Don't touch Dr Abhay
1. I was shocked to read the article Ek Gaya Doosara Aaya as the ratings on the entertainment pages of Mumbai Mirror. I do not agree with the ratings, especially when it comes to Kkusum.
Anuj Saxena has come up the hard way and indeed has come a long way as an actor. He is known across the globe as Abhay Kapoor of KKusum. He is successful.
He is a multi-talented person. He excels in KKusum as an actor — growing from being a rich spoilt casanova to a loving husband and fond father to two daughters and a son.
Though he looks young, he does the father's role convincingly. Rohit Roy can never come anywhere near him. Infact, because he came as Abhay for a short time into the serial, its ratings dropped. Kkusum is on its fifth year run and will complete 1000 episodes soon, all because of Dr Anuj Saxena who stayed on for so long. He had to go through problems of erratic schedules. But he was asked to stay by Sony and Balaji.
I wish him all the best as Abhay in Kkusum. I would also like to extend my good wishes to him for his debut movie Lips. If he leaves Kkusum, either Kkusum will go off the air or we will stop watching the serial. He was replaced in Prratima too, and look what happened.
2. I was very sad to read the article on rating TV actors in Mumbai Mirror, particularly about Dr Abhay Kapoor, played by Anuj Saxena. He is the best and has a strong fan following. We are Anuj fans in the UK. We watch the serial only for him. After Nausheen left the serial, Anuj has been the sole pull for the serial. After the actress' exit, Anuj carried the serial on his shoulders. He is a fantastic actor, particularly in the role of Dr Abhay Kapoor. No one can do Abhay's role better. Rohit cannot act at all. I have never known him to enact any powerful role in the past anyway.

3. Please do some research before publishing such articles. Anuj Saxena is the best as Abhay Kapoor. The history of Kkusum has proved this.
When Balaji brought Rohit as Abhay, Kkusum started sinking. They had to perforce bring back Anuj in May 2003. He is known across the globe as the affable Dr Abhay Kapoor.
Does Rohit have such credits? He has done serials like Milan, Kitty Party, Bhabhi etc where he was packed off after a while. He is fit only for talk shows. Even Sarkaar runs on Divya and Ronit's shoulders.
Recently too when Anuj took the decision to quit Kkusum, Sony and Jeetendra Kapoor, of Balaji, requested him to stay on. He continued as Abhay Kapoor. If he goes, so will the serial.
He has also made a name for himself as Karan in Saara Aakash. Even in this serial he had to be brought back after a brief absence.
