You write beautifully. Timely too for us to reflect on Dev's loneliness in the show. Ofcourse you have projected him more stoic than the reel hero and perhaps yours is close to real and I love it.

That was heart-wrenchingly sad. Sometimes I forget this isn't the show, but an FF because of how deeply I love it. Feel so bad for Dev, while having to deal with his own pain he has to console Sona who's hurting as much. Hopefully they heal together instead of resenting each other's presence. I feel like that's what's going to happen between Dev and Ishwari in the show. It's already starting, he's already starting to regret making all those promises to Ishwari knowing that the promises he made with Sona are to new and those too old to forget. Please update soon, can't wait!! Great chapter!!
