Chapter-2
It was half past eight in the night.Shona packed her bag to leave,just then Niki,Dev's youngest sister entered and hugged her tightly.She looked very happy to see her.
"Shona dii...so good to see you"
After a day full of turmoil,it was a good surprise for shona.Smile came on her lips seeing Niki.
"How r u niki?"
"I am good di..missed u a lot" said niki as cheerful as she was known for.
"Me too,missed all of you..." said shona with a pause.
"Sit with me..I have to tell you so many things" said niki with a grin.
Shona could sense now what it could be all about,but she was getting late so she thought to push it on next day.
"Niki,I'll be late..what about tommorrow?"
Niki did not seem to be un-happy,"Ok..done!Tommorrow" she said and let her go.

Shona was quite disappointed,she knew that expecting a normal reaction from him is utter foolishness but his ignorance hurt her.
In past 2 years she has learned how to hide her feelings very well so she did not react and kept her calm.She was right for him since very beginning that he is 'Mr.abbhodro' and will always be!
As she walked down slowly by the corner of the road,a car stopped near her.She turned to see and was astonished to see that Mr.Abbhodro was there sitting inside,looking at her as if offering a drop.
She chose to ignore him as he did in the morning so she continued to walk without looking at him.
After sometime she felt someone is approaching her.She turned to see and this time to her surprise it was Mr.abbhodro reaching her.He got down from his car and was now walking.
A smile crept on her face but she did not react but just then he held her hand and she had to turn back.
He was looking at her,the same penetrating eyes as if going to pierce right in the middle of her heart.She somehow managed to behave normal.
"Shona!"he called her
She heard her name in such a deep voice after a long time.It was soothing,as refreshing as always.She said nothing,reacting nothing,she just wanted to seize the moment as long as possible.
There was a silence ,sun had settled down but it was not dark,not too much crowd on the road so it was quiet,soothing breeze and a couple gazing each other with a passion so deep that there was nothing which could have been more beautiful than that.
It was a perfect moment for a painter to brush,for a writer to pen down and for an artist to admire.But beautiful things are meant to disappear.
Breaking the silence,Dev said "I am so sorry,I know you are hurt" he said with a chocked voice.
Shona wondered if he knew that he did wrong to her!That was amazing.
She could'nt say much,"It ok !" It was awkward.She was not able to hold his sorry also.
He insisted,"Please allow me to walk with you..." and his voice was chocked.Shona noticed his eyes were moist.she could'nt say No,afterall she was not rude like him.
They both started walking slowly,neither she was in hurry nor he.
"You remember shona,thousand time we have walked down this lane..."
Shona remembered,she remembered each and every bit of moments she spent with him,yet for the sake of answering she nodded.
"Sometimes I think we could have faught for it ,I..I could have gone against all odds to hold your hand..." his voice was breaking and he was about to cry.
Shona could not see him like that.She put her hand on his mouth,
"Dev please,I dont have any regret of our decision..." and tear escaped from her eyes.She could'nt hold it anymore.
"I am sorry Dev,I can't see you breaking down..."
Dev could'nt say anything.But she saw an admiration filled respect for her in his eyes.
And suddenly she felt content.
