I didn't like her in Anniyan and Priyasaki - then I realised that it was not the actress but rather the characters. This was repeated too in Unnale Unnale - she does the headstrong, arrogant, suspicious, spoilt women roles; I hope she is given a chance to break out of the mould.

Nets, it's Leena who is responsible for the renewed interest in Sada. ๐Ÿ˜† I had to laugh when I saw her real name: Sadaf Syed Mohammed. Sadaf was the hotel I stayed at when I was in Iran!!

Leena, I found this in the Internet, very interesting stuff, but I think it is far too much for me to type. I did know though that she was a trained Kathak dancer.

i felt sada had a lot of guts to play a mother to a child in priyasakhi though i didn't like the film itself.๐Ÿ˜Š

nets, i think sadha's best film to date still is Jeyam. i mean what a beautiful nuanced performance!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ i still can't believe she did such a good job in her first tamil film itself. this girl is talented but she just made some wrong career moves.

oh you didn't like her in Unnale Unnale? some film reviewers did say she was one of the best things in the film. actually i felt that jhansi wasn't an annoying character. she just wanted her man to be monogomous, that is not a crime.๐Ÿ˜Š

sada actually did a good job in Jeyam. have you watched the film K? it was her debut kolly flick & actually catapulted her to fame. people were copying her 'po ya po' style left & right.๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

hehe.. i was the reason for the renewed interest in sada? now why doesn't that come as a surprise?๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† yeah.. her real name is sadaf. it means pearl shell in arabic. sada said that in an interview.๐Ÿ˜Š

i read that info in wiki too K. kathak is tough. in kolly, i think only 'Jay Jay' amoga and sada are trained kathak dancers. wikipedia has got some great info on actors or actresses.๐Ÿ˜Š

Leena, I think it speaks a lot for the actress if the person dislikes the charater....that it means she did a good job. Sadha obviously did. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

agreed.๐Ÿ‘ she must be helluva convincing. hehe..๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

one thing bugs me though. it is when some label the jhansi character in Unnale Unnale as bad or negative. not because sada plays it or anything but jhansi definitely wasn't a negative character. she just loved karthik too much & couldn't bear with his errant ways.๐Ÿ˜Š

Wasn't she really possessive, prone to jump to conclusions and very difficult to appease???

On second thoughts, we all should be like that, then men won't take us for granted. ๐Ÿ˜†

Jings, now that you have mention it, i have to agree, she was good in Jeyam. I loved the poya pooooo ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† Funny and really good one yar. I enjoyed it alot. In fact, i know remember clearly that i watch that movie 4 times ๐Ÿ˜‰ She looked really pretty there and the way she played her character there was good naa.

I first did't like her character as Jhansi when i first watch it in cinema. Later they played here at Box Office Astro, watching it few times made me love her character there. Her act was based on love and jealousy yar. N she did that very well.... ๐Ÿ‘

sada looks cheap in the stills of takkiri. there's a limit for glamour and she seems to have tried too hard to be glamourous in it.๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† you can't overdo glamour if not you'll end up looking cheap & fizzle out in a flash.

one thing i really love about this girl is her beautiful expressive eyes. she used them excellently in jeyam, priyasakhi & unnale unnale.๐Ÿ˜Š

i prefer her in indian attire. see how flawless she looks in these pics.๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Nice pics, Jiggs. Thanks. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I thought she looked great in Anniyan; loved her costumes in Randakka Randakka song, which was incidentally sung by G.V. Prakash.
