Ok I've many thoughts bubbling in my mind since a long time regarding this whole break up issue n I've thought and read about it in length from different angle , and this is what I think right now.

It's not even so much about the fact that Dev broke up , more importantly he did it in the worse way possible. He did it in the wrong time , no body should take such an important decision when his mother is in hospital , once the water cools down he should've turned over the entire event in his head in a calm manner and then have a discussion with Sona, and ultimately politely nicely asking her to let him go as he can't take such risk with his only parent's life and promise her that he'll try his level best to bring Ish around to accepting Sona whole heartedly and tell her that in the mean time she could wait for him or she could move on, the decision lies with her.

That'd have made him so much of a better person, and better life partner because then he wouldn't come across as if he's literally kicking Sona out of his life and giving her equal share in the decision making. He should've had this much trust on Sona that she'd have let him go , if he'd requested. But at least it wouldn't have been such an ugly blow to her self respect n not just her feelings. Any girl would feel she's a piece of tissue paper after being treated like this.

And no girl would go back to such a guy no matter how much he toils later because she'd seen first hand this is how Mr. Dev Dixit functions when it comes to his precious mom. Why'd any girl or her family ever take such a stupid risk when they can clearly see this is how rashly he'll cut out Sona if she ever so much as poses as a threat to Ishwari's happiness and mental well being.

Nothing changes the core persona of a 28 yr old guy. Not completely.

Why'd Sona ever trust him enough that he won't do it again ?? What's the guarantee he won't divorce her point blank if his mother do some more mad antics over some issue post marriage? ?

So Sona must always live under the shadow of fear that her fairy tale castle is built on quick sand and any day some Ishwari tide can wash it away.

Some times I wish CAvs had handled the break up in a better way that's have left some scope for us to still root for the ML and for the couple to get back together.

Dev needs to change a lot. He says something and does something else altogether. He preached that in relationship there's no you or me there's only us . But behold he calls Sona's family as "tum log .." as if talking about strangers. By his own logic that he said mere seconds ago , should not her family his family too ??

Worse is the fact that how craftily this issue was shoved under the carpet with Dev completely side lining the issue and worse still even Sona completely ignoring the issue that her "lover" considers her family as insignificant strangers.

Worse still we viewers let ourselves forget the issue because the cvs shoved a damn lollipop in our mouths.

I don't know I mean isn't it weird that Dev will not ask anything to mommy or mamaji that why she does not like sona..according to spoilers he is all being good momma boy..keeping head in mommy lap..I mean in normal life when it happen when break ups are done because of parents..and it's quite common..but we dont get normal to parents immediately right...even if we accept their decision..there is always awkwardness and even some.complain from parnets that why they did not understand our love when everything was right..I think no one in this family has ounce of guilt that what happend to sona..and I hope cv shows Dev having some guilt..that what he has done to sona not just sulking over ki uski love life ki band baj gayi
