I find this really amusing actually that it's mostly the girls/women here who are questioning Sona's love. So to all the people who think she doesn't love him or is moving on too quickly please do tell me what do you think she should have done instead? I am really curious and genuinely want to know.
Do you expect her to sulk and cry over him and beg him to come back to her?If she's trying to move on isn't that a good thing? Especially when Dev made it clear that he would always choose his mum over her. The girl has no hope left now so why would she not want to get out of this depressing phase of her life as quickly as she could? I would want to if I were in her place. One can only fight for their love if their partner is even the slightest bit supportive and actually want to maintain the relationship but here she's fighting a one sided battle which she is bound to lose as Dev will never give up on his mum.I truly admire her strength of not wanting to sit in a corner and cry but getting on with life and wanting to see her family happy. Also had she not loved him she would not have stuck by him when he wasn't willing to reveal their relationship to others and was being selfish and thinking about only his family.. 'meri family,.. 'tum log'... anyone???So it's actually his love that I would want to question! Did he really love her or was he just in love with the idea of having someone to share the load of his worries with?

I think we all should calm down because this rush seems planned.
And if engagement is happening it might be some trigger from Dev so sona takes thus rash decision and this will trigger Dev to take decision of not letting her go even when he knows mommy is not happy about this.actually ..we all wanted realisation from dev's side not like when mommy asks him to go back to sona..so for this Dev needs to realize that if he will not so anything ..sona is gone..so Bette the buck up or be ready for crying buckets forever and suffocate himself .meeting would be surely her parents forcing for this..she will find the guy nice but as friend...I still feel engagement would be done again after some trigger which will make sona lose her senses and go for it

There's a huge difference between 'falling in love with the man she's getting engaged to' and 'making an attempt to move on', my dear! Yes, she is choosing Rithwik over Dev and I salute her for her decision, you know why? Because it just shows what a strong personality she possess, and that no one, absolutely no one has even the right to wither that trait of hers. However, does that really tell us that she didn't or still doesn't love Dev? If that was the case, then she would have never ran down the stairs hallucinating Dev's car's horn, she would absolutely not waste her time in looking at their pictures on her laptop and she would have definitely forgotten Dev by now, making another set of mushy gushy promises with her so called new love while sharing pistachio ice cream in one cone! 😃 now, the decision is yours to make on whether she really loved/loves him or not😳

I agree with the fact that Sona getting married/engaged is really unacceptable because moving on from your first love at this pace is quite unbelievable but I can never agree with the fact that Sona didn't love Dev.
I think Sona loved him much more than Dev loved her. She has been through the pain of being in one sided love. She has also been in the phase of being loved by the man she loves. She tried hard to be a daughter in-law that his mother wanted. She tried really hard to fit in the Dixit family. She supported Dev throughout. If that's not love then what is?Dev on the other hand got everything he wanted. He never yearned for Sona, never had to go through the pain of knowing that his love considered him as a friend. When he wanted love, he got it. When he felt like breaking up, he got that too. It's Dev who was unable to defend their love, not Sona. He didn't love her enough.
too many assumptions here based on spoilers that hype a track and ask questions like.. Will sona marry😉 etc. etc. etc.
Sona's feelings have always been shown genuine and honest. she has always been shown more mature, patient, fighting for relationship, respectful to Dev's family and caring. On the other hand, Dev's love, his decisions are self focused, his desire to fit sona in his family... all rushed to the point that he didn't even once bother to meet with the girl he thinks is her life partner... her parents? he was quick to take wedding vows in his mind, quick to forcibly fit her in family pic before marriage.Plus, she is not the one who broke the BIG promises she made.. Dev made big promises and broke them in a second.. without fighting for their relationship Sona's hurt is... he didn't even try😭Although, I love Devakshi and want a happy ending. in Real life... no independent, strong, respectful girl would marry Dev after how things folded here for her. no amount of "sorry" or "maa maan gayi" will make a girl become part of self absorbed Dixit clan. I would love to see how CVs handle Ishwari/Dev repentance track and the rest of tamasha watching Dixit clan. Dixit household is emotionally controlled and backmailed by Ishwari where grown, mature kids have zero voice. Only one strong enough, despite how ishwari raised her, is Neha. Hopefully, Dev will be shown learning from her at some point.

If Sona didn't love Dev, then no telly couple loved each other ever 😛 Just because she is portrayed as a strong woman who sticks to her words and DOES consciously make an attempt to move on and make her parents happy, that doesn't mean she never loved Dev.. This is how it works in real world dear.. She is socially and physically moving on.. But the emotional aspect is still there, and I'm sure they are not going to show Sona falling in love with Rithvik so soon.. Your parents find a match for you after heartbreak, and you agree to the marriage and grow friendship with the new guy, in future she might fall in love with this guy as well given Rithvik can value her love which Dev couldn't do.. The whole thing is very real.. And that doesnt erase ir disapprove of her past.. Else she won't have shared Dev's affair to Rithvik.. But as per the segment she tells Rithvik everything.. And Rit helps her move on.. !!

I am shocked to read this. Dear she was the one who loved him unconditionally even before his confession. It was Dev who got everything easily. Sona was already in love with him so he did not have to do anything for her. All this while Sona has been the giver in their relationship.
Dev always acted impulsive and called himself selfish for being in love when it came to his family. Like during Neha's wedding he regretted giving time to Sona over Neha. Then too Sona never misunderstood him. She tried so hard to impress his mother and fit in their family. Did Dev make any efforts to talk to her family even once? For him it has always been his mother or Sona. So when the time came he chose his mother. So what Sona is expected to do.I do not find Sona wrong if she tries to move on. Has Dev given her any hopes that they can get back together. No right? She will agree to meet this guy for her parents sake. If Dev can breakup for his mother then why Sona can't meet this guy for her parents? Its just the pace of the show that is bothering. They could have concentrated on her career right now. But again we can't blame Sona for anything. She can't wait for him her entire life when there is not a single ray of hope.
