Dev - Like Sona has said before, his intentions are right but his methods are not. It was okay till Dev offered a job to Ranveer and Ranveer rejected it. But Dev again went too far by getting him that university job without telling Ranveer abt it. He wants to change Ranveer's financial situation so badly for Neha's sake and he doesn't care if he is hurting Ranveer's self respect. Who wants to get a married in a family whr they will constantly remind u of the class difference. And am really surprised by Dev, this is the same Dev who rejected Natasha saying marriage and business should be seperate. Now he is again trying to make a deal for Neha. Ishwari and Sona wud make him realise the mistake in his thinking.Sona - I 100% agree to how Sona reacted. It came as a shock to her that Dev believes marriage shud only be in barabar families when clearly Sona is from middle class. Sona believes love is good enuf for a marriage to be successful. She is right when she says love has to be without conditions. Rembr how bad we feel when RR continously taunts Sona abt the difference between Dev and her status. Imagine Sona's plight on hearing the same from the man she loves. Status comparison between the two couples had to happen and this is the jolt Dev needs to come to his senses. And many are saying Sona doesnt understand poverty seen by Neha or Sona is urban middle class, but rembr Sona is the sole bread winner for the family of 5. Her brother's job is always temporary. She understands the pain of compromising her self respect and joining a job at Dev's house as she needs money for her family.Ranveer - Many are calling him MCP, egoist, selfish but when Ranveer proposed he made sure Neha knew abt his family conditions. Neha refused n he was ok with it. It was Neha who started whole marriage discussions. How wud we feel if we get insulted for being middle class, specially during marriage talks. Ranveer doesnt want to take Dev's help, he wants to progress on his own. Why do people believe that without Dev, Ranveer wudnt be able to succeed in life.Neha - its very difficult to understand Neha. She liked Ranveer bcoz he loved her, not her brother's money. And now she wants Ranveer to take the same money for her sake and is okay to hurt his self repsect. why can't she have some faith in Ranveer's abilities. She can also start working now. And before asking Dev for help, she shud have first discussed with Ranveer. So many times Ranveer has told her why he loves his teaching job, abt his self respect. Neha can easily marry a rich guy who wud fulfill all her wishes, I dnt know why said yes to Ranveer.And that basti comment, really uncalled for. Sound like RR. Love doesnt see class or status. If it did Dev wud have married Natasha instead of falling for middle class Sona. And rembr Ishwari used to work as maid, even Dev's mama was a normal clerk. Why wud a rich family have alliance with such a family if we go by the basti logic? Both Dev and Neha have to understand that love and marriage are not like business deals, they cannot buy love and happiness with their new found riches.Bahut serious and lamba ho gaya discussion 😉P.S.
