But love isn't actually unconditional is it?
We always pose conditions for the people we love. Including our family. We don't tell what Neha has. I honestly didn't like her yesterday. I mean, she is behaving very stupidly, she knows she can't adjust with Ranveer, and this guy won't agree to that whole rich banana process.
Practically speaking, to a large extent, the financial conditions of two people matters a big deal for them to be married. Background and upbringing and habits go a long way. And what Neha posed to be was a pampered girl she wanted to be by her husband.
Which is perfectly okay. But Neha also needs to work for it. Maybe earn money, living separately in a nuclear family is perfect. But depending on your brother isn't.
But love isn't unconditionally. Like Sonakshi said. We don't give into everything our family asks us to do. But we do make compromises.
Happiness is important but not whims and fancies. Overeating and obesity cannot lead to happiness. 😆

Thank you, Najma. 😊 Glad it appealed!

You make an interesting point:

To what extent is love unconditional? And how much do you indulge the whims of the people you love?

Is it even good for them to have their every wish fulfilled? Or is tough love the answer?

Dev seems to have figured it out last night via Sona's advice. And I want to see what he does next.

Neha's conditions seem really unreasonable at first glance. But in light of her deprived childhood, they make perfect sense. Neha needs to put herself first now and she's doing that. I'm pretty sure ranveer will understand her need for a good lifestyle and no children. But to what extent will he compromise?

I think just as Neha journeyed from not wanting to even consider his proposal to accepting it openly in front of her entire family, she will again journey to a middle ground on wealth and kids.

But she will need help to get her to that point where she can understand the full implications of her choices. Rather than tough love, gentle love and a nudge here and there by those who love her may be enough.
