Over due!!!
Arohi due date has passed; she is currently 5 days over due. Her body was under a lot of strain, a lot of weight and pressure was on the lower back, bladder, knees and ankles. This made it difficult to walk .Her stomach was huge, it had swollen to a size she didn't think possible. Her hands and feet were puffy as well. It looked like she was going to pop but the question was when? She had been in her room all day, feeling extremely bored to death. So waddled her way into the living room, indeed it was a short journey but for her it was a marathon."That's right, still no baby! (To Ria, Sid, Neev and Sara who are sitting on the sofa) Come on people! Please make some room!" Arohi moaned."Uh Arohi, maybe you'd be more comfortable sitting here? Arjun got up from the armchair so Arohi could sit down."You! Like you haven't done enough, because of you Am in this sate." She strutted as she made herself comfortable on the sofa." Look, I-I know how miserable you are, I wish there was something I can do. I mean I wish I were a male water bug". She glares at him weirdly, "because with water bug it's the male, they carry the babies. And then also umm, I'd be far away in the sea."He sat back down to avoid say anything daft. Arohi turned and looked at the group on the sofa and they moved over, whilst Neev measures the room they've made with his arm and decided it's not enough so they move over more."Jeez.I have never been so uncomfortable in my entire life!"She sighed."Hey! Did you have the baby yet?"Sid teased Arohi. She got the pillow and threw it at him, "do you want me to come over there and sit on you? 'Cause I'll do it."
Arohi and Sara, were sat down on the dining table," have you told him yet?" Arohi put down her folk,"erm...no" she stumbled."Wat!!" she wailed, "When are you going to tell him?" Arohi was just about to answer her question when Neev interrupted them and called Sara over, "guys I've got tickets to the new show in town. I've got 4 extra tickets "Arohi over hears this "what-what about...Me "she pointed to herself. "I thought you wouldn't like to go" Neev replied." Yeah... I don't but I still want to be acknowledged, just because I'm pregnant you think I'm not visible." She folded her arm in a dejected manner." Well, you definitely visible" Arjun also backed out of the plan,"i can't go, I have to go with Arohi to her appointment."
(Appointment)
"Arohi, we got to go." He grunted as he walked up and down the living room."In a minute!!!" Arohi quickly finished getting ready and made her way into the living room, "All right, all right. Let's go!" they were waited in the Obstetricians office, Arohi was sitting on the chair, while Arjun looked at the leaflets on display."Can I ask you something?" Arjun put the leaflet down and faced Arohi."Uh-huh." He nodded."'are you always this irritating?" she complained."Excuse me? Oh Nothing! Just uh, you've been a little short with me lately." He responded. "I'm not trying to irritate you." Arohi snapped back, "Well then you must have a natural talent for it." Arjun put his hand on his head,"Y'know what? The doctor will be in soon, why we don't not speak until then." Arohi silently replied "Okay". There was a Pause for a couple of minutes."Seriously, tap your fingers louder Arjun! That's great!" he immediately stopped tapping his fingers on the machine. "You know we should probably ask the doctor if he even knows how to deliver a baby that's half human and part evil!" before Arohi could reply back the Obstetrician entered, Arjun and Arohi quickly plastered sweet smiles on the faces."Hi Dr. kabir, how are you?" Arohi asked the doc. Arjun stood behind Arohi and whispered in her ear "Oh, you're nice to him."Arohi grined,"he has the drugs!"
"We'll do a quick check."Arohi lied back on the chair. "So, five days late?"You must be a little uncomfortable." The doc asked."Eh, just a little." The doctor examined her, "You're about 80 percent effaced, so you're on your way. It still could last a little while longer. If you're anxious there are a few ways to help things along." Arjun from behind jumped, "Do them!!" Arohi also got eager, "well, we are ready to try anything." The doctor sat on the chair and began to talk."Actually, they're things you can do. Just some home remedies, but in my experience I've found that some of them are quite effective. Okay, there's an herbal tea you can drink. You can take some caster oil, there's eating spicy food" the doctor finished, "Great! We will do all of those."
(About 8:45pm in the apartment)
I need to be true to him. I don't want to tell the truth because she was afraid. Afraid of what he will think. She had to Do everything in a mild and agreeable manner. Arjun reached over for the remote and turned the TV on. Whereas Arohi was tying to find the perfect moment so she could break the news. She took a deep breath and called Arjun's name." There's something I need to tell you." Arjun faced Arohi, to give her all his attention. "...i... applied for a..j" Arohi got interrupted there was a knock on the door. "I'll go open it." Arjun got up from his seat and marched towards the door, it was Nick. "Hey, lovely people." He walked over to Arohi and handed her some flowers."Oh, babes how are you feeling." He asked in a concerned tone." Uncomfortable, motionless and Big, but what are the flowers for." Nick express amusement, "you think you could hide it from me, I know am really, really going to miss you at Elle. Am really happy, that you accepted the job for times of India." Nick said flamboyantly. Immediately Arohi turned towards Arjun, who was in shock, eyes wide and mouth curbed open. He held an atom of tears within his eyes, he was surprised and could not control himself"I was going to tell." Arohi pitched in a low tone." You were going to tell me once you accepted the job." Arohi fell soundless, her conscience had no sense, not telling him sooner was a wrong and this mistake took up more room than Arohi's entire inside. "Arjun...Look I am sorry." She said in a broke words." I was waiting Arohi for you to tell me, I knew about, oh I should have said something" he secretly wiped the vague tears from his eyes." So expecting me to one of those fathers how going to come and see his child a once a blue moon." "no Arjun" she responded." Wait- this... is about you, this is your dream." Nick drowned in to the coach making himself look invisible." Am in the middle of something, I-I should leave." Arohi stood up, "no your not." She forced him to return to his seat. Arjun steadily made his way towards Arohi,"look I am sorry you have every right to fulfil your dream, am happy for, but the truth is I don't want you to leave." He took a deep breath and exhaled. He gazed in her eyes, his emotion reflected in his stare,"i...I love you Arohi." Nick gasped, whereas Arohi put her hand over her mouth." Well? Say something" Arjun felt on the edge." Oh no. No-no! I think my water just broke." Arjun leaped from within and tried to get around the situation, "I am good. Okay! Okay! Uh, I got the pillow! I got the bag! You got the keys?" he strutted."Okay! I got the keys! Okay! Okay!" Arohi said in a clam quality." Argh... you guys are having a baby." Nick shrieked
