Will the original Kkusum return?

Her contract with Star Plus lapses towards the end of this month. Rumours doing rounds suggest her (re)entry into Kkusum. But the fact remains that actress Nausheen Ali Sardaar has travelled a long way. Her bridges with Ekta are apparently burnt.
But then she is the original Kkusum. She is the one who walked into audiences' hearts with the girl-next-door role. For one, the woman is certainly playing it safe. And with a film lined up, the rumour mongering is bound to get hotter.
Excerpts from an interview:
This is probably the third time that your re-entry in Kkusum is being talked about. What is your take on it?
It is understandable that being the original Kkusum the audiences want me back on the show. I was almost confirmed to be back before Shilpa Saklani stepped in but unfortunately things didn't work out the way one expected.
But apparently the deal was almost done. What went wrong at the last minute?
I am supposed to be with Star Plus till August 20 for Kaalchakra. However the shooting was wrapped by July. I knew that the show would end soon. Meanwhile Sony approached me for Kkusum. I sought permission from Star Plus to work on another show. But they didn't know then that it was Sony that I planned join. When they did, they got jittery. Then the whole contract issue was brought in, just to make sure that don't step into Kkusum.
How did you react to the loss?
It was a legal contact issue. No one was forcing me into doing anything. Also, I had signed the contract keeping everything in mind. So there was no need for me to grumble later on.
It is said that since your contract with the channel will end, you will be brought back in Kkusum…
All I can say is that I've yet to receive a call from the concerned people. But, I will not be dependant solely on Kkusum. As of now, I'm looking forward to making my film debut with Do Dillion Ke Khel Mein.
You don't seem to be in producer Ekta Kapoor's good books…
I am here to work and not make friends with people. As for Ekta,I'm not a part of Balaji anymore. I don't attend their parties and they don't invite me either. Even when I was with them for three years, I never attended their parties except Ekta's birthday bashes. This industry is my shop and I respect my work thoroughly. But making equations with people and bonding with them is something that has never been my priority.
Of late you've not made any public appearances with boyfriend Vikas Kalantri. Have you ended your relationship?
All I can tell you is that he is a great guy and a fabulous human being. For now, things between Vikas and I are rather uncertain. I am unsure about the future of the relationship.
