Chapter 2:

A man is seen sleeping on his bed with his laptop open in front of him. It's evident, that the late night work made him doze off unknowingly. Suddenly, the sound of the alarm wakes him up. After some seconds seeing the laptop open in front of him, he realizes that he had again fallen asleep while working late. He sees the time and its 8 in the morning. Switching off the alarm, he turns around to his bed side table and picks up a mug. Seeing it empty, he shouts, "Kichu!!" A servant namely, Kichu comes running and says, "Ji, bhaiya!!" The man shows him the empty mug and getting up from the bed says, "Mera coffee kaha hain?? Kitni baar maine kaha hain ki ye mug khali hotehi mujhe aur ek cup chahiye!!" Kichu looks down. The man handing over the cup to him says, "Ye galti dubara nehi hona chahiye!! Jaldi se ek cup coffee leke aao. Mujhe late ho raha hain!" Kichu taking the cup leaves the room.

The man is none other than, Dev, Mr. Devrat Dixit, one of the most successful and prominent businessman of India. He is known for his brilliant work and he doesn't care about anything other than his work. But, there are two persons in his life that he can't ignore. But, unfortunately, one is not beside him, and the other person is not fully with him despite being close.

Taking shower, Dev comes out of the washroom and takes the coffee from the table. Sipping his coffee, he opens his laptop and starts assembling some data. Suddenly, his phone rings and he picks it up. The caller says something and he replies, "I'm coming". Getting ready in a formal wear, he comes down the staircase.

When he is about to go away, a familiar voice speaks, "Bhaiya, kaha bhaage ja rahe ho? You didn't have your breakfast!" Dev smiles and looking around says, "Nikki, sorry. Aaj mujhe bohot late ho gaya hain already. I'll order something at the office. And, waise aaj tera show hain na. Tu breakfast karle. I'll see you in the evening!" The girl tries to say something but by then he is gone.

The girl is Nikki, Nikita Dixit, a fashion designer by profession and the youngest member of the Dixit family. Although she is the youngest, but all the responsibilities of the house and her brother, Dev is on her shoulders as all other members are now busy in their own house with their own works. Seeing her brother's carelessness towards him, she sighs sadly and approaches to her work.

Dev reaches office and is greeted by his staffs on the lobby. As he gets inside his cabin, his secretary Tina comes in and greeting him says, "Sir, aaj aapke 3 meetings hain. At 10..." Tina describes all the appointments and meeting to him as he listens them while searching for some files on his desk. After finishing the details of the meetings, Tina says, "Sir, aur ek baat. Kal Dr. Sinha ne phone kiya tha. He wanted an appointment to meet with you! Toh aagar aap kahe toh mein meeting confirm kardu?" Listening the name, he looks at her with a jerk and with a worried expression says, "Dr. Sinha? Lekin, Dr. Sinha se toh mein kal hi mil chuka hu Hospital mein! He said everything was normal toh phir...?" A lot of questions come across his mind and he gets more worried. In a hurried tone, he says, "Tina, postpone all the meetings for the time being. Mein hospital ja raha hun Dr. Sinha se milne! Please handle everything over here". Before Tina could say anything, Dev is already gone.

Sonakshi coming out of the shower opens her wardrobe and takes out a pair of jeans and a formal jacket. She gets ready and leaves for the Hospital. While she is driving the car, unknowingly a flash of memory passes her,

"Gadi kharab ho gayi!!" says Sona in a worried expression as the car makes a little noise. Dev sitting in the passenger sit tries to calm her down and says, "Kuch nehi hua hain!! Phir se try karo! Same thing!" Sonakshi tries to buckle up and following Dev's instruction does each step and says, "Gadi start! Clutch! Gear!!" and as the car makes noise again, Sona gets all the more nervous and says, "Nehi, nehi, nehi. Mujhse nehi hoga. Sachme, aise aapki gadi kharab ho jaygi!!" Dev again persuades her and says, "Arey, kuch nehi hoga!! Phirse try karo, Aur kya ye aapki gadi?? Gadi gadi hoti hain!! Try again!!" Sona looks at Dev and as she starts the steps again, with a sheepish smile says, "I am sure aagar aaj mere jagah aur koi hota na, toh aap itne patiently nehi sikhate. Band baaja diya hota uss bechari ka!!" Dev listening to her gives a determined expression and says, "Aagar aap itna insist kar rahi hain, toh mein kisi aur ko dhundh hi leta hun!!" Listening this, Sona hurriedly says, "Nehi, nehi, nehi, nehi. Main chalati hun na!" "Wo concentrate bhi kar legi driving pe!" says Dev with a witty smile and Sona again says, "Nehi, nehi. Main chalati hun na!!" Dev nods and says, "Okay!" Sona with a cute smile says, "Waise aap mujhe driving sikha rahe ho, who bhi itne pyaar se!" Dev giving an unbelievable looks says, "Ms. Bose. Mujhe bhi aapse baate karna achcha lagta hain! Par ye romantic hone ka time nehi hain! Concentrate kijiye! Gadi chalaiye!" Sona again with a cute smile says, "Sachme?? Aapko mujhse baate karna achcha lagta hain!!" Dev with a straight face says, "Ms. Bose. Gadi chalaiye!" And Sona starts the car and...

Sonakshi's dream comes to halt as she really bumps the car against a bike. The rider starts shouting, Sonakshi getting irritated signals him to stop from inside the car and getting the car out of the mess, she reaches the Hospital. In the hospital, she is being greeted by everyone on the lobby. She enters in a room which has a board written, "Dr. Sonakshi Bose, Nutritionist". As she enters inside, her personal secretary, Payal comes in and says, "Good morning, ma'am." Sonakshi nods while going through her phone. Payal continues, "Ma'am aaj aapke total 18 patients ki appointment hain. Aur 3 baaje, hospital ki board meeting hain. Investors want to meet you personally. Mr. Verma ke Secretary ka call aya tha. Hospital ki extension project ke baare mein woh thora tensed sound kar rahe the." At the last sentence, Sonakshi looks on to Payal from her phone and says, "Tensed??? Hospital mera, Staffs mere, Extension project mera!! Aur tension ho raha hain unko??" Payal in a low tone says, "But, ma'am paise to woh hi..." "I don't give a damn about his money!!" Sonakshi says without letting her finish. In a fit of rage, she gets up from her chair and gesturing at everything around her says, "Ye Hospital maine single handed khari ki hain. I made Incepta Hospitals out of nowhere!! Now, this is the best Hospital in town!! Aur mujhe mere aas paas aise log nehi chahiye jinhe mere intuition, meri kabiliyat aur mere projects pe trust na ho. Mr. Verma aagar tensed hain, then we don't need him. Dusre investors ko call karo!! Mujhe aise log bilkul pasand nehi hain jo sahi waqt pe decision na le sake aur hamesha dilemma mein rahe!!!" Payal in a scared voice says, "But, ma'am..." "Do whatever you are told!! Mr. Verma ke secretary ko phone karke kaho that we don't need him in this extension project." Says Sonakshi and Payal turns to go. Remembering something, Sonakshi calls out to her and says, "Aur ha, 3 baaje ki board meeting pe hamare saare investors ko bulao. I want to see every board member in the meeting. I'll disscuss this extension project with them personally!" Payal nods and coming out of the cabin sighs in relief and in a low tone blabbers, "Arey, bhagwaanji yeh kis insaan ke paas naukri dedi mujhe. Har waqt bewajah chillati rehti hain. Aab mein iss Verma ke secretary ko kya bolu?? Nakhre dikhati hain yeh aur sab ka gussa aake parta hain mujhpe! Hitler kahiki!!" Continuing her blabbering, she goes to her desk and starts assembling all the files.

Sonakshi dashes on her chair and a feeling of regret engulfs her thinking she might have been too harsh to Payal. She picks up her phone and a picture comes across. Seeing the picture, she smiles sadly and says, "Kya banadiya tumne mujhe, Dev!! Kisise bhi dhang se baat nehi kar pati hun!! Aur itna bhala bura keh deti hun, ki baad mein mujhe hi afsos hota hain. Aur phir khudko kosne ke alava kuch kar bhi nehi pati!" She gives a sad smirk and says, "Lagta hain tumhe bulate bulate mein khud hi Ms. Obhodro ban gayi!!"
