Okay, I'm just gonna take a moment of silence to cry because this was honestly one of the best stories I've read in my entire life and it's so beautiful I want to cry. This FF has made me smile, laugh, mostly cry, and feel for Dev's character so much I just can't. I'm gonna miss waiting now so eagerly for you to post the next amazing chapter. It's not even an FF to me, it's so much more. And to be really honest right now, the plot of this FF made me much happier than the current plot of the show. Are you as annoyed and confused as me?! Because it feels like a whole chunk of eposides were taken out, no redemption, no true sorry, and no single Sona experiencing the world. I'm so furious because last week was so good and now...this. Whatever, I just want to thank you Malvika for analog me fall in love with DevAkshi again and that too, so endearingly. I hope you make more amazing FFs and I'll be the first reader, my promise.
If only they could meet life the same way - him & her!
As Dev said, 'we can do this'. This is how they needed to approach life - 2 people as 1.
Malvika - this is a beautifully written epilogue and fluidly visual as ever.
It seems fitting for 2 people who have gone through enough, lost and found each other to reach this point of togetherness. They are in sync.
Yes, parents will reach but this moment is their own!
Your story needed a fitting epilogue so we get a sneak peak of a future these 2 create.
What's happening in the show & the future that's planned there is so far removed that am unable to feel for the Dev-Sona onscreen. The characters in your story felt real emotions & dealth with them with sensitivity & love.
Thank you for the lovely story. Of course, I wish this was happening on screen but am going to take your visual story telling and let these characters stay with me.
Am not invested in what they do on screen anymore.
Big hug to you!
And sorry for getting here so late. It's been crisis week at work but I do hope we get more stories from you - either here or professionally. You definitely have the talent and a loyal reader in me 😃
🤗
Hey Malvika- what a way to end this beautiful saga of love! It's couldn't get any better, two people who always loved each other unconditionally ready to take that leap of faith with complete trust and belief in each other!
I am glad you kept family out of this as this was about them, their trust, their faith, their love and their child! Yes family is important but they can wait... these two just did everything right anticipating how each will react in the situation and what other had to do to keep the balance, this comes with understanding, faith, belief that only love can bring about and time can cement!
I am sorry for the late reply, I just got around reading it today-have stopped coming to forum on regular basis, not consistent with the show either-I think they lost me when Sonakshi went ahead with Ritwick angle still clearly in love with Dev- I thought here was the girl who knew herself more than anyone else and who was self-confident and practical but I cannot relate to her anymore!
Please do continue to write as your stories have such a visual appeal that all the emotions and feelings are thoroughly felt and experienced not only by the characters but also by readers taking them on the journey along! I look forward to many more beautiful rides-
Thanks for the PM - Please do keep me posted! Big Hug 🤗

🤗 I've missed youYou know, after the much needed haircut, I'm once again inspired to write about Dev-Sona. LolI purposely excluded Ishwari or any other character from the epilogue, coz I wanted to make it just about the two of them. How they deal with the problems life throws at them - together. The lessons they've learned from the ordeal they survived and which gives them the strength to believe that together they can overcome any obstacle. You described it much better than me 😆Now that I've adjusted my expectations with the show, I don't find myself complaining that much. I do have fits of frustrations every once in a while, and I rant on any of the posts made by like minded people. But the old magic is quickly fading. But it's like a bad habit that you just can't quit, I keep coming back to the show - mostly for Shaheer and Erica. These two are just so so good at emoting, that even a weak story line seems tolerable only because of them.So the only way out I see is to keep writing stories and making Dev Sona do what I want, keeping Shaheer and Erica in mind. Hope that made some sense.Anyway, thank you so so much for your lovely words. You're always very kind to me. I miss your posts on the forum, more than you know. I can only hope that the makers show something that inspires you to make a post, and I promise I will keep waiting for that day!Big love to you,Malvika

I have surely missed our discussions on this forum. There was so much to discuss too, isn't it!?😃 After you commented about the haircut, I checked out some pics in the forum...oh my! The clean look is back. Should I go back to watching the episodes? ... You know, I have not watched this show since Sept 8th or something... I read how the story was going and just couldn't watch all that was unfolding on screen... (and of course, I was busy watching something else as well 😊)Your story was so beautifully handled. The best part was the emotions were real and the handling was just simple... Life can have family, friends, many people around but our emotions are our own, isn't it... So glad this story, the tragedy and the joy was between the 2 people and not because of or for others...I absolutely enjoy your story telling - simple & visual is how it is!I am going to try and watch this show again - hopefully there's something there to think a little about ... There's always hope!!! 😃

Oh yes, the haircut has managed to brighten up my mood to quite an extent. You can give it a shot. But DO NOT WATCH THE PROPOSAL EPISODE. You will again stop watching. You can maybe watch the last two episodes. The most recent ones. Dev is acting saner in them. You'll have to ignore Sonakshi's characterisation though. I keep watching the episodes keeping aside my previous disappointments with both Dev and Sona. I can't really do anything about it so I just try and ignore it. Shaheer and Erica manage to capture my attention. The episodes with the haircut haven't aired yet, fair warning.Coming to the story, I tried to keep the last part as light as possible, they've been through enough and them facing this as a couple was important to me. So glad you liked it :)I really hope that watching the show again inspires you to make a post, I'm waiting for it. Till then, I'll go catch up with something else and comment on your other post on another forum ;)
Ah! Thank you for the warning 😃
I will give the world's most romantic proposal a miss!
If these were real people, there is so much they should have/be doing but they are fictional & the writers are on some sort of bad drama trip...!
If only they had kept things simple... But maybe simple is much more difficult than drama. But am so glad you kept everything simple 😊 ... Loved it.
