Hi ARCH, WORD and this is what we are stressing in ur last post and even in my replies in this thread again and again. In the recent episodes(esp after ep100), they are loosing the balance between the characters and their actions. They need to handle the upcoming track very carefully and should not glorify her acts for the sake of sympathy and drama.
I am one of those who believe that martyrdom doesn't solve problems but it actually makes them worse. What Dev and his sisters are doing with Eeshwari is martyrdom. Putting her wishes above their own and looking for her happiness in everything they do. It's codependency. Every time Eeshwari wants something from Dev, she throws a fit or hurts herself and Dev does whatever she wishes so that she can be happy. That's totally unhealthy. I don't wish Sona to try and pacify her. She needs to speak her mind like Neha.
Every parent gives their all in raising their children, but that doesn't mean they have a right to expect the child to be bound to them for life. That's against laws of nature. Babies always leave the nest once they grow wings and the mother should be happy for them. If she is feeling lonely, she should find something useful to do with her life instead of sucking the happiness out of their families.
@Bold: Am right there with you...I am worried of this with the imbalanced manner things have been! With them showing Dev's knee jerk reaction of leaving Sona after Ishwari's overdose, we already have the lead doing exactly what this mother wanted . Did we just give her the key to her problems? A TM in this thread highlighted how some of her friend's parents resorted to this method to get their kids to agree to their ways. Will Dev end up showing them how correct their method is? Regarding break-up, at present we only got the ruff idea of the driving factor but lets wait for the execution to know the actual driving factor for Dev towards break-up. Whether he is only worried for his Mom or he is also worried for Sona? What ever may be the case, ultimately by proposing break-up he is going to loose all powers of decision making in their relationship and Sona will decide about their relationship future in case if he comes back to her.In the upcoming episodes, the redemption track execution is very important. Instead of glorifying Ishwari they need to stress on how a parent stubbornness is going to damage their kids happiness. The main alarming thing here is these guys always try to justify or glorify Ishwari acts through infinite flash backs. While I have seen fan frenzy all around the world, I have seen that Indian audiences take media personally. We are emotional people as a group...I am worried that the overdose will just be used as a catalyst for the break-up, then Dev turning Obhodro & so-called angst... This will be so wrong...My love for the couple's love story has waned. How did they take a perfectly beautiful story development and turn it into such loss of promise (pun intended!)... This is just amazing! ... I chose Rustom over this last night... but I can't ignore the serious issue they are about to show on Monday. I want to see how they handle this. I know the result but am really hoping to be surprised!Fingers crossed. Lets just wait & see how they are going to execute this sequence.

Dev has a distance to travel from where he seems to stand today to rise up to how Sona's baba rightly described a relationship...In the upcoming episodes, the redemption track execution is very important. The main alarming thing here is these guys always try to justify or glorify Ishwari acts through infinite flash backs. She has a treasure trove of flashbacks and the makers are playing on the 'Maa' emotional quotient. But there must be a reason for showing the stark contract between Ishwari & Bose family. They insert a mature baba conversation or a Asha scene in between the Dixit house craziness, probably to show both sides of parenting... Maybe through Baba's words, they will convey how Ishwari's actions are unjust for any child... or maybe through a scene with Asha (Mother's perspective)...While I have seen fan frenzy all around the world, I have seen that Indian audiences take media personally. Looks like we have hijacked Sam's post. Lets just disappear from here before she throws us out.😆 Sorry Sam.😊At present, We can only hope for the best. I hope they bring him back to Obodro mode and not any Devdas mode.🤣Good to know about KY2, which episode is going on?
