I had a very busy day today..still am busy.. I needed to see this to relieve my stress. Thank you so much for this wonderful update. Im so happy that CV's showed a sonakshi who isnt weeping and begging at his feet. All our questions sona asked dev. Unfortunately I wont be able to watch the episode tonyt 🤢 Will watch it online later.

Gosh sona said exactly what has been going on in my mind too over their impending break-up...

Did he love & dated her after taking permission from his mother... ???

that its not his alone decision to take, she was in it too... ???

how can he just end it like this.. without even trying to assuage ishwari, without making any actual attempts to do something about it??

& the best ...what happened to him? .. who loved her like a man loves his woman!!\

Two things that Sona said and I absolutely loved are-

1. You don't deserve me. ( Chalo kisi ne to kahe diya ! Bravo Sona ! What a kick ass FL ! )

2. That tashan wala - " Goodbye Mr. Dixit"

Hope she never turns back and completely moves on.

Ok I've many thoughts bubbling in my mind since a long time regarding this whole break up issue n I've thought and read about it in length from different angle , and this is what I think right now.

It's not even so much about the fact that Dev broke up , more importantly he did it in the worse way possible. He did it in the wrong time , no body should take such an important decision when his mother is in hospital , once the water cools down he should've turned over the entire event in his head in a calm manner and then have a discussion with Sona, and ultimately politely nicely asking her to let him go as he can't take such risk with his only parent's life and promise her that he'll try his level best to bring Ish around to accepting Sona whole heartedly and tell her that in the mean time she could wait for him or she could move on, the decision lies with her.

That'd have made him so much of a better person, and better life partner because then he wouldn't come across as if he's literally kicking Sona out of his life and giving her equal share in the decision making. He should've had this much trust on Sona that she'd have let him go , if he'd requested. But at least it wouldn't have been such an ugly blow to her self respect n not just her feelings. Any girl would feel she's a piece of tissue paper after being treated like this.

And no girl would go back to such a guy no matter how much he toils later because she'd seen first hand this is how Mr. Dev Dixit functions when it comes to his precious mom. Why'd any girl or her family ever take such a stupid risk when they can clearly see this is how rashly he'll cut out Sona if she ever so much as poses as a threat to Ishwari's happiness and mental well being.

Nothing changes the core persona of a 28 yr old guy. Not completely.

I completely agree with what you have said above I cannot even fathom how they can even redeem Dev after this..he may have been portrayed as impulsive but this to me is downright callous and is leaving a very bad taste

Thanks. My problem is that I hate typing long analysis though I've a very active mind but very lazy fingers but I've rad each and every comment in each n every post about this break up.

A few things that strike me is that people trying to defend Dev by two points mainly -

1. He'd always been like this since day 1 regarding his mother and we knew it, so what's the hu ha now ??

Ok but Sonakshi wasn't in his life since day 1 was she ?? When you decide to join your life with some one else's you need to make some changes and accomodations especially when you're with a person like Sona who's done what not as a accommodating lover. If you want to be in status quo then you don't deserve the happiness warmth n shelter that true love n pure relationship brings.

In short its now pointless how he was in the beginning. A lot of equation has changed since then.

if we deny it we might as well deny the 120 odd episodes and as well stay in episode 1.

2. He panicked seeing his mother's condition and reacted in an impulse.

Woww since when taking decisions and carrying them out in haste a fair n valid excuse ?? In which law ??

So if I kill a person in panic mode and on impulse I won't be punished ??

He could have immediately asked for a little break till situation with Ish improves. That'd have been the logical mature n morally correct thing to do.

He can fight for his mother's happiness he can fight for Neha's happiness. He can do any thing and cross all limits for his family happiness. But when it comes to Sona and their love he didn't fight at all. He proved that Sona is the only person in his life whom he doesn't consider worth fighting for.

So why are some members fighting on his side it just blows my mind off.
