Are Amit and Manava a couple?

For a long time now, Amit Varma (Rohan of Kituu Sabb Jaanti Hai) and Manava Naik (Dimple of Baa, Bahoo Aur Baby) have been spotted together at parties, social functions and at malls sparking off rumours about them being a couple.

Amit says, "Manava and I have known each other for quite some time now. We are definitely good friends but we are not seeing each other."

Given the fact that the two have not worked together yet, how do they know each other? "I heard about Manava when I was shooting for Hotel Kingston and she was shooting for Special Squad. We bumped into each other at parties and eventually were introduced by a common friend. Since then, we have been part of one big group. Manava and I have hit it off well and yes, she does accompany me when I go shopping sometimes," says Amit.

Manava Naik

Manava says, "People love to talk about others. But if we give serious thought to everything that is said about us, we'd go crazy. I do not deny that Amit and I go out together. It is natural for one to hang out with people one is comfortable with. But our society still does not accept the fact that a boy and girl can just be good friends.
