To start, Neha was wrong to have asked Dev directly make Ranveer rich without discussing or even mentioning such a thing to Ranveer. Neha's concern of going back to the same life is justifiable. She has seen worst in life, a foster mother to two kids at the age of 9, is unimaginable to any girl. Single piece of cloth to wear, least to eat. Not even able to get a pencil from her mother, forget anything else. So commenting on what she shouldn't do is not alright. No one, not even Sona or Ranveer could ever imagine what that life could had been for Neha.
Ranveer has self-respect, agree, but for a person not want anything else in life and expect others to be the same is wrong again. Its not the question of getting a job offer from Dev, he just doesn't want to move, work for any better, not even on his own. Capable he is, but what's the use, If he chose to live and let his family live in such a situation. Kids fighting over cookies, seriously, Is that what a self-respecting men would do in this situation. I don't think so. He is insensitive towards his current family to not understand their needs, forget about Neha for a minute here. Does Neha truly loves Ranveer, does ranveer truly loves Neha. Its a question, since both need to understand each others point of view here. Its wrong for Ishwari to ask Neha to understand n adjust and not expect the same from Ranveer. Again the typical men's society, women adjusting like Neha duly pointed out. Neha had respect for Ranveer and has faith in his capability but what she is asking is not out of this world. She is asking it for everyone in his family. Even his mother and sister-in-law want the same. Finally If the two Neha and Ranveer If not come to a common point must not continue with their relationship.
Ishwari is such a double standard person. She wouldn't have worked so hard to make Dev study which eventually made her family rich If money was not important to her. Speaking big words now of what Neha should or shouldn't do is not ok coming from her. she is the main responsible person of what Neha is now. Neha's fear is a gift from her mother and lack of love from her.
Dev is stuck between what Neha wants and what Ranveer won't do ever not by others nor on his own. Dev's fault here was to say the two are not of equal status so the relation won't work. He is not wrong, to think Neha deserves a better life. Finally every brother wants the same for his sister. But he didn't realise what he said sona would take it wrongly.
Sona's reaction was normal for anyone under that situation. though she has no clue what Dev meant when he said, he and Neha have seen the worst in life, her reaction is understandable. She is thinking like any one would. For her middle class is like her family who eats well, don't have problems of buying small stuff every now and then. Ranveer's family status is in lower middle class. If Neha gets married she will have to sacrifice a lot, food, cloth, everything, being a woman in the house. Sona had not seen anything like that in her life. Her family mom-dad had been a support for her.
