I think Veer started falling in love with Krishna during the jungle track. He was impressed with her bravery and strength and her desire to save the innocent woman and her child. She then came back to help him when he expected her to leave, and helped save him from the goons. And she displayed tremendous courage when she was shot. Yes, Veer is arrogant, but I believe he truly started respecting Krishna during this time and started falling in love with her. That's why her failure to go to London hurt him so much - he felt it was a betrayal.

As for why Veer kept asking for Krishna's forgiveness, Krishna questioned that herself. And Veer's response was that he missed her in his life and wanted them to be close. I think he realized how close they were getting during the jungle track and really missed their friendship that had developed. And in his case, the love that had also developed. That's why her forgiveness was so important to him. It was after they returned from camp that Veer confessed his love to Krishna - I think he realized his feelings pretty quickly when he nearly lost her due to his anger and actions. Just as Krishna realized her feelings when she nearly lost him in the accident.

With the upcoming revelation about Veer killing Radhe, I think it's highly unlikely that the writers will show Veer marrying Krishna out of revenge. Otherwise the truth about Radhe's death will lose its impact - the emotional devastation the revelation will cause Veer is because he loves Krishna so much and won't be able to bear the fact that he is the one who killed her first husband and caused her so much pain.

Just my thoughts, of course - we'll have to see how it all plays out! 😊

Since we are not suppose to discuss about the other shows here I wud just like highlight veer's character...

Though there are some traits , but veer is more sensible as human.

He was totally broken when they kicked him out of London...so he dint react when he saw Krishna and radhey together .. but instead his mother cursed Krishna...

And the next scenario...is ...he reaches India and hates Krishna for a reason..but also feels sorry seeing her condition...after seeing her in fierce avatar in London...he slowly understood..what type of person Krishna is ...when he thought she might help him get back to London.. to achieve his dreams ...she dint ..he thought she betrayed him and was not ready to hear from her...and in fit of rage he did something horrible knowing that she is widow and was already baring all the tortures from her in laws ...I guess it just happened to make veer realize becoz of arrogant behaviour how a women's character was tainted...

His realization kick started from then what he did was terrible ...

Then he realized that he was in love , made her realize and they got married ...he dint blame her when he got arressted...knowing that there wud be consequences after making her his wife ...he accepted her with all her past and present ...

Where as his previous character..though he was in love with his wife, he did turn ruthless and blamed his wife ...at a point ...

There are so many things but I dont to tell it all now😆

You are right about Veer his actions are one thing but those looks he gives I can literally see the gears turning in his head .
