I feel ishwari's behaviour it's more of evil side than human side. She is very dominating, over smart. I felt Dev is more on submissive and he always tried to keep mother happy. If he takes blessing from mother everyday, mother ego will be satisfied and she is happy. It has become habit for Dev to make ishwari's ego happy. Now its difficult to break his habit.
Being a mother, she never said everyday no need to touch feet my blessings are always with you. She never stopped him. She is egoistic mother.

As a mother, if she was just possessive, she could just tell him on his face. Why she should be scared. . Here she is plotting and wearing mask of goodness.. so, I felt it's a evil side and back biter.

But however possessive mother they are, but they want their son to be happily married. May be they will have tashan with DIL, but for son they want all the happiness. First time I am seeing things other way.

This serial, in fact good lesson to all genre. It gives message that even parents can go wrong.. It shows how to balance relations.

A bad mother can destroy the life of a child and here Ishwari had almost destroyed the lives of 2 kids Dev and Neha directly. If not for Ranveer, Neha was a gone case too. If not for Neha even Riya and Nikki would had been destroyed by Ishwari (again an 8-9 yr old was a better mother than an adult Ishwari). KRPKAB is a very good example of this. Ishwari had never been a good mother, not when the four were kids, not now when the four have grown up. Dev is what Ishwari made him to become. She never even made his understand why his annoyance with God is incorrect. In short she didn't even let God come between her and Dev, let alone human's (Neha, Riya and nikki).

I also don't blame RR. Relatives often do that for their own benefit. But Ishwari herself is wrong from the beginning. Ishwari is evil. She needs a strict psychiatric treatment and not Dev's talk with her.

I was hoping to see some changes in Dev after the breakup that would be shocking to Ishwari. But oh well I wouldn't comment on it yet and wait for what makers have in mind. At this point I have no sympathy for Dev and don't see a good human side of Ishwari.

When Ranveer can move out of the family to setup a house of his own, they need reasons like difficult house setup and lack of privacy.. And reasons like Ishwari doing the kitchen politics are not good enough to mive out of the house?! They have to play it very safe to keep the son's image well guarded amidst the mothers like Ishwari.. And we have to keep him on the pedestal of a dutiful son who will never do anything of that sort?! Aren't we expecting him to behave godly as well?! Hoping to see more of this Ishwari under the influence of Radharani doing more and more drama only to see a Dev who walks out of Ishwari's life.. all because of her own actions.. If only that happens then I can forgive the makers for spoiling Ishwari to this extent...

Anyway great to have used this thread to outburst my concerns about the way things are turned out.. You have been wonderfully patient and elaborating our discussion... 👏 catch you soon again..

i wish so too that dev wud rather move to another house than enduring such unnecessary drama...
but i guess this is also not the message that the makers want to gv...leaving house is one option that is always open but they want to show how ishwari will realize his own mistakes and immense damage she has done to dev's emotions...and then she will accept sona happily not only because of her son's happiness but also she will realize that sona is the perfect girl for this family...

lets see wat they hv to show in future episodes...only one thing i want watever they will show...i want dev to show ishwari explicitly that she has done wrong...i dont want him to become the brooding devdas till ishwari sees his unsmiling face and relent...

sona deserves better...her man shud go the extra step to get her and not sing sad songs till everything falls in place...

I have an aversion with the way the plot is treated now. It's like everything related to the woman who is at the power control mode and throwing everything possible from her side to give a tough time and everyone is expected to convince her to keep her feelings unaffected.. It's like they are only gonna justify all her actions later.. And unless she comes around on her own, Dev and Sona have no chance of opting their choice of life?!. whatever Ishwari is doing now, actually calls for learning her lessons the hard way... I am not confident with the makers whether they will put her through such a state.. Instead they may incline towards making her do a somersault after all her drama and will try to show her in good light. as if she did it all just for her son hiding all her real emotions.. only to throw more kitchen politics just to keep Dev dumbed all over again in guilt mode.. he may go like " my maa accepted you only because of me.. and we have to be more grateful for that.."

i understand ur concern and i hope and pray this wont happen...even i want ish to go the hard way...somersault is a big no...that is the reason y i hv always found this RR's character so annoying...i hope at the end they wont show that ish did everything because of GKB's provocation only...in the last couple of epis we hv seen sona going the extra mile to speak her mind in front of ish albeit in the most polite manner...
but i want to see dev one day speaking his mind too (if he at all has one) and not in an absolute polite manner...his voice and body language shud explicitly tell ish that he has abhorred all that she has done with sona and his relationship with sona...
i am still ready to trust the makers...the show has crossed 100 epis long back and still it is going strong...only if they stop stretching this current track which thankfully they r going to do in tmrw's epi since ish is going to take the pills...
