Your story title attracted me to the thread so- I ended up reading all of the seven parts in one go! Yeah I do have lot of time in hand!! Jokes apart... I didn't want to stop once I started and had luxury of few parts at my disposal-your story writing style is so gripping and enthralling that it's almost impossible not to keep going
I love the fact that in your story Dev though still blind as ever towards his mom's cleverly manipulated facades have sailed through the turbulences to be with Sonakshi - his only anchor and support system in entirely self-seeking and greedy clan around him(though not clearly stated but interpreted while reading between lines!!!)
What I like in the story so far is their love and trust has stood resilient through so many ups and down in their lives-even after her memory loss she feels very much at ease being in close vicinity of him -sure there is some hesitation which prompts the suggestion of her moving base to her parents but that's dealt with firm and authoritative denial -not because of any power struggle but with secure belief in belonging - she is his responsibility!
Having travelled down the memory lane couple of time with the help of her most prized possession (the way she keeps it on top shelf of her closet-hidden from any casual intruders!!) she does reflect on how's everything not as smooth and serene as it seems - a contented and happy family- so the moment she ruffles the calm surface - be it the conversation with Ishwari or later with Dev the mask slips to pave way to some uncomfortable and sore past- I am looking forward to unravelling of this mystery, I am sure they survived and emerged stronger and closer!
Last but not least - Thanks for making Ishwari human! I can definitely agree with discomfort and to some extent ignorance around Sonakshi in same space but for her son she means the world and no mother would ever take away the only source that brings smile on her child's face!
Looking forward to the next part!
