Tuesday update........Kill this serial please………………..
- Abi goes to some financer to get loan for 3 croes, he refuses saying knowing her back round how he could trust and lend her such a big amount, she comes out and then as usual guessed it right Adi gets out from his car and same old dialogue how she will not get the loan blah blah...............And Abi says maybe you will become a prisoner one day to and then we will see............
- Oh my god couldn't believe it they continues the whole episode with Abi phoning some financer and when she goes to meet him he refuses to see her or agree for the loan.....they just kept on showing the same thing with different financer
- Finally she comes home and KK says Anandi has not come home yet and how come Abi is late too. Abi says Anandi was upset with her about Thols...... Abi request Mano to go look for Anandi he refuses at first and then after few arguments with Arthi, mama and Abi he goes..........

December 18, 2006 - Monday updt

I am now so bored with this serial..nothing happens but thOlvi for abi, abi, abi.

Maddy comes out and faces a swinging bat from Usha's hands. She thrashes him repeatedly and then rushes inside and rouses Anjali up. Maddy comes in snarling and then gets hit again with the telephone and gets pushed into the bathroom. Usha wakes a drowsy Anjali up and takes her out of the room. She brings her home and asks her to set her hair straight and not inform anyone abt this. Anjali is so contrite and begs Usha's forgiveness. Usha says that now is not the time to talk abt that and the servant comes and informs them that Usha's kid has been taken to the hospital. These 2 rush to the hospital.

At the hospital a vexed and angry Adhi comes out of the room and yells at Eashwar abt Usha and her irresponsible attitude in leaving her child. Usha comes in then and he strangles her and asks her to get out and Kanchu follows. She accuses Usha of oor suthufying without any concern for her child and asks if Usha went to Abi's house, to talk to KKK. after all, the other day, that is what she did at the temple. Usha counters saying that the other day KKK was so upset by Kanchu's unnecessary uncalled for, verbal garbage that she needed comfort. Kanchu also forbids Usha inside the room. Now Patti intervenes and asks both mom and son to shut up and tells them that no one has the right to separate a mom from her kid and that a mom would always have her kid's best interests at heart. adhi tries to stop it but Patti says no, and then Usha goes inside the room, followed by a now meek Anjali. She tells Usha that it is only because of her that Usha is in this spot and Usha says, you are after all family. and I know that you are a little immature and so I have not taken any harsh words you have spoken before at heart. 5 rats is very unrat like now.

Abi, Basker, KichKich and Krishnan are talking and Basker asks how can RK madam ask for her money back? Abhi says that they have to return it now and they better arrange for funds. Kich says that they bought those apartments only after RK's approval but Abi says it was a bad decision listening to Basker but now it is of no use. They have to cough up the money somehow. As per plan, they should be in phase 4 now. but they are hardly there, not even liftoff.

Thols comes inside Abi's cabin and asks Abi why is she maintaining this distance from him? what did he do wrong? Abi says that we are good friends but there are other forces at play here and let us leave it at that. She also tells him abt her argument with Anandhi over abi's treatment of Thols. Thols says he did not tell tales but just mouthed his frustration. Abi says it is all water under the bridge now. Thols feels that RK madam is being unbusinesslike, demanding her money now and who is this Ranjan fellow? Our Ramachandran is eavesdropping (just how many doors does this office have?) and Thols says they should refuse to give the project back and they should appoint adiyaaLs to strike back. Abi is aghast but Thols says they have to be bold in facing these things and walks off.

December 19, 2006 - Tuesday updt
Yesterday, it was mostly Abi meeting different financiers who turn her off, after hearing she has been to jail on murder charges, is a woman, does not have a good business background, etc. Abi trots from one guy to another, in disappointment and to make matters routine and mundane, Adhi meets her in one entrance and mocks her and says she will be finished with her reputation. Abi says it will not take much for Adhi to find himself behind bars, just like Abi. Krishnan sir is with her all the way. She comes home and Anandhi is not yet home. KKK is worried and then abi tells abt her tiff with anandhi. Mano is asked to go look for her, but he tries to shrug it off saying, she is a reporter and so, she will come tomorrow. Arthi is her usual nosy stuff, Rajendran throws in his two cents and Mano huffs and puffs and goes off to look for Anandi.
A surpanagai like Maddy, with his nose cut off/broken swears revenge on Anjali/Usha. now he wants to deal with Usha too, much against his friend's warnings.

pudhu thiruppamaa? only one more villian for Abhi.
Mano comes home and says Bharathi doesn't have any knowledge of Anandhi's whereabouts. Anandhi comes in, and says she had to take Karthik (he comes and goes) for treatment and then drop him at B's. Mom questions what binds her to him and Anandi asks Abi to butt out of her business and tells if need be, she will even marry Kartik because of her kutra uNarchi. Karpagam starts kneading her hands.
Lakalaka Kala is advising her mature daughter now to behave like a proper lady and not raise her head while walking to and from the house and not speak loudly..(a good example is Kala herself only - talk abt hypocrisy). Kala's graamathu virundhu gumbal comes and they want the function celebrated in a grand manner. Kala's husband feels it will cost too much and dad asks Kala to spend the 1 lakh he gave her. Kala tells him abt giving it Alams and not getting it back. Chithappa gets wild and they all start to confront Abi (alams) - thinking it is abhi's firm where it has been invested.
KichKich Vishwanathan is informed abt financiers mistreating Abi by Krishnan and he gives another card to Abi. Abi goes there and the guy says he has soft corners for upcoming business persons and who stand on their own feet. Abi pours all her woes and says she has no collateral. SEttu guy says it is ok and as it is 3 crores, he asks her to come back in a week's time and he promises to help her. Abi leaves happy. and Ranjan comes from behind the room and thanks sEttu for parroting what he told him to say. SEttu asks why mislead Abi but Ranjan says she has to be kept on tenderhooks and namba vechu kazhutha arukkanum...and when abi comes back, the sEttu should ask her to come the next day, and so forth..but not give her the money. He then makes a shooting gesture with his hands, saying abi. (I thought RK brought him to take care of the business and so his job must be get back that money - instead why is he behaving as though he has a personal axe to grind against Abi? innum evvaLavu pEru ippadi porapturukkaangaLO, only Thols would know)

Kala and gang are at TV's (chithappa) house and so are Alams and Vidya. Kala yells at Alams and Alams denied all. They start sceaming at one another and then Abi comes in. She is briefed and she tells Chithappa and Kala that she did not receive that 1 lakh and glares at Alams who keeps muttering why did she have to come here, to spoil all..
Abhi tells Kala if she was crazy to give that lady 1 lakh...but even Rajesh's brother keeps asking Abi to compensate and Kala says even during Narayanan's death (manushan setthum keduthaan - he was no good - irundhaalum waste, illaavittaalum waste), that family was like a beggar family and only Abi spent for all. so now it is Abi's responsibility that she gets compensated. Alams tells Abi that she gave the money to Basker who spent it on Abi constructions. Abi asks where Basker is and Vidya says her brother is on his way here. He comes and cannot answer any questions. Kala and gang say they have no other go but to stage a protest in front of Abi's office or go to the police. Abi says fine, go to the police and then Vidya falls on Abi's feet and says her mom is responsible for this and to please save their family once more. Abi calls Krishnan sir who has got the money for high interest. She asks him to come here instead..(pOchu company uruptaa maadhiri dhaan...right from day 1, abi spends company money for personal use - so how is she diff from Basker who doesn't feel at all responsible when his mom coolly takes 5 lakhs and buys jewels..and why can't she give that money now?) and didn't anyone at the company find that out? very strange.
Abi is not at all fit to head any company...that much is certain. Thols in trying to portray a pudhumai peN has failed miserably and rather has portrayed her as a weakling with no sensible head on her shoulders to make business decisions. in fact, Thols is better. all Abhi does is bend for anyone and take insults upon insults.
Krishnan sir comes and that 1 lakh is given to Kala who now wants interest!! Her husband shushes her up and they leave and Abi screams at Basker to tightly rein in his unrepentant mom...and he says sorry....he shd have been at least fired then and there...
inside, Chithapa brags to his wife that he has done his duty as a mediator successfully amidst his very busy political schedules and she rolls her eyes.

abi shd quit and they shd go to work for Adhi. making coffee for Adhi is much better than facing losses and disappointments and cheats every day...

Thols is trying to beat the bushes or rather Abi at every turn and the story has gone back to episode 25 when abi started feeling pressures from all sides.

Brief update for December 27th

- The guy who Abhi promised to 1lahk comes to Abhi's office. He asks were the money is, Krishnan sir asks him to cool down, but the guy won't listen to him and screams. Abhi comes there and ask what is the matter. The guy get angry and ask were the money is? She says she don't have, the guys gives her a big lector about how the poor labours hasn't no money and how can they eat without their payment, she also belonged a poor family before she became MD of this company etc (Every word the guy said to Abhi was so true and abhi deserved that) Abhi gets angry but Baskar comes there and give the guy 1 lahk and ask the man to leave. Abhi ask were he got the money from, he asks her not to worry about that because he hasn't done anything illegal.

- Anjali meets Kishore. He tells her some good news; they don't have to settle down in Mumbai. He wants to become an IAS officer so he is going to the training and will ask to get a post here in Chennai. He takes her to a restaurant, and Maddy is watching all of this and follow them.

At the restaurant Maddy is searching for them and join them. He introduces him as a friend of Anjali and begins to chat with Kishore. Anjali is very scared and upset. Maddy says he a good photographer and shows an album, at the back he has some pictures of him and Anjali. Anjali sees them, and Maddy gives the album to Kishore, but suddenly he takes it back and says at the last he has some ugly pictures and says he has to go to meet a friend and leaves. Anjali want to go home, Kishore get a call and leaves the place, suddenly maddy comes there and demand his 25 lahks. He says he only safes her today, no more chances for her, he want 25 lahk as soon as possible, otherwise he will post a big pictures of them in front of her wedding place.

- Alamelu sees rajesh, he tries to avoid her but she asks him to come inside her house. When he leaves, Vidhya ask Alamelu where the new necklace is. Alamelu ask Vidhya to look inside the cupboard, Vidhya can't find it. Alamelu begins her prombal and says Rajesh most have taken it and goes to his house. END

Here is the story for today (thur)

--Alamelu rushes to Kala's house angrily and confronts rajesh/kala and accuses him of stealing the necklace. Rajesh says he has never seen a necklace in his life and he has not stolen it. Kala tells alamelu that Rajesh has not taken it and accuses Alamelu of being a total fraud. She says Alamelu can complain anywhere. Alamelu threatens that Rajesh must return the necklace within 2 days and leaves. later Rajesh'smother asks him why he went to this lady's house when knows what type of a person she is.

--Alamelu comes home and shouts vengeance at Rajesh or whomsover has stolen the necklace. Bhaskar comes and she tells him that we have to complain to police. Bhaskar says no need because he only took the necklace. He says abhi is in trouble and you already took 5 lakhs from her and so we need to help her out now and hence I took the necklace, he says. Alamelu asks him whether something is wrong with you or have you become foolish like your useless father? Bhaskar says he has not become suddenly good or anything like that. He sees it in a very practical way. He says we were paupers when abhi gave me the job and only if abhi prospers, we can hope to prosper. So we should hope that abhi does well and then only it is good for us. Alamelu says whatever you do, don;'t forget your sister. Now onwards, I will deal directly deal with abhi and get money from her for vidya's marriage,she says.

--Kishore comes to Anjali's home and when they are chatting, Usha comes back home from Bangalore. Anjali says everyone in the house have gone to see the new business that adhi is setting up for mano. After kishore leaves, anjali tells usha about whatever maddy did te previuous day and she is very afraid what he will do if he does not get the money.
She asks usha about the money but usha tells that her father is having difficulties right now but says she will do something definitely and will help out.(may be ask from abhi??)

--Inaugration of kanchana communications--mobile shop set up by adhi and he has appointed staff also and mano/anu listen dutifully to big brother adhi telling that he has invested 10 lakhs etc..Full attendance of adhi's family except anjali/usha. All looking happy except easwar who looks sad.
After pooja, adhi persuades mano to sit in the kalla and adhi /kanchana beam at him triumphantly.Easwar still looks sad and we see now abhi looking haggard walking on the road (for 3 crores rupees?) and comes near the mobile shop and looks to see mano sitting there.

Pretty boring story on friday (dec 29) and the same characters speaking the same type of dialogues.

Here is a brief update.

--abhi sees the cermony in the mobile shop and watches curiously.Anu/mano get blessings from everyone and the 1st sales are made by kanchana and adhi and the money is given to mano. Seweets are distributed by adhi and everyone takes except easwar.
When a guest comes out, abhi sees him and asks details and when she learns that the shop has been set up by adhi for mano, she gets angry.

--Abhi calls mano to the terrace and asks him where he was in the morning. He lies and she asks him why you are lying. She says you have forgotten about adhi's past behaviour. He is doing favors to you only to spite me and not anything else.Now Mano slowly starts talking and says he feels that adhi is having a good attitude with him and asks her why you are trying to spoil that. He says abhi is taking more interest in aarthi and anandhi and trying to help them but she does not do anything for him. When she says she only conducted the marriage, he says that was because there was no alternative. Now he tells her not to put obstacles on his progress and not show her behaviour as usual. Abhi is shocked at mano's talk (but none of the viewers will be shocked about how mano is behaving!).
Mano walks out angrily.

--Anjali thinks about what happened in her life recently and Mandy's torture and decides to commit suicide. When she is about to hang from the ceiling fan, usha comes and rescues her. Usha tells her that even if her home people could not give 25 lakhs still she will arrange it somehow and anjali can keep hope, she says.She asks anjali to promise that she will not try suicide again.

--kanchana/adhi come to rekha's house and invite for arjun's marriage. Minister and rekha are shocked. kanchana tells minister that he should come for the wedding 2 days before itself. minister says he wil regard this wedding like his own home wedding.Rekha still looks upset.
When they leave, Rekha tears the invitation and asks her father, how you are telling without any shame that we will regard this wedding as our own home wedding?
Minister replies that it is like that only--even if the invitation is printed, you will be the bride ultimately.
Now he calls his henchmen and ask them to trace out everything--good or bad habits --of Arjun.

January 2, 2007 - Tuesday updt

nothing much last night. Usha comes to krishnan sir with the hope of borrowing 25 lakhs from Abhi. I think all of them live in their own dreamland. she thinks she can just vault here and calmly ask for 25 lakhs...when it is her family who has all the moola.
Krishnan sir explains that abi herself is calmly asking for 3 crores plus change and Usha wonders how a company as good as this can be on the verge of disaster. (duh..maybe because both partners bailed out and abhi was in the lam) is Usha this dumb to begin with or is that just because of her association with eashwar?
Krishnan sir tells her that he will ask around for 25 lakhs loan (these folks really move around in rich circles) but Usha says she has nothing as collateral. Krish says he will check around and Usha practically begs him..one would think she is asking for a quarter to make a phone call.
she leaves after telling him not to Odhufy this in abhi's ears as she has enough worries. all this is eavesdropped by Ranjan and he quizzes Krish who spills the beans and says he also needs 10000. Ranjan has a thoughtful look on his face. maybe looking at usha, he thought 'pakshi, pakshi' to fall in his net.
Kanchu and Eash visit Kanchana Communications to invite Mano and Anu to arjun and anjali's weddings. Mano practically croons by their neck and melts at her feet. Anu is overjoyed at this blatant display of submission, which she mistakenly thinks as abundant devotion and love. Kanchu says by law they shd have come to invite at their house but things would get murky if it happened and hence the invites were delivered here. eash also murmers that it is against custom to invite people here and they shd go to Mano's house and asks abt the wellbeing of abi and her mom. Kanchu gives him an evil look and quietens him down. Mano hastily stops her and tells her he doesn't even need invitations to attend his family's functions, at which the already bejeweled Kanchu glows some more and Eash cringes in that brightness.
Anu throws in her 30000 serial light bulbs on too.
Kanch gives a bunch of invitations to Anu to be given to all their friends. But anu says that one member from her inlaw family has always supported her and that was TV and so Kanchu shd go and personally invite him. Eash panics and says it won't be right to miss abhi's house and go to TV's house but Anu insists and tells Kanchu that it was TV who helped her see Kanchu at the hospital that day and it is Kanchu's turn to turn to mush and she insists. Anu calls TV who is only too happy to welcome this visit and Anu sends them merrily along their way.

A DGP and the jail DGP are summoned by the concerned minister to hear abt the human rights commission's charge against Manjula's murder in the jail. The DGP ( is it mandatory for all policemen to sport a veecharuvaa meesai - i thought a hefty bulging front bag as in paunch would do but i think the meesai adds extra points - they may think it gives a shade of fear to the lookers but all it does is revolts us) says it was a case of suicide but then Mr.Manjunath, team lead of HRC insists that he has evidence to the contrary and even a signed petition from jailmates. The minister orders the police to fully co-operate with the HRC folks to resolve this matter and informs them that the complaint has even reached the CM cell (or was it PM?) and so, was vital.
They reach the jail and there one of the female inspector is questioned by Manjunath and he says certain inmates are treated royally and can easily get goods from outside and so it would have been possible for a bottle of poison to be brought inside. the cop hangs her head in shame. Many female jailbirds offer complaints against Sulphetta saroja and they say Abi was treated badly by her. SS is summoned and she wishes to speak in private to Manjunath. The converse and Manjunath accuses but SS denies- all in mute mode.

January 5th update

Abhi and Arthi come home and tell about the good news about Anu being pregnant to Karpagam and Rajendran. They are so happy to hear and ask where Anu is as see cant see her. She is worried Anu is very ill and therefore are still at hospital. Arthi says everything is fine with Anu, Mano had called up his MIL house and told them about Anu. They came to the hospital and brought Anu with them. Karpagam shouts at her daughter for let that happened, but they say they couldn't do anything as Anu won't listen to them. Karpagam says they have taken Mano from her and breaks downs in cries.

Usha meets Krishnan sir at a restaurant. He says Ranjan sir has offered to help you ands takes her to Ranjan and leaves. Ranjan introduce himself and ask why she needs money from outside, when her husband is a big business man and could have easily gave her the amount she needs. She says she doesn't want her husband to know about that so how can she tell about this to Ranjan. He offers to give her 25lakh coz he trust her as she is one of the main partner in Abhi constructions. He wants her to sign in some blank paper, she refuses and says she can't sign the papers without talking with Abhi and Tholz first and leaves.

Maddy calls her up and demand 25lakhs. Usha has no other choice than go back to Ranjan and signs the paper. Ranjan look very happily.

Usha meets Maddy at some restaurant and demands all the evidence he has against Anjali. He gives her all the negatives and original videocassette. She is very angry and says he is very cheap. He says as long as he finds girls like Anjali he will continue to use then to earn money and leaves. Giri who is there, sees Usha and Maddy and spy on them.

January 8, 2007-Monday updt
action, action, action. plenty of it in yesterday's episode.

Human Rights Commission (HRC) officials come to Adhi's office to enquire him. Adhi huffs and puffs and tries to blow their accusations/questions away but Mr.Manjunath doesn't fall for it. He tells him that Abhi has complained and so have other inmates and asks him abt his association with Sankarapandi. Adhi is shocked, recovers and says he was supposed to marry Rekha and then for some other reason, that got jinxed but since then they have been good family friends. He further says that Abhi unable to face competition is leveling these accusations. Manju asks him abt his marriage to Usha under duress and Abhi bites an affirmative. He is then asked if knows Sulphetta Saroja and adhi again is in shock. He says he knows no one by that name. Manju says they will be back later if needed and Adhi tells them to question Abhi. Also, he says he married Abhi's business partner and got his sister married to Abhi's brother. IF he hated Abhi, would he do those?
They leave and Giri who is silently watching from outside enters the room and says maybe they should pOttu thaLLufy these folks and Adhi screams at him and tells him he is talking rubbish and these are the powerful HRC folks and sends him away.

Adhi's house:
Kanchu is begging Anu to drink juice as it is very healthy and Anu is weak as such. Paatti is holding Usha's kid and everyone seems to be konjufying a sleeping baby. Eashwar comes and asks Anu to drink too and asks Kanchu if it isn't their duty to inform Mano's home abt Anu's status? kanchu says why, by now, Abhi and arthi would have conveyed the news and if they cared enough, they shd have come here to check abt Anu. Paati also reprimands kanchu (vethu vettu) that it is their duty to inform and send Anu to her place when a just walking in Usha becomes Kanchu's target. She says you talk abt a dil's responsibility and see ours? she comes and goes and doesn't care fit to inform as to where she goes. Usha says she told Kanchu that she was going to the temple but Kanchu says, that is what you say but who knows where you went. Usha just stands there and then walks off upstairs and Kanchu points out that she didn't even care abt her kid.

Usha goes to Anjali's room and shows her the envelope and Anjali falls on Usha's feet thanking her and Usha says she return this favor by living a happy life with Kishore. She refuses to let Anjali look into the envelope and says she will destroy those. Five rats is happy.

Adhi comes to Sankarapandy's house and sees a lot of govt. convoy and the PA tells him that folks from HRC are here. Upstairs, SKPD is being questioned by them and he tries to shrug off their questions by bandha talks as to how he has faced several enquiry commissions and is not afraid of them. He denies knowing Sulphetta and when asked abt his relationship with Adhi, he tells that he is his daughter's business partner and nothing else. They tell him that they have heard all sorts of things abt him but he talks back rudely and asks them who gave them permission to talk like that. And yes, he yelled at the reporters one time but which politician doesn't? Again, Manju warns him that further questioning may be necessary and they leave. Adhi comes in and SKPD says these people are useless. His imbecile mind doesn't even comprehend the severity behind this enquiry and Adhi appraises him of the importance and says these people are just like the court and they mean trouble. He tells SKPD that they should inform Sulphetta to be on their side when SKPD reveals he bad-mouthed her and her brothers when they wanted 5 lakhs and Adhi is visibly upset and asks the minister to correct his ways and pay off the 5 lakhs. He further says he didn't think Abhi would go to this level.
