right to hurt our God.]WRONG STEP --> True your mother sacrificed a big deal of her life for you, but she is still human with flaws n not God. Sit with her, understand her why she is not happy with your happiness, remove her insecurity. Communication is vital, not decisions without telling why you did it. Breakup was certainly the worst decision ever.
He stalking behind Sonakshi every single place... [Sona was oxygen to him. Imagine a lifeless person in ICU with a ventilator.. he is unable to breathe. He is being selfish here, as he is still true... He needs her all for himself]WRONG STEP --> This is not a joke Dev. Stalking is the worst level of being intrusive in a person's life, esp who is a stranger. Understand this point. So now if you have become a stranger, learn to befriend her and win her heart back if she is so important to you as much as your life. Talk to your God, and make her understand that for your life, you need her. Do not disrespect God's plan for you.. the light who was there in your life, so go for Sona not as a stalker but as her man you promised to be for her.
What can you understand from all of the above?
He is nothing but a confused man, with a whole lot of racing thoughts when it comes to the emotional aspect... A low EQ, but high IQ guy. Technically, he knows how to deal with people.. but emotionally he is a very weak person. In his very young age itself, he has seen more in life that he could deal. Neha's bitterness towards him and the relatives and world mocking at a family penniless. He understands money is a necessity, but other aspects he has not understood well.
A small food for thought.
God has sent an angel Sonakshi to earth for a purpose, to be a lighthouse for Dixit mansion and love Dev and heal him from his past wounds n bitterness. Make him a strong individual and not pretentious. To make Dev a better person, 'coz at heart he is a very nice person. And no one can take away this from them as all of this is God's plan.
