So true ! 😆
Guess we've got so much shock value in ZKM from ST that I became paranoid and keep looking over my shoulder waiting for it to drop at any time 😆 .
I see so much of SK in Veer and so many identical points happing between both stories that it's getting hard to separate both characters And trust Veer in my mind.
Although he looks inseparable from Krishna he shuts down with her when ever something happens. Constantly pushing her away.
It's hard to believe that he no longer blames her and got over all the turmoil she caused to his life even though it was unintentional. He is way to arrogant to forgive and forget. The entire time he was chasing after her for forgiveness and she was rejecting him couldn't help but wonder since when does he care? Why is it so important to him. He does have a conscience as he does get confused and rethinks when he saw her family's behavior and regrets misunderstanding her .when he finally finds that things they do aren't her fault. He did depend on her to save his career and he was livid when she didn't fulfill her promise. He didn't believe her at all and even hurt her until his mother told him she was helping his sister. Only then did he go after her begging for forgiveness which soon turned into begging her to marry him. The story was going slow and steady but then made a sharp turn . Loving it but not sure weather or not to keep guard down

Excellent analysis Rainz!

Now coming to this, I completely agree it was a bit out of character with Veer begging Krishna for forgiveness and then he suddenly realised he loves her and then pursuing her for marriage. Honestly I think this was all rushed for TRPs because there were rumours of the show going off air. It would've been great to see Veer realise that he is in love with Krishna, that he has held onto so much hatred for her but then realising that is because he is in denial of his actual feelings for her. Ideally everything would've been done at a good pace and we would've seen proper character development but because of TRPs unfortunately the story has had to be rushed.

Renu... have read your analysis a day back but was refeaining myself from commenting. It's just bcoz ... I haven't watched Krishna -Radhey relationship. And somehow it would be injustice from my part to comment anything about their LOVE.But dear.. as usual great write up.
Ok.. let me give it a try...hope I make some sense😆.

Well... what little bit I get to know from all the discussions over here.. I feel Radhey-Krishna's love was kind of habitual and obligatory. When u begin to stay with a person for so long and witness the goodness and going out of the way to help... u tend to get along with the person... U tend to begin to like the person.. and eventually u begin to get inclined to habitual love for that person.Even if a stranger stays in our house for long ,u kind of begin to love that person... u begin to care for that person. And Radhey was infront of Krishna 24*7 which didnot give her any breathing space to think otherwise. If I could summarise... then I would say it was not a heart and soulful love... where two souls merge together to become soulmates.

But in case of Krishveer they are soulmates.. they are mirror to each other feelings. Here Veer has given her space to opt out of the relationship (during the sangeet ceremony) but we have seen her breaking down at that moment. So,the love was intense.Their relationship passed thru various acid tests.Hatred being as prominent as the love between them. They are two strong personalites... who can push themselves apart but similarly their love is so strong that they have been compelled to become one.The tug of two hearts was so strong that they couldn't ignore each other but had to fall in love.I was kind of surprised when she surrendered her body and soul during the SR night. It's not possible for a girl to surrender herself fully to a person if she has been in love with another person before. There has been no hesitant in her body language in that night. And this made me feel it was a kind of obligatory/kind of love which happens when you begin to stay with a person 24*7 for long (habitual ) incase of Radhey-Krishna relationship.

Renu Pls Yaar !!don"t Bang your head after reading my post😳😆

Have not followed ZKM but after reading your analysis the lines "Although he looks inseparable from Krishna he shuts down with her when ever something happens. Constantly pushing her away." are coming over again and again. Watched those scenes again and yes definitely he does get aloof from her at times. God knows what is going to be thrown at us with this behavior. So wait and watch!

Ishani, this is a great analysis!! Why would I bang my head, dear??

You helped me find the word I was looking for to describe what Krishna felt for Radhe - Affection. She had affection for him after living with him for so long, and as Aneeqa also pointed out, after seeing everything that Radhe was doing for her. Affection can be a form of love, but it's not that soul-searing, life-affirming type of love that you need between life partners.

I completely agree that it was significant that Krishna and Veer consummated their marriage immediately, whereas Krishna and Radhe never did. As you said, that level of intimacy means a lot to a woman, and Krishna clearly had those deep feelings for Veer. Even though she and Radhe were married, clearly she had not reached that level of comfort with him yet. I think the writers were very intentional in showing this difference, especially since they had made such a big deal during the revelation when the Shukla family learned that Radhe and Krishna never consummated their marriage. We know these CVs have layers of meaning behind everything they do, and I believe this was another instance of that.

Thanks so much for commenting dear! And please never hesitate to share your thoughts!! 😊

I agree, Ishani, you usually end up giving a great perspective (especially when you're not in the gutterville 😆) and you're amazing at giving words when we're at a loss of words...
Come to think of it, and honestly I never looked it that way, but you're so right. The significance of SR was lost in the excitement so thank you for highlighting the significance. Especially in our culture and society where s** is still a big taboo and signifies so much importance even if it's out of marriage. So Krishna giving herself completely to Veer and SR is very symbolic to that... You and Renu have covered everything so I'm just not going to say much on the topic!

Ishani, keep on giving us your perspectives and analysis. Since this show is so layered and has so many meanings, it's nice to have perspectives and meaning laid out - to maybe grasp the entire picture.

Subhs, thank you for sharing your perspective! I can understand that the the Radhe-era of the show would have appealed more to some viewers, just as the Veer-era appeals more to others, like myself. Radhe was a good character and a good man, no doubt. My feeling is that Veer is a better match for Krishna.

Thank you for jumping in to the discussion!! 😊
