'Abhi toh mazaa aane laga tha': Jagriti's Anupama Solanki on her character ending in show

Though Anupama Solanki is disappointed that her character in her latest show, Jagriti: Ek Nayi Subha, is ending, she is not heartbroken. She had a great time working on the show and is hopeful that the next opportunity is not far away. However, she did mention that her character had the potential to survive for a few more days.

She mentioned that her character Sudha was positive from inside and dabang from outside. She said, "My character had 10X potential in the show. A Dabang character is more challenging compared to a positive character and a negative character because you cannot go too loud or you cannot go too down. You need perfect balance. 'Chai mein na jyada cheeni na kam cheeni.' I have just this regret that I just came in my form, and if I stay 2-3 months more, then I take this character to the next level as an actor."

"Of course my character did not cover the full story. The potential of the character Sudha was very strong, and her presence speaks for itself. Sometimes you feel that you can justify the character, but due to xyz reasons it’s not happening, then you feel, 'Yaar abhi to maza aane laga tha' (Had just started to enjoy myself)," she added.

Anupama has been part of shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Nath – Krishna Aur Gauri Ki Kahani, and Jamuniya, to name some. With each character she has picked up, she has proven her versatility. She is not worried about getting her next work. In fact, she said, "'Jitni zaroorat humein kaam ki hai utni production houses ko bhi acche logon ki hai' (like us, even production houses need good actors)."
